Info: For some reason the new girl catches Riven’s attention, and it’s not just because she’s put in second year
Riven x reader
Riven jumped on Skys back as they walked through the entrance of the school building. It was the first day of second year and Riven had just caught Sky talking to a first year. The teasing had begun, and Sky could only roll his eyes at his roommate and best friend before they bumped into someone.
Y/n’s hands shook slightly as she carried her bags through the yard. Her first day at a new school and y/n knew that she would stand out. Having skipped a year already due to her advance in magic, Dowling had decided that she would be better off in a more advanced class, which didn’t sit well with y/n. She would already stand out due to her relation to Stella, cousins by marriage, but that would inevitably take a back seat when people found out about her skills. Not watching where she was going she ended up bumping into someone, knocking against a wall as a result.
-------
“I’m so sorry.” The blonde guy gasped, grabbing her arm to steady her.
“Watch where you’re going.” The raven haired beside him snapped.
“My fault, wasn’t watching where I was going.” Y/n stated, looking down at her bags now on the ground.
“First year?” The guy asked, hitting Riven’s arm.
“No second.” Y/n flinched, rubbing her shoulder.
“I don’t recall seeing you last year.” The Raven guy stated, narrowing his eyes at her.
“I’m new, first year here but second year of classes.” Y/n explained, not liking explaining herself.
“Well I’m Sky, this is Riven, Specialists, probably be in some of your classes.” The blonde haired introduced himself and his friend.
“Y/n, second year, fairy.” Y/n spoke, waving slightly at the end.
“Here, et us help you with these bags.” Sky suggested, holding an arm out to grab some of y/n’s bag.
“I’m out of here.” Riven stated, holding a peace sign as he started walking backwards.
“Riven.” Sky tutted at his friend.
“Seya later.” Riven stated, walking off, glancing back at y/n as he left.
“I’m sorry about him. He wasn’t like this last year.” Sky apologized, smiling at y/n as he grabbed her suitcase.
“It’s fine. And as opposed to these, I got it, thanks.” y/n smiled softly.
“I insist, the least I can do after bumping into you.” Sky stated, and y/n chuckled lightly before allowing Sky to lead the way.
Riven wasn’t sure what was wrong with him. For some reason he couldn’t stop staring at the new girl. He refused to acknowledge the newbies, but there was something about this girl that he could not shift, and currently, he was standing at the upper floor, looking across at where y/n was standing, watching the party down below.
Y/n stood at the corner, away from all the people that were walking along the halls, observing the scene down below. She wasn’t one for crowds, but she knew that if she didn’t turn up than she would draw more attention to herself than she cared for.
“You know you could just talk to her instead of stalking her.” Sky spoke, coming up from behind him.
“I don’t know what your talking about.” Riven spoke, taking a swig from his drink.
“Alright than.” Sky smirked before moving away from him.
--------------
“Staying away from the people, smart as a newbie.” A voice called to her, and y/n turned to see Sky walking towards her.
“I’m not one for crowds.” Y/n shrugged, crossing her arms.
“Funny, neither is Riven.” Sky smirked, pointing towards his friend that was looking over at them.
“I would of thought him the opposite.” Y/n remarked.
“He likes to portray that image, but trust me, he’s a softie at heart.” Sky smirked, winking at her.
Two weeks since her first day, y/n decided to walk the grounds on her free day to see what was around to do. She mostly kept to herself, having an error in the assigning of rooms lead to y/n having her own room, but she didn’t mind that. It made her days more calm, she wasn’t one for madness, and it helped with the questions. Which is why she would often walk the grounds on her own, walking down the path towards the specialist area.
Riven turned his attention to the girl in front of him. The two had rarely spoken since they bumped into each other the first day of term, but there was something about her that wouldn’t leave her mind. Deciding to ignore her, he took out his box of cigarettes and stood up. Y/n frowned at the box as he walked off.
“Hello stranger.” Sky called out to her as she walked by the bench area.
“Hey.” Y/n smiled , eyeing Riven as he sat beside his friend.
“What’s got you around this area?” Sky asked, and Riven looked up at the girl.
“Just walking around. Scouting out the area.” Y/n shrugged.
Y/n walked on further before seeing an outline of trees ahead of her. Looking around, she opted to leave the grounds and head into the hooded area. She knew it would be dark, but that meant that it would most likely be abandoned.
“I don’t see the hype of them.” Y/n stated.
“That’s because you’re a goody too shoes.” Riven stated, smirking at her as he walked off.
“Ignore him, he’s been acting like this since summer.” Sky stated.
“Gotcha.” Y/n nodded before walking off down the path.
Branches cracked under her feet as she made her way into the forest. Birds could be heard and the soft wind against leaves made her smile. She loved nature, which was probably why she gained the ability of earth and it’s elements. Lost in her own thoughts, she didn’t see the foot that was sprawled across her path, leading to her to trip and fall. She groaned and looked to the side before screaming at what she saw.
Riven glanced behind him only to take a double take before jumping away from his position in shock He grabbed y/n out of reflex before pushing her behind him as he screamed out for someone. It wasn’t long before Silva turned up and he crouched beside the mauled and obviously dead man that was leaning against a tree. He opted to send the students back and alert Dowling about their discovery, and Riven couldn’t help but throw a worried glance at the girl beside him.
“Geez, I’m not that bad looking.” Riven rolled his eyes at her reaction.
“Not you.” Y/n snapped, pointing behind him.
-----------------
Y/n sighed as she crossed her arms across her chest as she walked her way through the halls. Students looked her way before whispering to each other, and y/n knew what it was about. Word spreads fast around the school, and by now both students and teachers knew about y/n in the woods. The image from the woods had haunted her the night before, and she didn’t want to speak about the day. She wanted to forget it, however hard that would be.
Riven was leaning against a pillar outside, smoking a joint when he seen a certain h/c headed girl walk out from the school building, trying to avoid the crowds of students that were walking. Seeing her looking down at the ground, Riven opted to call the girl over and try to talk to her.
Riven nodded before moving away from the pillar and heading off to where Beatrix and Dane were standing, watching them talk. The trio that were known for mischief, and y/n only watched as he left, seeing as he placed an arm around Beatrix, looking over their shoulder as they walked away.
“Hey, y/n.” He called out, and y/n froze at the familiar voice. “Come here.” Riven finished, and y/n looked at him, unsure.
“Yes?” She asked, unsure of what the boy would want.
“You okay?” He asked, showing small hint of concern.
“Why do you care?” She asked, frowning at him.
“Yesterday was freaky, I know I seen it.” Riven shrugged.
“Yeah well you use a joint to help, I don’t.” Y/n narrowed her eyes at him.
“Why are you so hostile, I am only asking if you’re okay.” Riven stated, placing his hands up in mock surrender.
“Sorry.” Y/n muttered, looking away from him.
“Want one?” Riven asked, offering his joint to her.
“I’m good.” Y/n scrunched her nose at the strong smell.
“Look seriously, if you want to talk, I’m here.” Riven stated, looking down in confusion as to why he just said that.
“Thanks, I guess.” Y/n squinted at him, unsure how to respond.
--------
The following days, Y/n spent most her time in her dorm, avoiding being seen as much as possible. Riven had grown worried for the girl, and would find himself staring at the back of her head when they were in class together. He had left the relationship he had with Beatrix and Dane, so he had grown to find his feelings for the girl had changed. The two often caught eyes with each other and a short smile would be exchanged. Small conversations would be exchanged, and y/n would still grimace at him when she would see him smoking or up to mischief which would lead to him smirking at her with that boyish smile.
