There an Au where Bruno died before the kids were born and after Mirabel’s ceremony she started to see him and because she was picking up his habits Everone thought she was Bruno reincarnated

Aaaaaahh!

After years and years of getting bad prophesies from him, some of the villagers decided to…end the source of them…

Or more accurately; Kill Bruno…

So, after luring him to an empty part of town to do a vision, which was another bad one, the villagers pretended to be okay with it, and offered him a drink as a “Thank you”.

Unbeknownst to Bruno though, the drink was poisoned…

He drank it, and at first the townspeople struck up a conversation with him like they’ve always been cool with him, like they didn’t intend on killing him, and Bruno finally felt like he belonged.

But then the poison took affect…

Slowly, all so slowly, Bruno felt immense pain in his stomach, and stumbled to the ground.

All he heard where those same nice villagers insulting him, calling him a disgrace and a stain to the Madrigals, saying that he was better off dead anyways, and that everyone would be happier without him around…

No one heard them say those words. Dolores was a month away from receiving her gift, so no one heard anything…

Eventually, after what felt like hours, Bruno had died, slow and painful, without any of his loved ones around…

Those villagers would dump his body in the jungle for the jaguars to eat…

But what they didn’t know was that Bruno came back as a ghost they couldn’t see, free to roam the world.

Bruno however, chose to stay and roam Casita, wanting to stay near his family he loved so much.

Meanwhile, Alma became quite worried when her son didn’t return home before dinner. Even when he had become distant to the family, he would always eat dinner with them.

So, she went to the town to ask if the townspeople have seen Bruno somewhere, but all of them said they haven’t seen him.

Within days, rumors started to circulate that Bruno had ran away, some even saying he had left the Encanto somehow.

Alma and the family didn’t believe the rumors at first, but as time passed, Alma and Pepa in particular began to believe those rumors. And so, “We don’t talk about Bruno” became a thing.

But they had no idea. They had no idea that their son and brother was murdered by those same townspeople who spread those rumors…

Meanwhile, Bruno saw his beloved family go about their daily lives, and saw his nieces and nephews being brought into the world.

He would watch over them, play with them as if they could see him, but he knew they couldn’t. It was a nice thought though.

But all of it changed when Mirabel’s gift ceremony arrived.

Upon touching her doorknob, the girl’s door faded away in front of her eyes, leaving her without a room and giftless…

She went to bed crying that night, in the nursery again, all alone…

Bruno went to check on her, and upon seeing her crying her eyes out, instantly went to comfort her.

“Everything will be okay, Mira.” He said, floating behind her. “You’re just as special as everyone else.”

After having said that, Mirabel stopped crying, and turned around, facing him, as if she heard that??

“Who are you?” Mirabel asked the ghost, looking at him.

Bruno couldn’t believe it. She could see him??

“Are you Tío Bruno?” Mirabel then asked.

“Yes…” Bruno could only answer, a small smile appearing on his face. She could see him…

From that day on, the two formed a bond that only grew.

Bruno never told Mirabel to keep his presence as a ghost a secret, because, well, he figured they wouldn’t believe Mira anyways, and he was proven right.

Slowly, the family started to leave the 5 year old girl at home when they went to help the town, since Alma figured that a giftless 5 year old girl was useless anyways, and the others simply…went along with it, even if some didn’t agree. Besides, Casita would look after Mirabel.

But they had no idea that Bruno was looking after her, taking care of her while everyone else tend to their obviously more important duties.

As Mira grew, she started picking up habits from Tío Bruno, such as knocking on wood, throwing sand over her shoulder, and crossing her fingers.

Pepa was the only one that noticed, and asked the girl where she got those habits from. Mira only shrugged her shoulders, but it left Pepa quite drenched in rain… :(

Meanwhile, Bruno continued to basically raise Mirabel from the grave while everyone was busy serving the town.

He thought he was simply babysitting her until Julieta and Agustín finally become proper parents for her.

Until the day came when Mira accidentally called him Papá…

Rumors of a Prince - p1

“You could always ask Jason to pay her a visit,” Dick said from where he was lounging, mostly upside down, on the couch in Bruce’s study.

Bruce frowned at him. “I am not going to have Jason kill Vickie Vale.”

“Hey, you’re the one who said kill!” Dick held his hands up or, rather, given his position, down. “I just meant puts some fear into her. Maybe kidnap her for a few days so that she can’t write any more libel.”

Bruce found himself smiling, slightly and against his better judgment. It faded away when he looked back at his laptop. “At least in this case, it wouldn’t do much good. The stories is already out there and unfortunately, Vale’s take on it has captured the public’s attention.”

