No matter how much it pains me to say i dont think we're gonna get mom content on Luffy, atleast not much. The same way we havent for any character. I was reading the SBSes and i got so upset I forgot to SS but Oda was asked why there isnt any mom content of them being alive or even there and he answered with some shit like "That's because Mom is the opposite of fun." Im so tired of misogyny ruining stuff bro. Women are the ones that have to make the entire baby, organs and blood, inside their bodies; and birth them. That isnt to mention how much it changes their body and brain afterwards, yet theyre always the ones ignored and the dads get all the content. I just want to be able to watch an action anime and not have to worry about misogyny. Its such a mood killer leaving out half of the population in media or minizing them just because theyre considered not "interesting enough". So tired of it. Dont even get me started on the families oda introduces and then the mom just is already not there or considered. Like what. listening to film red songs and i forgot how fucking heartbreaking "the world's continuation" is. Like ive been listening to it kinda emotional bc ive been imagining it as an oc but now that ive got really into the fandom again im remembering about film red as a whole and the lyrics and utas meaning behind it and its so fucking sad istg if Oda makes it canon that Uta has a sad fate and not just that she got sadly seperated from Shanks im gonna kill myself from the inside out. Actually sadder than Ace's death and the song actually makes me cry every time and now that im listening to it thinking of her i was like lowkey sobbing. Like atleast Ace had people but Uta just lost everything and just slowly fell into insanity and then just... died. IN FILM RED. Shes alive in canon and just got seperated from Shanks and it was sad but shes happy and a popstar somewhere trust. (Its fucking canon don't even bullshit me saying that im coping or headcanoning im too unstable)

It was sad at first but then got pretty interesting and more story based than sad, only a few chqpters out so itll probably get worse later maybe. The second one I read bc i was still looking for something was too fire to be sad about. I do know one thats guarenteed depressing but its a lil too depressing i cried reading it. But it was also fire so i dropped it for a bit to save episodes but now i forgot where i was and im a lil too lazy to try and see. Dont want to reread it either since its depressing. Im too sensitive ;; I need something beartbreaking to actually make me sad but then when i do get sad I get way too sad.

Ones i read are Valhalla 0, Ark of the law (both are in their worldbuilding starts), and Banhyang: The Remote Island.

The one I got really sad reading is called The Warrior Returns, but I do tell anyone that decides to read it it contains tons of triggering content and is honestly more sad than happy. It is interesting though, so it has that.