As teacher brought the class to a close, Riven watched as y/n packed her bag and quickly left before the other students left for the day. Y/n threw her bag over her shoulder as she left, and Riven noticed her phone slide out of her jean pocket, landing on the floor. Seeing that y/n clearly hadn’t noticed the loss, Riven moved forward and grabbed the phone off the floor before rushing after.
She glanced up at them as their hands brushed together briefly. Riven raised an eyebrow at her as he felt a tingle as she moved away from him. Y/n only smiled at him before moving away from him. The two held contact with each other before y/n blinked, looking down to break it. Riven cleared his throat and smiled, waking backwards before finally turning.
“Hey, /n, wait up.” Riven shouted at her, waving her phone at her.
“Hey Riven.” Y/n smiled weakly at him, and Riven could see that she was tired.
“You dropped this.” He stated, holding the phone out to her.
“Oh, thanks.” Y/n nodded at him, taking her phone from him.
Riven looked down for a minute, thinking before deciding to try and catch up to y/n. He watched ahead, bumping into students as y/n turned the corner. Cursing to himself, Riven moved quicker, not taking a second glance at those who shouted at him as he moved quickly to get to her, when often he would glare at them. Y/n turned off to a quiet corridor, and Riven stopped at the turn to see y/n struggling with her key. Riven looked back as two girls came whispering to each other as they opened their dorm and walked in, both looking at Riven and y/n before the door closed. Riven coughed slightly, and y/n looked over her shoulder at him before finally getting the door open.
“Riven?” Y/n called.
“Yea?” The rave haired boy turned around.
“No, it’s okay.” Y/n shook his head, cursing herself for calling him.
“Y/n?” Riven asked, walking back to him.
“It’s nothing.” Y/n shook her head again, walking away from Riven.
Riven looked at y/n and moved closer to her. Y/n watched Rivens shadow as it creeped towards her.Feeling a hand being placed on her arm, y/ looked at it before looking up at Riven. She flicked her hair back and smiled up at the boy and he sighed, unsure if he should be doing this.
“Y/n,” Riven started, only to stop himself.
“You followed me?” Y/n asked, narrowing her eys at him from her door.
“I’m confused by something, I’m not sure how to act.” Riven shrugged, not looking away from her.
“Confused about what?” Y/n asked, looking at Riven intrigued by what he wanted to say.
"You, me, I dunno?" Riven stated, shrugging.
"Well maybe say it and it might be helpful." Y/n shrugged, trying to be helpful.
"There's something about you, that, won't leave me. I find myself enjoying our short chats. Brief as they are." Riven started, and y/n looked down as she blushed.
"Riven."
Y/n could only close her eyes as she allowed Riven to move closer to her. Her breath caught in her chest as there lips met, and she melted under Riven’s touch. The kiss was brief and when they pulled away, y/n looked up at Riven in shock
“We are two completely different people.” Y/n commented.
“Sometimes opposites attract.” Riven stated before leaning in.
“What does this mean?” Y/n asked, squinting up at him gently.
“I dunno, we’ll see where this goes.” Riven shrugged, before smiling softly at her.
“I’d ike that.” Y/n smiled, before leaning her head on his chest.

Warnings: child loss, grief
Anthony and Y/n Bridgerton had been together for nearly a year now. During last season they had met, y/n’s family had travelled back home to be with her grandmother after her grandpa’s death, and it had been the first year y/n was introduced to society. As a 20 year old woman she was known as an old woman, nearly old enough to be a spinster. But her father was adamant that his only daughter wasn’t going to wind up with that title, so had put together a list of suitable men for y/n to meet.
Anthony Bridgerton hadn’t been on that list, but for some reason his younger brother Colin had. With y/n’s father having an interest in travelling, the third oldest Bridgerton had caught his eye, and therefore the two had been introduced. Neither Colin or y/n had an interest in each other, but had become close friends. They would often pomegrade around the town with y/n’s handmaid, and one day the viscountess had offered the y/l/n family an invitation to dinner, which was where Anthony and y/n had officially meet.
It was butterflies from the start for y/n, and Anthony had felt a shook when he took y/n’s hand, bringing it up to kiss it gently. Violet could tell by the look on her oldest face that he was smitten for the girl, and had advised Colin to get the two to sit together. For the duration of the night, Anthony showed great interest for the young woman, and asked any questions from her hobby to what she wanted in the future. At first her father wasn’t impressed, but when he seen the look the two mothers gave each other, he found himself second guessing which Bridgerton boy he thought best for his daughter. Despite wanting her to marry for society, y/f/n also wanted her to have some form of love within that marriage, just as he and y/m/n had. It was to Colins relief when her father told him abruptly that he wasn’t suitable for his daughter, and Benedict was more than happy to tell Anthony about that conversation.
It wasn’t long until Anthony asked for y/n’s hand from her father. He had visited her on the daily, and when the two families were out he would escort y/n around, much to the dismay of those who watched on. Anthony asked the question on one of their walks, stopping in the middle of the path as he took both of y/n’s hands, facing her as he smiled at her. She blushed as he held everyone behind them up, but he didn’t care about any of that, his attention solely on y/n. Their mothers hugged each other in delight as they watched the eldest Bridgerton ask the only daughter to marry him, while his father coughed to hid his emotions, shaking Anthony’s hand.
Now, in the cold December weather, the newest Bridgerton couple had joy on their doorsteps. Three months after their wedding, the new Viscountess had learnt that she had become with child. Anthony had been overjoyed with the news, and had grown protective of y/n from the moment they conceived. Y/n had known that her mother found it difficult to conceive, which was why she was an only child, and she had been scared that the same thing would happen to her. So when the doctor confirmed that she was indeed carrying a child, she was ecstatic, wasting no time telling her husband the news.
“Y/n, dear, what is it?” Anthony had asked when his wife had barged into his office without so much of a knock. “Anthony, I am with child.” Y/n grinned ear to ear as she said it out loud. “You are certain?” Anthony asked, not believing his ears. “Yes, it isn’t just the bug I had.” Y/n cried joyfully, putting her hands around Anthony’s neck. Anthony laughed in joy as he placed his hands on her cheeks to wipe away the tears before pulling her into his arms. “What on earth is all this about?” Benedict asked, seeing his brother and new sister buzzing with excitement. “Call mother, we have some exciting news.” Anthony told his brother, and y/n smiled as Benedict rushed off. “We are to be parents.” Y/n called out gleefully as Violet came into Anthony’s office with Benedict and Colin behind her. “Oh this is wonderful news.” Violet exclaimed, moving to take the new Viscountess in her arms. “Congratulations brother.” Benedict smiled, shaking her brothers hand. “Does this mean we should leave?” Colin asked jokingly, only for Anthony to laugh as Colin pulled him into a hug. “Oh I promise I will be out of your hair as soon as I can.” Violet stated to y/n as she kept a hold of her hands. “I assure you there is no rush for anyone to leave. It is a delight to be around such a large family.” Y/n smiled at each of the Bridgerton present, Anthony placing a hand on her shoulder.
---
The months of y/n’s pregnancy flew by quickly. The Bridgerton family were excited for the newest addition, and going by the couples maths, the baby would be due sometime in December. Y/n had always enjoyed Christmas, so having her first born during her favourite time of year made her feel all warm and fuzzy. Yet when December came, the couple felt underprepared. Both y/n and Anthony’s mothers had bombarded the couple with gifts for the baby, and y/n’s father had helped Anthony when it came to the nursery. The couple refused to let the help do the nursery for them, wanting to enjoy the troubles that came with the joy. Y/n had just stood laughing at her father and husband as they put together the wooden crib, while her mother helped her prepare the clothing the babe would wear.