“Tim knows… and Babs.”

“Undoubtedly.”

“And if those two know, Steph knows. If Steph knows, she’s ranted to Cass.”

“Yes.” This family was impossible to keep things secret in.

“Welp,” Dick said and swung himself to be sitting up normally— or as normally as Dick ever sat. “Then I guess we better tell the others. How do you want to divide this?”

Bruce was grateful that Dick was willing to be his partner in this. “You would be best to take Jason. I’ll speak with Damian. Either of us can catch Duke when he returns from his patrol.”

Dick nodded. “And Thomas?”

“I think perhaps it would be best to have as much of the family in the manor as possible,” Bruce said after a moment. “If he destabilizes, I want him to know that we are around and that he is still safe.”

“Alright.” Dick slapped his knees once and stood. “I’ll drag Jason back then. You know he’ll come if it’s for Tom.”

“Make sure he reads the article before he comes over.”

Dick grimaced. “Yeah. Yeah, that would be best. I’m going to bring some food too. Good luck convincing Dami that he can’t go and stab Vickie Vale.”

Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose. “Right. Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Dick chirped as he left for his task.

Bruce dropped his hand.

‘Gotham’s Pale Prince’ stared back at him from the screen.

Jason couldn't help but feel more game in his heart as he's getting fixed up by Alfred if that bullet was only a little bit more closer to this heart he can be back with his his... Danny

Jason needed to get back fast he was starting to forget everything about Danny it wasn't normal for the living to remember things of a dead

Jason couldn't help but realize that he was rolling down his face as he softly whispered at Alfred "Why won't you just let me die and get back to him?"

Bruce right now without Justice League meeting he couldn't help but start thinking back he was there when Alfred was fixing up Jason he's been trying to figure out why Jason is so suicidal now

Bruce knows that normally people when they come out the Lazarus pits they're most of the time get pit madness but Jason just got the over line since to die and go back to someone he calls Beloved

To Bruce it's clear that something else is coming up and it's definitely magical and not something like mind control he tested Jason thoroughly to make sure heck all of them did

Bruce even tried asking questions about Jason's so-called beloved he needed to die to get back to to apparently Jason's beloved was a beautiful being with white hair and green eyes that had a crown with stars and the most beautiful smile and have puns that would make a Dick cringe

And every time that was always Jason's description of his beloved so Bruce has come to the conclusion that he might have been deceived magically by him being back when he was dead somehow so he was talking to John Constantine, Zatanna and Captain Marvel about this

Because in reality all Bruce wanted was for his son to want to live and give up this fantasy of going back to being dead Bruce just wanted Jason here so they could be a family here and now

Captain Marvel couldn't help but doze off a bit as he listened to Batman tell them about red Hood's problem Billy just couldn't help it he had been so rung out

With high King Phantom being in mourning due to the loss of his boyfriend Robin death magic has been a little bit more testy and has the champion of magic Captain was the one who had to deal with it

But as Captain Marvel listened to Batman's retelling Red Hood's descriptive of his beloved he couldn't help to start mentally putting together clues that might be able to put together of High King Phantom's mourning and Red Hood's suicidal tendencies

So Captain Marvel decides to tell Batman that he knew of being able to help Red Hood and that tomorrow to bring Red Hood and the rest of his little brood with him and they can summon him and fix everything

After Zatanna and Constantine agreed to do the summoning circle tomorrow and they dispersed Billy couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty for lying to Batman but he also felt happy that he was going to be able to fix our relationship and his sleep schedule

Ok so AU where Jason remembers being dead and remembers what he did while he was dead. And now that he’s back? He’s fucking pissed. He doesn’t actually pay attention to anything while he’s with the league. All of his self preservation? Gone. He just wants to die again and be with his Ghost King boyfriend. That’s all!

…

Jason huffed as Robin pushed him out of the way of the bus. Goddamn it. He was so close that time. The stupid kid. Ruining his chances.

Jason didn’t even really care that he had been replaced. He had expected it. B was never sentimental and Jason was never anything more than a sidekick anyways. He was replaceable. That was already proven. Batman always had a Robin. It didn’t really matter who Robin was. It was a title, not a person.

After pretending to be thankful for the save, Jason decided to go back to the league. Ra’s was like super evil but he was also a dumbass. It wasn’t hard to set him off. Maybe he could get Ra’s to kill him if he was lucky. Probably not. Since Talia and Damian were there. Ra’s wasn’t really much of a man. Nothing more than an idiot who didn’t want to die. The complete opposite of Jason.

