so yea im new to tumblr, i knew about shifting in 2021 and tried shifting for about a year but i never made it. i truly believe i tried everything but i came back because im really desperate. my dad died and i dont think i can handle living without him so i need to permashift asap

please some tips methods whatever im gonna go cray cray over here

reminder that you can shift anytime, anywhere, under any condition. it doesn’t matter if you’re exhausted, if you’re spiralling, if you’ve just remembered an email you forgot to send and now you’re in a fugue state of regret. it doesn’t matter if you’ve put shifting on a pedestal so high it’s getting altitude sickness (even then, a pedestal is just a glorified step stool. kick it over. nothing is above you, nothing is out of reach), or if your brain is complied of intrusive thoughts and mental white noise. you could be in a grocery store queue, on a sinking ship, in the middle of a hostage negotiation. and could still shift.

people love a reason why not. alas, the conditions are not set in stone. they never were. consciousness is liquid gold. it seeps through cracks, it adapts. you don’t need the stars to align. you don’t need the perfect night, the perfect mood, the perfect silence. you need exactly what you already have... a mind.

i don't really remember much of what it was about but i know it discouraged me from shifting for a while when it first came out

everytime i think about shifting i shift, everytime i go to sleep i wake up in my dr. it so easy for me, i can shift literslly whenever i want and i dont even have to try because it is that easy.

this is my cozy little magic space where I unwind in between my shifts. its tucked away in a foggy fairytale-like cave, with calming spa tunes and ocean waves playing in the backround at all times. the scent of vanilla fills the air and there are bubbles drifting through the air, when I pop them, they burst into either sparkles or calming fragrances.