The Christmas tree had been placed in the family room, and y/n admired the twinkling lights that shone on it. The odd ornaments that had been part of the Bridgerton family were littered along the branches, with one new addition for the new Viscountess. Y/n smiled as Hyacinth and Gregory ran around it, holding her swollen baby as she imagined what it would be like with her own children in the years to come. Anthony walked into the room to see her beautiful wife lounging on the sofa, and he smiled as he jumped down beside her, causing y/n to hit his knee in mock anger.
“Anthony Bridgerton, please be careful.” Y/n scolded her husband, before cupping his chin as he pecked her lips. “I do apologize my love.” Anthony smirked at her, pecking her lips again before wrapping an arm over her shoulder. “Will the baby come tomorrow?” Hyacinth asked, looking at the couple on the couch. “I don’t know Hyacinth, only they can decide that.” Y/n smiled at her little sister. “I don’t think I’d like that, a birthday on Christmas day.” Gregory scrunched his nose at the thought. “I think it would be a lovely gift to have them come on Christmas.” Anthony mused, placing a hand on y/n’s swollen stomach. “Your not the one that’ll be going through hardship my love. I would rather have no pain tomorrow.” y/n smiled, wanting to enjoy their first and last Christmas as the two of them. “You soon forget the hardship once you see their little face.” Violet explained as she came into view of her children. “Still , I would enjoy a quiet Christmas with my love.” Y/n smiled, looking up at Anthony. “I like the sound of that.” Anthony smiled, leaning down to kiss his wife softly. “Perhaps we should let your brother and love be children. After all they need all the rest they can get before the joys of parenthood begins.” Violet spoke to her two children, ushering them out of the room before closing the door behind them.
----
The night was cold as y/n walked around the grounds in her house gown. She had felt some twinges and had decided to take a walk outside to see if the cool air would help. Miraculously Anthony hadn’t woken up as she moved, so she got out in peace without Anthony trying to keep her inside. She had seen the clock on her way out, and couldn’t help the smile on her face when she seen it was past twelve. She could see the street lights still shining, and smiled at the sight before jumping when a voice was heard from behind her.
“You should be asleep my love.” Anthony mused, walking over to y/n with his coat hung over his arm. “couldn’t sleep, thought the fresh air would help.” Y/n hummed, rolling her eyes as she felt Anthony drape his coat over her shoulders. “It’s too cold for you to be out here.” Anthony spoke, wrapping his arm around her waist. “I’m with child, not fragile.” Y/n stated, moving to lean against her husband’s chest. “Still, I’d hate for you to be sick on Christmas day.” Anthony stated, kissing her forehead. “I’ll be fine.” Y/n spoke.
The couple stayed in each other’s arms, enjoying their time together. Y/n snuggled into her husbands body, enjoying the comfort she felt in his arms. Feeling his wife leaning heavier on him, Anthony wiggled his fingers along her side to tickle her.
“Anthony stop.” Y/n giggled, trying to get away from him. “Let’s go back to bed. Hyacinth and Gregory will soon be waking us up.” Anthony stated, smiling down at his wife. “Merry Christmas my love.” Y/n smiled. “Merry Christmas y/n” Anthony grinned, knowing how much y/n enjoyed Christmas.
Y/n allowed Anthony to guide her back into the house. It was weird moving in such a quiet house, with voices always haunting the halls during the day. The Viscount and Viscountess began to make their way up the stairs, however, y/n found herself barely able to move when she felt the twinges coming back. Grabbing Anthony’s arm, she came to a stop to catch her breath. Feeling her grip tighten, Anthony looked down at his wife before her knees buckled under her.
“Oww.” Y/n winched, holding her stomach in one hand as she held Anthony’s in the other as she fell. “y/n, what is it my love.” Anthony asked, panicked by the clear pain his wife was feeling. “It hurts.” Y/n whimpered, allowing Anthony to slide his arm around her as he crouched down beside her. “What’s wrong?” Anthony asked. “I don’t know.” Y/n cried, digging her nails into Anthony’s arm. “Help, somebody help.” Anthony called out, not wanting to leave her wife’s side. “Anthony.” Y/n cried, moving to lean her head against his chest. “I know. Somebody please.” Anthony yelled, and then movement was heard.
The next few moments were quick. Multiple handmaids came to the Viscounts aid. With strict instructions to bring his love to their room, a door man was ordered to go for the midwife and inform y/n’s family o while others grabbed water and towels. Multiple doors opened, but Anthony ignored them as he made his way to their bedroom.
“What’s going on?” Violet asked, moving to the closest person. “The viscountess has gone into labour ma’m.” The woman spoke, bowing her head. “Oh Lord.” Violet exclaimed, rushing to help. “What’s happening?” A tired Benedict yawned as he walked out of his room. “Get Colin and take Hyacinth and Gregory to the far rooms. It’s time.” Violet spoke quickly to her son before running to aid her eldest.
---
Screams filed the once quiet halls as Anthony paced along the halls, anxious of what was to come. After some convincing from his mother, Anthony had left the room when the midwife arrived, leaving hm out of the woods of what was happening. He closed his eyes as he listened to his loves screams of pain, praying for it all to be over quickly.
Violet and y/n’s mother were standing each side of the bed, holding y/n’s hands as they coaxed the girls breathing. Sweat covered the viscountess’s forehead, and her eyes had grown tired from all the pain and pushing. The midwife stood at the bottom of the bed, watching for the babes head to appear, but it was a struggle. Y/n had been in labour for the best of an hour, and there was no sign of the babies head.
“Y/n, I’m going to try and feel for the babies head.” The midwife explained, and y/n’s mother looked down at the midwife. “I can’t do it mama, I can’t.” Y/n cried, jumping in discomfort as the midwife done what needed to be done. “Yes you can sweetheart, just think, your baby will soon be in your arms.” Her mother smiled down, pushing back the hair from y/n’s face. “Alright y/n, the baby’s cord is wrapped around the neck so I’m gonna need you to push for me when you feel the need to, as hard as you can.”
Y/n looked up at the two mothers who gripped her hand tightly, nodding at her that it’ll all be okay. She was growing tired, and she just wanted it to be over. Feeling the next contraction, she screamed as she pushed, feeling nothing but pain.
“That’s it y/n, your doing so well. I see their head. Keep going.” The midwife spoke. “Good girl, that’s it.” Y/n’s mother commented, smiling as she kept pushing her daughters hair back in comfort.
Y/n’s screaming came to a stop, causing silence to fill the room. Anthony looked to the door, hoping for someone to come tell him what was going on. Inside, y/n cried in relief as Violet and y/m/n squeezed her hand, comforting her.
“You done so well y/n.” Violet stated, taking a towel to wipe the girls face from sweat. “I’m so proud of you.” Her mother stated with a smile, before looking down where the midwife was working on the baby. “Why aren’t they crying?” Y/n asked, knowing that usually a babe would be screaming. “Ma’m, what’s happening?” Y/n’s mother asked, already having an idea. “They should be crying. Why aren’t they crying? What’s wrong with my baby?” Y/n cried out, begging to know what was going on. “You had a baby boy.” The midwife spoke softly, and the three women looked her way. “Why can’t I see him?” Y/n asked, tears filling her eyes. “I’m so sorry.” The midwife spoke sorrowfully, and y/n began to scream. “No.” Y/n screamed, “Please.” “I’m so sorry sweetheart, I’m so so sorry.” Y/n’s mother grabbed her daughter, allowing her to cling to her. “Anthony.” Y/n screamed in sorrow, wanting her husband.