He knew Talia and Damian were concerned with his behavior. The only reason he was dipped in the pit in the first place was to spite the Batman. Hoping he would be out for blood. He wasn’t stupid. But instead of getting a broken boy urging for revenge, what they had gotten was a very annoyed teen with suicidal tendencies. And very strange interests.

Jason went into his room of sorts. It was the area they let him live in. He didn’t have much, just a bed and a dresser. The only reason he even lived with them at this point was because they gave him food. He had made it clear when he was brought back that he had no interest in revenge. He just wanted to be dead. It was where he belonged after all. It had upset Talia so much that she had set up a small are for him to live in right where she could always see him. Almost like League of Assassins’ version of suicide watch. It didn’t stop Jason from sneaking out and trying anyways.

He grabbed a book he stole from Ra’s a week ago. He left his little sleeping area and went to find the old bastard. He threw the book at him, hitting him in the face. He could hear it as the book broke Ra’s nose. Good.

“Do you have a death wish?” he asked.

“YES!” Jason screamed, “If I don’t die soon, I’ll be too old for my boyfriend! If I die and I can’t date Danny anymore because I’m too old, I’ll haunt your death cheating ass until the timeline implodes!”

“You have some serious issues Todd,” said Damian.

Jason didn’t care, he just hoped Danny was still waiting for him like he promised. He had to get home. He HAD to die.

Now Tim knew that things got serious when he saw Stephanie impaled by a by a plant from that large being called Undergrowth

They were all already freaking out all but Ra Al Gual he seem to know a lot more about this place than he was let him go on and it was starting to get on Tim's last nerves

But right now is mattered was trying to come himself and everyone else down about Stephanie's death Bruce seemed to have his Batman mask one about the situation, Jason looking murderous as he turned himself at Ra, Cass who is normally quiet looks like he was about to start crying, Damian had to look for the spear on his face as he held on to her purple the hood

Which makes sense Damien was right next to her when she got impaled he saw exactly how it happened and her bleed out as Stephanie died immediately after it happened which was incredibly suspicious to Tim but something called his eye it was a green glow like kryptonite but the shade of Lazarus pits

When it started to get more solid Tim decided to get it everyone's attention " guys I think something is about to attack us or it might be another encounter with Phantom" Tim watches all of them got into position when the growing light fell down revealing Stephanie

All of them are in shocked in that moment but Ra Al Gual he walked over curious and sophisticated as he hoped to get up but immediately look to her stomach where Tim knew she got stabbed at he quietly listened as Ra spoke way to calmly for the situation

"Seems like I was right about how death works here you have a sticker which childishly say 'what a spookably terrifying injury boo carefully now " as Ra said that Tim walked over and what he said was right it was a purple sticker with a carton ghost on it on top of Stephanie stomach exactly where she was impaled at

Was concerning but that would matter later would matter was debriefing what happened to her and making sure Steph was okay as all of them hugged her especially Damian and Cass which was a bit surprising but they did watch her die since they were right next to her

Tim watches Bruce finish hugging stuff as he goes right back into Batman mode as he asks "Spoiler. Debrief what happened when you died also can you remove the sticker?"

Tim watch this Stephanie moved one of her love hands to her stomach and tried to to touch and peel the sick of it from Tim's point of view it looks stuck on her like someone super glued in onto her costume

Tim after watching her do that for a while then looked at her took a deep look at her actually it looks like her costume was fixed with some green yarn and she had a deep confused look on her face as she answered Burce " Well B after I'm stabbed do the stomach all I remember is waking up and seeing some kid with black hair and blue eyes and a hospital bed with a sticker book in his lap."

Tim Damian and Cass had helped Stephanie sit down next to them as she continued talking she seemed a bit dazed and out of it that she had just died and came back so she got every right to be and every right to stop if she wanted to but Tim watch the Steph continued "And you have to understand send me some my the stop won't do my stomach it was still open it wasn't bleeding just open but It like had a hole in me empty but not really hurting. "

"The kid in the bed took a deep look at me but he was trying to look into my soul then he beckoned me to come by him and gently put a ghost sticker on my face before smiling at me next thing you know breathing again back here."

