remember to thank yourself for how far you’ve come.
it hasn’t been easy.
happy sunday!!! slept in, worked out, had a long journal session and breakfast in a café, and now I’m back at home resting before my PM duty, while the laundry machine purrs and the basketball game plays on tv. I am at peace, I am happy. no dark clouds for the first time in months. things get better.

i was trying to stay optimistic yesterday about having to study for the bar but let's just say the optimism comes in waves and i'm much less optimistic today lol..... what's helping me get through it? cute stationery !!!
The results are the sweetest when you've worked for it. Don't. Forget. That
All work and no fun makes for a very cranky law student
Take a break
Go play cards, smell some flowers, read tarot, do a funny sketch of an animal, learn origami, dance for no reason, draw a mustache on yourself
Don't let life pass you by
hi. will it ever end

today's slow sunday setup, i am currently working at my linguistic paper but i'm already so curious about the reading pensum for my literature class, so i might have a peak when i am done with working on my paper and cleaning for today! (cleaning really is necessary, lol)
also i am incredibly longing for a cozy autumn start, it is my favourite season and i am looking forward to it so so so much!
listening to: paris paloma [it's called: freefall]

Just because you have to study to achieve your dreams doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable
College has been a whole process for me. I did not know how to study, i did not know how to put effort into the right things, and most importantly, i did not know how to accept that my actions (or lack of) were the problem.
It took me years, but I've learned to accept that it's ok for me to need to study to be good when it comes to a subject, that college is a place for learning, not for being instantly good at something.
And now i can finally say that, without the subconscious frustration, i truly do enjoy learning new things, studying new subjects, and studying for the sake of knowing more, not just to pass exams.
It takes work, but it's all worth it.
Now that I'm back at uni again it feels appropriate to revive this account :) I don't know how my desk is already this messy.