Anthony looked up in terror as he heard y/n screaming his name. His heart thumped in his chest as he moved towards the door. Not caring about whether or not he should go in, he burst through the door. He froze when he seen what was in front of him. Y/n was in her mothers arms, screaming and crying as her mother attempted to soothe her. The midwife was cleaning y/n up and his mother turned to him before placing a hand on y/n’s back and walking towards him.
“What’s happened?” Anthony asked, seeing the tears in his mothers eyes as y/n could be heard screaming and crying in the background. “Anthony, I’m so sorry.” Violet spoke softly to her son, placing her hands on his arms. “What?” Anthony asked, looking at his mother in horror. “The baby… he didn’t survive.” Violet explained, before wrapping her arms around Anthony.
Anthony clung to his mother as they both fell. They’re baby was gone before it even had the chance to survive.
----
Christmas morning was a sour one for the Bridgerton family. While Hyacinth and Gregory were blissfully unaware of what was going on, they ran around, playing with their presents. The adults sat in the family room, staring into space. Violet had told Benedict, Colin and Eloise about the loss of the baby. The family were in shock, not sure what to do.
After the midwife left the family to mourn, y/n’s mother left after kissing the Viscount and Viscountess on the head. Anthony had moved straight over to his wife, climbing on the bed as she continued to scream in sorrow. Shedding his own tears, he kissed her head as he rocked her. Neither of them moved from the room, and no one went to see them.
At dinner time, Violet asked y/n’s handmaid to try get the couple down to eat something. While the children dug into the turkey, ham and trimmings, the adults remained in their seats, waiting to see if the couple came. They held their breaths when they heard footsteps, and soon two drained and tired figures came into light. Anthony kept an arm around his wife, and only moved from her when Benedict and Colin stood up, moving to comfort the couple. Benedict allowed y/n to fall into his arms as Anthony threw his arms around Colin. Violet looked down with tearful eyes, and Eloise could only watch in shock.
“Why?” Y/n cried, breaking the families hearts, “Why?” causing Anthony to bury his head on his younger brothers shoulder to hid the tears.
Request: from @unknowntoyou2205 Can you do spencer platonic where she is Derek sister and generally goes to them after school but one day she comes in hurt
Derek Morgan x sister!reader, Spencer Reid x platonic!reader
Summary: You're lying to Derek about how you got hurt at school but you can't hide from a bunch of profilers, much less a genius too.
A/N: Thanks for the request! As always, feedback is appreciated.
CW: reader has minor injuries, talks of bullying, one swear word incase someone cares about that lol

Hiding your limp would be painful, but easy. Your bloody lip on the other hand would be harder to disguise. You winced as you pressed a cold paper towel to the cut in an attempt to help the swelling go down, but it wasn’t working and if you didn’t catch the next metro to Quantico your brother, Derek, would likely assume that someone had kidnapped you. You slung your backpack over your shoulder and limped out of the bathroom towards the metro platform.
For the entire fifteen minute train ride you tried to come up with the best story possible to explain why your lip was busted- so far your best idea was just to tell everyone that you got hit in the face with a dodgeball during gym class- but there were no seats available on the underground car, forcing you to stand on your aching leg. By the time your stop was reached it was nearly impossible for you to walk normally without wincing. Still, you put on a brave face as you got into the elevator and pressed the button that would take you to the sixth floor.
You thought about your story again for just a second. Was there even a point in hiding the truth from profilers?
The elevator doors opened and you decided the best course of action was to hide your limp as best as you possibly could and go with the dodgeball story. You practiced keeping a straight face as you walked into the bullpen area.
Just like everyday they were home from a case, your brother looked over at you as you walked through the glass doors and toward his desk.
“Hey (Y/N), how was- oh what happened?” Derek stood up from his desk as you reached him, touching a gentle hand to your face.
“Dodgeball is what happened,” you said, pulling your face away. “It’s fine.”
“Are you sure it’s fine?” Spencer said from his desk.
Ugh, you thought. Profilers. “Yeah. It’s fine.”
You went to move to the empty desk across from Derek’s but couldn’t contain a wince as you sat down. You could feel the looks of your brother, Spencer, and Agent Prentiss watching you carefully as you took out your homework and continued to try to convince them that everything was truly fine.
---
It was almost the end of the work day. Prentiss had already left with JJ and Garcia for girls night. Rossi had gone too- probably to do some rich guy stuff. Your brother was sitting in Hotch’s office, the two of them discussing one last consult before going home. The only people in the bullpen were you and Spencer.
You finished up your homework and put it away, grateful that you could forget about school for the day.
“So, dodgeball?” Spencer asked as you bent down to put your folder in your backpack.
“Yep,” you said. “Dodgeball.”
“And you got hit on the hip too?” Spencer said. You didn’t reply. “I don’t think there’s a formal statistic for being hit in the face with a dodgeball and on the hip at the same time, but I’d imagine the chances are about 0.032% depending on the environment.”
“I guess I’m just that lucky,” you replied, avoiding the agent’s gaze as you sat up, wincing at the movement of your hip again.
“(Y/N),” Spencer said. “Did someone hurt you?”
You sighed. “Not exactly.”
Spencer raised his eyebrows, encouraging you to go on.
“I really don’t want to talk about this.”
“I think you really should,” Spencer retorted. “You hang out around a bunch of profilers and we have Garcia. We’re going to find out what happened eventually.”
You sighed. “You won’t because it’s not on record.”
“So there was a risk of something being on record?”
Shit. You had really given yourself away on that one.
“(Y/N), if someone is being mean to you-”
“They aren’t mean to me,” you started, frustration having built up in your chest. “There’s this kid. He skipped the third grade so he’s a year younger than everyone else. He’s super nice though. I was struggling with homework the last time you guys were on a case and he just came over to me in the library one day and started helping me. I didn’t even have to ask. He reminds me of you.” You sighed. “But the upperclassmen like to pick on him. On the way to lunch there was a group trying to shove the guy in a locker and I- I couldn’t just stand there…”
“So you got in the middle of them?” Spencer asked.
You nodded. “Yeah. I have hand-to-hand training but it was still stupid of me. There were three of them and one of me.”
Spencer shook his head. “I don’t think it was stupid. I think it was brave.” He smiled at you a little bit. “I wish someone would have done that for me when I was in school.”
You were about to reply when Derek called to you from just outside Hotch’s office. “(Y/N)? You ready to go?”
You nodded and rose to your feet, wincing as you put pressure where your leg was still sore. Derek walked out of the bullpen with you and the two of you got in the elevator together.
“So,” he said. “Dodgeball got you good, huh?”
“It did. I think I need another hand-to-hand class,” you said.
Derek nodded. “Alright. We can do that. There’s one on Saturday that has an opening.”
You thought for a second about what Spencer had said before adding, “Do you think I have room to bring a friend?”
Derek smiled. “What kind of friend?”
You shook your head. “Nothing like that, big brother. Just someone who reminds me of Reid and had a run-in with a dodgeball today as well.”
Derek smiled softly. "Alright. I'll make room for your friend. And next time, maybe you should tell the dodgeball that your brother carries a gun."
You laughed. "Will do."
Info: y/n and Tom have been together for 10 years and when the question is asked, there lives slowly come together.
Part 1
Part 2
Inspired by Make it to Christmas by Alessia Cara
Info: Y/n and Casey both know their relationship would be better of done, but y/n wants them to stick it out till the end of the festivities.