Tim and the rest of the bats sat there in silence not only was this place incredibly dangerous had beings that they didn't really understand it also seemed to have no concept of death. When Tim realize that even looked over at Ra he had to know he's been here longer than all of them

Tim couldn't lie he was truly angry warning like that would have helped them sooner for them not to use that as a plan if they were here for too long Tim got up and walked over to Ra with the Livid look on Tim's face he yelled and hollered " You knew and you didn't warn us. You could have told us that hey we're stuck here weather the chance of escape cuz if you die you'll be brought back it was just like the stupid box things. "

Tim couldn't lie he knew it was wrong to mostly take off his anger on Ra he was mad and he needed someone to blame we're getting them caught in the situation and right now it was Ra because he knew the man was more than willing to trick people for his own gain

As Ra stayed silent Tim was getting angrier he was this close to doing something that he was going to regret that was when Cass walked up and calmed him down she got giving him a look that meant they could be angry at each other when they got out and that they needed to keep going through more doors to get to the exit

Little did Tim know as they walked into the next room that all that anger and heavy emotions of guilt and sadness ran through all of them was about to be used by a conniving despair eating therapist

(that's right if I update this again it's going to be with Spectra because I would find that very angst also I cannot write fighting things that will)

Danny's for laughs and giggles has been actually haunting Ra al Ghul in Nanda Parbat in his new electric ancient of space form also he might be trying to dissociate from the fact that his parents tried to kill him for a third time

So Danny's doing like a Spook's haunted Mansion type except with 2,000 doors along with the help of a few Ghost and the spirit of the Lazarus pits

Here's when it starts to turn bad Danny trauma kinda kind starts forming as actual monsters in the house of Spooks so now Ra al Ghul actually has to escape from

Of course Batman and his posse finding about Phantom's House Of Spooks end up going there and because of that Ra al Ghul being taken away all the way back to the start because the bats are there and the game must restart

So the bats are now trying to escape from a little supernatural haunted house and help a half dead teenager with their trauma

The idea of Danny at first using like cardboard boxes and like childish things to try to scaring the Bats and they believe it's just a supernatural child not knowing better but Ra al Ghul know is the deeper they go in the more terrifying it becomes

omg the Bats being forced to work with al Ghul and he’s just so tired he doesn’t mind too much. They can be meat shields if things turn out for the worst lol. He knows Batman and his posey are competent for the most part, so he would be at least somewhat glad for their help…if things weren’t reset when they showed up.

Deadman has the same spiritual signature as a Blob Ghost.

This is a bit of a problem, because every time new Justice Leaguer Phantom is in the same room as him, Phantom has to restrain himself from trying to eat the poor ghost.

He doesn't hide what he wants to do very well though.

His pupils dilate, he fidgets in place, and keeps snapping his head to look at Deadman.

That said, JLD try to keep them very far apart.

They appreciated a super powerful ghost like Phantom resisting the urge to devour their friend, though.

Or; AU where blobs are like a delicious candy/full course meal depending on where they've been, and Deadman is a walking talking buffet. Because of Deadman's rather strange happenstances, he registers as a very decadent blob ghost. Danny is mortified because he keeps seeing this ghost and his instincts kick in with "Food? Food. Hunt? We hunt? We should hunt. Food moved! Food is moving! We follow! We did not follow. Give chase!"

Au where the Justice League discovered Amity Park and actually believed some of what the Fentons were saying. The JL believed that the "beings" on the other side of the portal were animalistic in nature and incapable of higher thought and understanding. Only living out an obsession or a echo of a person long past.

Seeing as they morally couldn't just wipe out an entire race of semi-sentient beings they decided to instead relocate the ones who trespassed i to the living realm to areas better suited to fulfill thier obsessions without harming the people around them.

In the beginning Danny was skeptical, but as weeks passed and more and more of his Rouges Gallery disappeared and stayed happily in thier new homes (he checked) he became more comfortable with the idea.

He knew he would have to be more careful as Phantom, but he always made sure to book it when he felt the JL getting near to his territory. He loved being able to live his life and actually do his school work, he nearly cried when he saw the strait A's on his newest report card.

The problem occurs when Phantom had just caught some blob ghosts his parents had been chasing when he felt the sting of a tranquilizer dart hitting him in the back. Then everything went dark.

When he woke up he was greeted with the the sight of glowing bars. One of his parents cages, great. He was also tied up with the Fenton fishing line, extra great. And there was a blond woman with a clipboard-Black Canary- asking him all sorts of questions that ghosts find invasive. Questions like, "What is your Obsession? Where do you live? What is your lair like? Do you have one? What is your real name?" Phantom nearly scoffed at that. There's plenty of reasons ghosts don't share theyre real names, one being that it gives a person power over that ghost.

The lady kept going on, taking pauses between each question, hoping that the child she had caged would answer her.

Phantom just stayed uncharacteristically quiet, not wanting anything he said to be used against him incase this session was recorded.

They tried to relocate him after a week despite his continued lack of cooperation. It doesn't matter what or where they try, Phantom always escapes back to Amity and the Justice League can't figure out how or why.
