today's line of action. got some clothed pics for the long ones for change - glad that i can draw clothes better than before.
i am reaching the point where i get frustrated at being not good enough more than i have fun, but i think i will get through it since i have company and drawabox exercises that aren't portrait drawing.
otasune week in sickness and in health prompt. influenced by me wanting fish soup
some really fun doodles requested by @tomatomustache !! not replying to the asks yet bcuz i sorta mixed both of ur asks together and i wanna save a few of those ideas as surprises lol .. hope thats okay
i think david bowie's song black star really vibes with big boss from metal gear games (as a legend composed of both ishmael and ahab or as any of them)
a bit of line of action on the train. i picked 30 minutes but don't have time to finish it before arrival anyway, so the longest one is 6 minutes. l like drawing this smiling lady ever since i started doing this exercise, it brings me joy to be able to convey more and more of the beauty of her curvy body and sparkling smile as my skill develops.
miller yawning, circa 1973
i tried to do the pose myself and found it inconvenient and to face the higher lifted arm while stretching my back, but didn't want to redraw it that much
also i know he's not that bulky but it's just using him as a placeholder character tbh
an exercise from banana boi's video about stylized faces on yt. i have no idea who jeremy white is but he was the model in the video and now i remember his facial features lol. all the pics except the last one was supposed to be one minute long but i took some extra time bc i am not good at drawing faces yet. almost all of them look wrong tbh but i had fun. started with more cartoonish pics and ended up accidentally making it more realistic but i think it was the right way to do it tbh. the most ugly pic looked bad from the start and i wanted to retry but the video lady said it's ok to draw ugly pics for this exercise so i decided to finish it.
idk who would even want to disable tumblr ads, they add to the experience imo. i have a collection of screenshots. i especially like when it's in a language i don't understand or something very irrelevant (like "get a new comprehension on usa-china relationship now" or "learn how the habits of drivers from some usa state impact your daily life"), or it's unclear if it's a hardcore bdsm thing or a christian resource. or just so seemingly random thing that i can't even guess what exactly is the product
my tumblr ads are alternating between reminding me i’m a dyke and telling me to fear the space scorpion
thinking of drawing 50 millers in a row to see whether i get consistently better after it
they are culturally exchanging harmful habits now
can u guys watch them for me rq

my line of action buddy won't join today due to having 13 hour shift at work, so i will do it twice for myself and for him, lol
i like how the dancer came out but don't like the rest. i used to draw the lines and simple shadows in 10 minutes and here i didn't even finish the lines in 25 minutes; not a single line in the longer sketches is confident and uninterrupted lol. anyway, i am glad that i challenged myself to draw a bigger thing and try to convey the pose as accurately as i can. will post more in the evening if i do it and like it.
i also finally started drawabox course and found out i can't draw ellipses lol. it is highly enjoyable though bc there are easily measurable criteria to evaluate myself as opposed to evaluating entire sketch.
cw nudity and suggestive images. he/him, 🇺🇦, born 1999. posting bad art bc it is the way to posting good art. you should post your art now!