Relationship: Casey x Halstead sister
Y/n lay on her shared bed with Casey, watching the lights that passed by their window. Colourful lights appeared every now and then, signs of the Christmas period that had came upon them all too quickly. She listened to the shower cut off from the bathroom and sat up, waiting for Casey to turn up. As usual she had the day off while Casey was working, which meant that they would once again not be spending any time together. The odd time y/n would hang around the firehouse, just to see her boyfriend, but that was awkward since they would always be interrupted with the sound of the bell.
“Morning, did I wake you?” Casey asked, walking into the room while he towel dried his hair. “No, just watching the lights.” Y/n sighed, looking out the window. “I love that look on your face.” Casey smiled, moving to lean over y/n. “What look?” Y/n asked, confused. “The joy of knowing what time of year it is. Christmas brings out the best in you.” Matt smiled, giving her a peck on the lips. “Will there be much point in me going to visit you later on?” Y/n asked, watching as Casey tied his shoe laces before grabbing his jacket. “If you want.” Casey sighed, zipping up his jacket. “If you don’t want me to just say.” Y/n exclaimed, rolling her eyes slightly. “Come if you want, your welcome to visit us.” Casey stated, grabbing his bag before walking out. “I love you.” He called out as he grabbed his keys. “I love you too.” Y/n mumbled, hearing the front door close.
We were warm and wonderful Once upon a time But now we're frozen, hanging by a thread Can we wait a minute? Or can we just try to try? 'Cause my favourite day is coming up ahead
Y/n laughed to herself as she struggled to put on her gloves over her hands. Chicago had hit the cold weather, and while y/n loved the aesthetics of it, she hated being cold. With time on her own, she had decided to visit the Christmas market to waste some time. Her and Casey had planned on doing it, but neither of them seemed to find the time together. Their days off were rare now, when they first started going out they made an effort to have at least one day off a week, but now they’d be lucky to have that off per month. Y/n knew that Casey’s job was demanding, but she still wished they could make it work.
Casey sat in his office, leaning his head against his hand as he stared out the window. He smiled softly at the children that passed by, throwing what little snow was present at each other. His vision stopped when he caught sight of a couple walking down the road, the guys arm wrapped around his girls as he rubbed it up and down, attempting to help her keep warm. Casey could only sigh, there was a time when he and y/n would do that, walk some random night and just enjoy each other’s comfort. They had spent 4 Christmases together as a couple, and each year they would go to the Christmas market and just stroll around, purely to spend time together. They had a set date, and it had become something that y/n thoroughly enjoyed each year, marking the start of the festive holiday.
Deciding to go out for some air, Casey grabbed his jacket that was thrown on his cot before walking through the canteen. Hermann yelled something at him but he just shrugged it off, bumping into Kelly as he went through the door to the pit. Throwing his hands into his pockets, he leaned against the wall, looking around outside. He looked to the side when he heard a laugh.
“You always do that when our frustrated.” Y/n mused, coming to a stop beside him. “Hey.” Casey smiled, pushing off the wall to face y/n. “You ok?” She asked. “Yea I’m fine.” Casey sighed with a smile before looking down to see something in her hands, “What’s this?” “Oh I uhh, went to the Christmas market today, got you guys some treats to keep you going.” Y/n smiled, offering them to Casey. “I thought we were going to go together?” Casey asked, confused on why y/n went alone. “We can still go together, I just went cause I had the time off.” Y/n shrugged, biting her lip slightly. “Yea, next time.” Casey nodded, deciding not to push on it anymore. “Come on in, I’m sure the guys would be delighted to see you.” “Me or the goodies?” Y/n asked, raising an eyebrow. “Maybe the goodies.” Casey admitted with a slight chuckle.
Y/n shook her head with laughter before allowing Casey to push her towards the entrance. She didn’t see the slight disappointment Casey had while she greeted Kelly with a hug. He could only watch as the guys greeted her with cheers, Mouch kissing her cheek as he took the box from her. Kelly glanced between the couple, nodding his head slightly.
Darling, I know that our love is going cold It's just something 'bout the snow this time of year That makes us lose our way, just say we'll make up And hold on a little longer Don't have me spending it alone This time of year is precious Please, can we make it to Christmas? Can we make it to Christmas?
Y/n smiled softly as she said her goodbyes to the crew from firehouse 51. They had devoured the treats she had brought for them, and with it growing late y/n decided it would be better if she started to make her way home. There would no doubt be ice on the roads, and Casey knew how much she hated driving in them conditions. Usually, he would offer her to stay with him in his office, but there was something in him that stopped him this time. So he opted to walk her out while Boden and her talked.
“You take care on those roads y/n, conditions are lethal.” Boden spoke, pointing at the young girl in front of her. “I will Boden, thank you.” Y/n smiled, placing a hand on Boden’s arm in thanks. “Don’t want to get a call and see you in there.” Boden commenting causing Casey to winch. “And with that lovely thought, I am going to head.” Y/n joked with a smile, turning to Casey. “Don’t be a stranger.” Boden commented, he always had a soft spot for y/n from the moment she was introduced to them.
Y/n and Casey watched the chief walk back into the building before turning to face each other. Y/n played with her hands with the cold, and Casey smiled at the sight. Y/n was never one for the cold, and Casey always wondered why she loved a holiday that was surrounded by cold conditions. Turning his head to see Kelly and Squad watching them from their table, so went to grab y/n’s hand, intertwining their hands before guiding her to her car across the road.
“Drive safe.” Casey commented, opening the door for her. “Of course.” Y/n smiled back.” “Text when home.” Casey stated. “I always do.” Y/n smiled and Casey moved to kiss her cheek. “See you tomorrow.” Casey spoke, slight hope. “I’m meeting Jay and Will tomorrow evening, might stay there for night.” Y/n shrugged and Casey looked down. “I’ll call in.” Casey stated, looking at y/n. “Sure.” Y/n smiled, before moving to close the door behind her.
Casey knocked on the top of the roof before stepping away, watching y/n drive down the road.
can we just make it to Christmas? (Everything will be alright) can we just make it to Christmas? (If we just hold on, hold on) can we just make it to Christmas? (Hold on) make it to Christmas Don't know what I'll say to Dad when he sees the empty chair Don't want to hear my Mum say, "Told you so" Waiting for Santa in my bed is no fun if you're not there And I don't want to be angry at mistletoes
Y/n breathed deeply as she moved to knock against her brothers apartment door. She smiled slightly as she seen the reed that was nailed to the front door. It was the same reed that had been in the family from the first year of their parents marriage. In a fit of rage the Halstead’s father was going to throw out everything to do with their mother, but Jay had managed to get a hold of them, keeping bits for them and giving some to Will and y/n.
Jay opened the door with a smile on his face, before frowning slightly when he seen y/n on her own. For the last two years all three Halstead’s had been in a relationship, and their annual Christmas movie night had turned into the three couples spending time together. Will and Natalie were there, and Hailey was on the way back with takeaway, and the plan was for Casey and y/n to arrive together.
“Where’s Casey?” Jay asked his sister in confusion. “I was working so came from there. Casey said he’ll call in.” Y/n smiled at her brother, walking into the apartment. “Did you guys have a falling out?” Jay asked as he closed the door. “No, just I was working late and he finished work this morning so we missed each other. He’ll probably be here shortly. Hey Will, Natalie.” Y/n explained before moving and sitting beside her older brother on the couch. “Hey y/n.” Natalie smiled as Will looked over at Jay with a raised eye brow.
It wasn’t long till Haley arrived home with dinner. She gave her sister in law a look when she seen y/n on her own, and turned to Jay who shook his head as if to say he didn’t know. The group allowed y/n to pick the first film, and each groaned when they seen the polar express start playing.
“That films creepy.” Jay whined, causing y/n to roll her eyes. “No it’s not.” Y/n commented. “Oh yes it is. The animations make the guy look weird.” Will stated, and Natalie hit his chest. “Stop complaining.” Y/n spoke, crossing her arms as she sat in between the two couples.
To an outsider it would look like y/n was third wheeling a double date night, but Jay and Will watched their sister with sadness. They both knew that y/n and Casey loved doing festive things together, and watching movies was no different. It was their ‘date night’ each week, they’d order in and watch a series of some sort. Casey would often pick a horror movie just for y/n to cuddle up on him.
Casey arrived to the apartment late into the night, beers in hand. Jay greeted him with a smirk and bro hug before leading him into the apartment. Y/n just smiled at him as the fireman shredded his coat and moved to sit beside her. Seeing her brothers watching, y/n moved to lay her head on Casey, and Casey kissed her head, wrapping an arm around her as they finished off the third movie of the night.
Darling, I know that our love is going cold It's just something 'bout the snow this time of year That makes us lose our way, just say we'll make up And hold on a little longer Don't have me spending it alone This time of year is precious Please, can we make it to Christmas? Can we make it to Christmas? can we just make it to Christmas? (Everything will be alright) can we just make it to Christmas? (If we just hold on, hold on) can we just make it to Christmas? (Hold on) make it to Christmas (Christmastime) can we just make it to Christmas? (Everything will be alright) can we just make it to Christmas? (If we just hold on, hold on) can we just make it to Christmas? (Hold on)
Y/n and Casey walked to y/n’s car, turning to wave to Jay and Hailey as they headed home for the night. Casey had been with Kelly for the day, getting the Christmas tree, so he had Kelly drop him off at Jays. The journey home was a little quiet, and y/n sighed, moving to turn up the radio. Like every year, y/n had turned the radio to the Christmas station, and Casey frowned as a new song came on. He looked at y/n as she began to sing along.
“Darling I know, that our love is growing cold.” Y/n mumbled softly, watching the road carefully. “Do you think that?” Casey asked suddenly, shocking her. “Casey it’s just a song, I…” Y/n started only for Casey to interrupt her. “We have been growing apart lately, I can’t be the only one who’s seeing it.” Casey explained, and y/n looks down. “I was hoping we were going through a rough patch. It happens for couples.” Y/n sighed, turning her attention to the road once again. “Have we done anything together lately.” “We did tonight.” “Because I remembered it after you said you were going there.” Casey exclaimed, and y/n shook her head. “Our jobs are crazy right now.” Y/n tried to justify. “Our jobs were always crazy y/n, you’re a lawyer, I’m a firefighter, it’s part of the job. But we used to make sure we had at least one day off together, or an evening we would spend together. Now, it’s like we’re not even trying, using work as an excuse to what is really going on.” Casey stated, and y/n pursed her lips to avoid talking. “So what does this mean?” Y/n asked softly, not wanting to think of it. “I don’t know y/n. I really don’t know.” Casey sighed, looking down at his hands.
Darling, I know that our love is going cold It's just something 'bout the snow this time of year That makes us lose our way, just say we'll make up And hold on a little longer Don't have me spending it alone This time of year is precious Break my heart on Boxing Day Just, please, can we make it to Christmas? can we just make it to Christmas? (Everything will be alright) can we just make it to Christmas? (If we just hold on, hold on) can we just make it to Christmas? (Hold on) make it to Christmas (yeah) (Christmastime) can we just make it to Christmas? (Everything will be alright) can we just make it to Christmas? (If we just hold on, hold on) can we just make it to Christmas?
The apartment was warm when they walked in, but it was a clear contrast to how the couple that walked into it were feeling. Y/n couldn’t look at Casey as she took off her winter coat and kit, before moving to the kitchen and turning on the kettle. Casey sighed as he hung up the two coats before following her, wrapping her arms around y/n’s waist from behind. His eyes misted over as she flinched from his touch.
“Please don’t do that to me.” Casey begged, hating him flinching at him. “Sorry, I just don’t want this to end.” Y/n spoke, her voice wavering with emotion. “I don’t either, but we’re making excuses for things that used to be simple. I don’t want to hurt you but if we hold on it’ll hurt more.” “Can we wait it out. We can work on it.” Y/n begged, moving to face him. “We can try make it work over the holidays.” Casey stated, looking y/n in the eyes. “You’re the best thing that ever happened to me, I don’t want to lose this.” Y/n cried, moving to place a hand on Casey’s cheek. “I don’t either, but we can’t hold onto this.” Casey spoke, his heart breaking as he held y/n. “I love you.” Y/n tried, a tear falling down her cheek. “I know, I do too.” Casey sighed, bringing y/n into a hug.
Neither party wanted this to end. But deep down they knew, it wasn’t going to work.
Info: Y/n tries to deal with the loss of her father, but Andreas and Rosalind seem to have different ideas on how she can do that.
Series masterlist
Two months after her father was taken from her, y/n lay on the bed, scrolling through her phone as she looked at the pictures she had of her and her father. Many were from holidays they spent together, with one being a picture Sky had taken while Silva and her fake fought. Since the incident, y/n had tried to visit her father but any time she requested visitation hours, she was denied.
Andreas had taken to training her as a specialist, claiming that her abilities of a fairy were wasted if she wasn't willing to help the queen. Many times he placed her and Sky together, the two fighting till one was pinned to the ground, or an injury caused them to call quits. Majority of the time it was her, and as a result she was left with bruises scattered around her boy and stiff movement became her daily walking pattern. Y/n wasn't made to be a specialist and knew that she shouldn't really be training, more so focusing on her magic.
Since the changes happened in the school, y/n now stayed in the winx suite, Bloom having had convinced Rosalind that it would be best to have her around friends so she wasn't alone. It helped when the fire fairy pointed out that being around friends would mean that her fellow fire fairy wouldn't lose control if she felt like she belonged somewhere. Y/n's thoughts were disrupted when there was a knock on the door, and she hummed as she looked up as the door opened.
"We have magic practice in the circle in an hour." Aisha stated as she peeped her head through the crack of the open door. "Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Y/n nodded before sighing when door closed and turning off phone before getting up and heading to the circle.
"Your emotions are a barrier. Nothing more, nothing less. They're a power source. You've been told to control them." Rosalind explained, glancing at y/n as she stared ahead at the ground. "That isn't always the best option. In combat, you'll need to rely on instinct." She moved and stood in front of y/n, tapping her foot on the students causing y/n to look up "That's when you find true power. Bloom, y/n. Fire on fire, who wins against Marco, an air fairy."
Y/n looked at Rosalind from the side of her eye only to see the new headmistresses eye brow raised in a way that told her not to attempt anything stupid. She looked ahead to see Marco standing in front of the two fire fairies, getting ready to use his magic. Y/n glanced at Bloom who nodded at her in encouragement before they summoned a ball of fire each, throwing it at Marco only for him to shoot electric balls at them, distinguishing the fire as the two groaned. Y/n flicked her wrist and went to make a fire again only for Marco to shoot another ball of electric at her, hitting her shoulder causing her to gasp and fall to the ground in pain, feeling it travel to the metal object embedded in her back. Bloom sees her friend in pain so takes control of the situation, throwing ball of fire at the older fairy, only for Marco to distinguish that ball too. Bloom screams in frustration and allows her magic to get the better of her, and screamed in frustration, fire flowing over her arms.
"Good work Bloom." Rosalind praised as y/n watched Bloom calm down with wide eyes. "You okay?" Marco asked, helping y/n up off the ground. "Fine." Y/n sighed, accepting his help before moving to go sit down only for Rosalind to walk over to her. "Remember I have control over you." Rosalind whispered into y/ns ear before turning to the class, "Class dismissed."
Y/n eyes Rosalind before sighing and grabbing her back, opting to go watch Sky training for a bit. On her way she glanced towards Rosalind, seeing Bloom and her talking quietly. She just sighed and headed towards the specialist area, knowing Sky would need her with Andreas.
-----------------------------
Y/n walked towards the training area to see Sky and Dane walking towards a platform where Andreas was watching a group of specialists training together. She groans and rolls her eyes in annoyance when he glanced her way, tilting his head to side in a cocky way. Seeing his father watching something in the distance, Sky turns to see y/n and smiles at her slightly before getting into place opposite side of Dane.
"The little prince and the upstart. This should be good. Blood first." Andreas spoke with authority. Y/n looked at him with wide eyes as Sky gave him a look. "Worried about staining your new outfit? Maybe home economics is more your speed? Is that what Saul thought. Did he wear an apron?" Andreas looked at y/n with a smirk as she looked down with sadness, taunting Sky. "Come on, let's just do it. We're not going to hurt each other." Dane spoke, wanting it to be finished.
Y/n watched as Sky got his sword ready, Dane following suit. The two stood for a minute before yelling and grunting, charging for each other. Her eyes widened as the two began to fight rough, glancing o the side as she hears footsteps walking towards her. Her eyes meet Rivens who nods at her before watching the two specialists fighting. Seeing Riven and y/n close, Andreas walks over to her, standing between them as they watch.
"Odds?" He asks Riven, y/n eyeing them from the side. "First glance, it's Sky's to lose. Danes got shit to prove. A lot of pressure." Riven spoke and y/n flinched as the swords clashed together. "Yeah Sky will, uh, give him space, let him think he's winning, then find his opportunity. I give it three, two.. nah, thing is this isn't a first glance fight. Sky won't draw blood. Dane on the other hand."
Y/n gasped as Dane nipped Sky with his sword after Sky managed to get him on the ground, drawing blood. Sky moved back in shock, stumbling onto one knee as y/n watched Dane walk off the platform before making her way over to Sky. She stands beside him as he gets up before allowing her to look at the gash on his side. He flinches as she hits against the open wound, and y/n apologized, moving her hand away. The two look at Andreas as he sees' the specialist and fairy together, opting to walk towards them.
"Perhaps we should have y/n have a go at fighting with swords." Andreas stated, stopping in front of the two. "Leave it." Sky stated through gritted teeth. "Why your father never taught you fighting is beyond me, I actually think you'd make a good specialist, better than a fairy anyway." Andreas taunted before leaving.
Sky and y/n walk over to Riven who was watching the interaction. "He's a prick." Sky stated, watching his biological father walk away. "Yeah, and he's your dad. This mean you'll give me a run for my money one day?" Riven asked, smiling slightly. "Come on, let's get you checked out." Y/n sighed before leading Sky to the greenhouse, Riven and Dane following.
--------------------------------------------
After bringing Sky to the greenhouse and seeing Terra and other earth fairies begin the mend the specialist, y/n opted to leave the school building and sit under a tree for awhile. Taking out a book, y/n leaned back against the bark of the oak tree, before starting to revise over today's lesson. However, due to voices behind her she struggled to concentrate.
Since Silva had been arrested for the attempted murder of Andreas, everyone had heard the news and it was now currently the hot topic of choice for student conversations. They particularly liked to talk about how y/n was likely to struggle with control without her father, which also wasn't too far off it sometimes, if it wasn't for the diamond embedded in her back. What it was she still didn't know, and she refused to tell any of her suite mates about it.
Leaning her head back and sighing, y/n opts to close her eyes and take deep breaths before frowning, feeling eyes on her. Moving her vision forward, she sees Rosalind walking into the greenhouse with Harvey talking to her, however the headmistress wasn't listening as she watched the young fairy in the distance. The headmistress narrows her eyes and y/n flinches forward in pain, feeling the diamond on her back burning. Realizing she wasn't getting anywhere anytime soon, y/n sighed and gathered her stuff, deciding to go back to the suite and try to get some rest, unknown of the news she would soon receive.
-----------------------------
Silva sat in the prison cell he had been placed in since his arrest, thinking about his daughter and wondering how she was. He knew how y/n was when things were hard, how vulnerable she became without him. The last time he had been gone for awhile was back during the hunting of the burned ones, and he never forgot the fear he had when she thought he she was going to lose him. And the look she gave him when he was arrested was one he would never forget, her screaming for him forever embedded in his mind, haunting him. Silva throws his head back in frustration but looks back up when the door was heard opening, Andreas walking in.
"How's it going soldier." Andreas said teasingly, moving closer to the cell his old friend sat. "Always the comedian Andreas." Silva stated jokingly, leaning back against the wall. "Yes well, just thought you would like to know how your precious daughter is getting on." Andreas stated, watching in amusement as Silva sat up straight at the mention of his only child. "Y/n, how is she, is she okay?" Silva asked, desperate to know how she was. "Oh she's fine, her fighting skills are coming along. Some specialist you could of had if you wanted." "Andreas don't do that to her, you said you'd watch over her for me. Just leave her be, she's enough going on already, she doesn't want to be that." Silva begged, not wanting his daughter to feel pressured into anything. "Oh I am watching her, we have her under control." Andreas stated before leaving Silva alone. "What's that meant to mean? What have you done to her, please just leave her be." Silva begged to know, only for his pleas to fall on deaf ears. "I'd hold onto the memories you have of your precious daughter Saul, I doubt you'll see her again." Andreas taunted the ex headmaster of Alfea before closing the door behind him.
Silva allowed tears fall silently as he realized his faith was all but sealed, when all he wanted was to see his daughter.

Info: y/n has been part of the supernatural cast from the beginning as the youngest Winchester. She recently lost her mum from cancer and it’s her first convention since the loss, leading to questions being asked.
Relationship: Supernatural cast x platonic reader
Warnings: Mention of loss of parent, cancer, grief
Y/n lay on her hotel bed, staring at the wall in front of her as she lay on her side. Thoughts of her mum were evident in her mind, the last moments she had with her and the duration of her life with her. y/m/n had just lost her battle with cancer, and at the young age of 21 y/n was completely lost without her. She still remembered getting the call from her father, telling her to come to the hospice because her mother was asking for her. She remembered her dad meeting her at the entrance, him pulling her into a hug and kissing her head, before she walked into her mums room, crouching down to hug her tightly as she whispered her sorries and I love yous.
The funeral had a big turn out, y/m/n was the type that everyone loved for. Among those that turned up for y/n, were Jared and Jensen, along with cast and crew of Supernatural. They had been on a break from filming, and y/n had been at home when she was told her mother unfortunately wasn’t going to win her battle. Jensen remembers y/n calling him in the middle of the night, crying after receiving the news. Their time zone was different, and y/ didn’t think about what time it was, wanting to rant to someone. He was straight on the first flight when she told him her mother had passed, calling Jared on the way, and arrived on her doorstep, confusing her father. It was no secret that y/n had a close relationship with her co-stars, but Jensen and y/n were like the father daughter duo on set. So when the duo turned up, y/f/n just showed them to her room and left them alone. Y/n had been distraught, starring at the wall, wrapped in her mother’s dressing gown that she wore all the time. She refused to acknowledge the two lads at the start, but once she felt Jensen’s hand on her back, she broke down, and she screamed as she clung to him, Jared holding her hand over his shoulder.
---
The hall where the convention was taking place was packed. Crowds of supernatural fans had came, wanting to catch a glimpse of the three Winchesters. Dean, Sam & Isla were fan favorites, and the relationship between the three actors were something people loved to see. When they heard that y/n was returning to conventions after a long personal break, fans went wild, and y/n could feel the energy from back stage. She pulled her top over her hands as she flapped them about, before gasping in shock when arms wrapped around her from behind.
“Please welcome the Winchester clan, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalaecki and the lovely, y/n l/n.” Was heard over the speaker before y/n moved away from Jensen as they walked up the steps.
“I’m with you if you need me.” Jensen’s voice came over her shoulder before kissing her cheek.
“Yea.” Y/n spoke softly, leaning back on him, smiling at Jared as he came to them, doing their handshake.
Y/n giggled a little as Jared jokingly slipped on the last step before waving to the crowd while Jensen messed with Jared in picking him up and making sure he’s ok. Y/n rolled her eyes at their antics before sitting on the middle seat, waiting for the guys to sit down before shaking her head. She tried to keep a smile on her face as the Q&A begun.
Y/n smiled out to the crowd as the crowd settled down from the comedic start, waving at some of the phones that were evidently recording. Jensen couldn’t help but watch y/n for a moment with a slight smile before turning his attention back to the fans as the questions begun. Y/n was relieved that most questions were upbeat.
“Are you alright Jared?” Y/n asked, placing a hand on Jared’s arm in comfort.
“I don’t know, that was a big fall.” Jared stated, pouting a bit.
“Well with your height I’m not surprised.” Y/n teased him, and he gasped in mock hurt as laughs were heard.
“Why I never.” Jared stated.
“She’s back.” Jensen smiled to the crowd, holding a hand to y/n as Jared moved away from y/n.
“My question is for Jensen and Jared.” A woman around the lads age spoke out.
“That’s exclusion.” Y/n piped out, pointing at the woman who looked down.
“Now y/n, let’s not be rude and let the nice lady ask her question.” Jensen scolded y/n jokingly, causing y/n to hang her head in shame.
“I have grown to feel like I have watched y/n grow up on screen, and I find it emotional watching her character evolve from the little scared girl to the young independent woman, and I was wondering how does it feel to watch y/n grow from the little 7 year old girl to this young 21 year old woman we see in front of us today.” The woman spoke, and y/n blushed as she looked down.
“Well I for one am personally incredibly honored to have had the chance to be around y/n since she was so young, you know. It’s not something that typically happens in our line of work, you know, working for 13, 14 years together. You generally don’t get that opportunity a lot of the time.” Jensen spoke, using his hands to express himself.
“Most of the time children don’t last very long on a show, they just don’t have the attention span. So when I first seen that there was going to be a little girl or boy, we didn’t know at the time whether or not Dean and Sam were going to have a little brother or sister, I was a little taken aback. Because the hours we do are so demanding and obviously you can’t have a child on set for 13 14 hours a day, you know, it’s not realistic. But y/n, you know, the moment we done auditions with her, we automatically knew that she was a good match for us.” Jared explained, smiling at the memory of their first meeting.
“Y/n was this shy little girl when she came in and as soon as Bobby called action she just turned like that “ Jensen clicked his fingers together, “She was amazing, and I mean you guys seen on the show how great she was.” Jensen bragged, causing cheers to abrupt from the crowds.
“Alright alright.” y/n spoke, using her hands to tell them to pip down.
“No but honestly, this woman. She really is something else. I mean watching her grow up, I have enjoyed it. I still remember her clinging to me on set every day for the first few months of filming. She would refuse to leave my side if she could.” Jensen smiled softly, placing a hand on y/n’s shoulder.
“Yea she took to you really quickly, which kinda hurt I won’t lie.” Jared joked at the end, making y/n smile sadly at him. “Nah, but she has truly become family, and there is nothing that I wouldn’t do for this kid.” Jared spoke proudly, taking y/n’s hand in his to give it a squeeze.
“I still remember when she was young she came to these conventions and mostly stayed behind, but every now and then she would run on stage, if the guys were playing she would dance with the beat until myself or Jared would take her. She would just sit there with her goofy little smile, poking us with her little fingers until we would jokingly bite them.” Jensen spoke with a laugh, causing y/n to giggle slightly.
“Now she hurts with her words so I guess some things never change.” Jared joked causing y/n’s jaw to drop in mock shock.
“She has grown so much more confident in herself which I love to see. I’m like a proud father I have to say.” Jensen spoke with a smile, causing the crowd to awe as y/n leaned her head on Jensen's shoulder.
“Thank you for your question.” Jared smiled at the woman before they moved onto a younger girl.
Moving to the corner of the stage, y/n kneeled down as she watched the girl rush towards her. Tears built in y/n’s eyes as he wrapped her arms around the girl who was close in age to her, breathing out heavily as she controlled her emotions before speaking.
“Hey guys, my name’s Amelia.” The girl spoke softly.
“Hi Amelia.” Y/n smiled at the girl who was close to y/n’s age.
“Who’s your question for Amelia?” Jared asked.
“ My questions for y/n.” She spoke hesitantly.
“Yes.” Y/n celebrated, smiling widely at the girl.
“I don’t want to thread on your emotions and I know this is a little personally, but as we all know you just lost your mum to cancer.” The girl spoke timidly, and y/n’s breath hitched a little as she nodded, “ And well, I recently just got told that my mum hasn’t got that long left so I was just wondering, how do you deal with that news?”
Jensen and Jared looked at y/n with sad smiles, not knowing how she would react or what to say.
“Can you come closer, because firstly I want to give you a hug.” Y/n spoke with a cough, and she dropped the mike on the chair as she got up.
Y/n smiled a watery smile as she felt the tears begin to fall. Quickly wiping them she stood back up from her position and headed back to where Jensen and Jared were watching the scene with sad smiles. Jared placed a hand on her back as she grabbed her mike and sat back down before Jensen took her hand, squeezing it.
“You make your mum proud, I can tell how much she means to you. My mum meant a lot to me too,, still does. But you have to brave for her which isn’t easy. Watching her go from the strong woman you know to someone who relies on you for everything isn’t easy. I’ve been there, it’s not nice. But you can’ show her how you feel. If she sees you smile, she’ll be happy. And that’s all that matters.” YY/n whispered to her, not breaking the hug.
“I’m scared of life without her.” The girl sobbed.
“I know you are, I was too. I still am, just remember the good times. And remember, there are people around you who are there for you. I’m here for you. Never forget that.” Y/n whispered before kissing the girls cheek and moving apart from her.
“Thank you.” The girl stated softly, wiping her cheeks.
“It doesn’t matter who you are or what age you are, grief is always tough. It comes in waves. But it hits different when you’ve been told your going to lose someone close to you, and you have to grieve them while they’re right in front of you. You grieve the times you had before and the times you’ll never have. But what never changes, is the love you have for them.” Y/n spoke with shaky breathes, and the crowd smiled weakly at her. “I love you mum.” Y/n spoke softly into the mike, and Jensen pulled her into a hug as the tears began to fall.

You’re wearing headphones when the alarm rings that signals for everyone to gather in the dining hall. The music is playing too loud for you to hear the siren and unfortunately, you’re all alone in the library meaning no one can tell you to get your ass out of there. When you don’t come to the dining hall, Saul and Sky start to worry. The doors are getting barricaded quickly and soon you’ll have no chance to get inside.
