Marah, @freepaleatine95, is one of many people displaced in Gaza over the past year. Food is scarce as Gaza has been cut off, and when avaliable it is expensive. These are hard enough to deal with by oneself, when you are reasonably healthy. But again, like many Palestinians in Gaza, Marah is not alone, and the issue of food cannot be isolated from everything else. In her particular situation, both her parents are diabetic.
I am sure that most reading this know what diabetes is, but most likely have a very surface level understanding of it- a key point I would like to impress upon you is that infrequent access to food makes diabetes worse, even if its just infrequent throughout the day. My mother is diabetic, and constantly keeps snacks to moderate her blood sugar. Diabetes also makes any infections you have worse, and can make you more likely to get infections. Not all diabetics are insulin dependent, but infrequent access to food and other factors can shift your health so that you become insulin dependent. If food is not easily getting into Gaza, then one must understand: other medications like insulin aren't either. The treatment for Marah's parents is not accessible.
They have over 38k out of their goal of 50k, which will not only help care for Marah and her parents until they can evacuate, but also her married sisters and her young nieces and nephews. There still is a ways to go, but it is the final stretch. Having enough good food always impacts ones health, but this is especially important in this instance. Even a little can add up to a lot, so long as many people dedicate themselves to a little.
The family fundraiser has been verified here by @90-ghost
I was contacted by Nader to draw pictures for and help spread his brother Abdulsalam Al-Anqar’s fundraiser to save their family. Nader is a 17 year old boy who lives in Gaza with his family: parents Ahmed (54) and mother Iman (49), brothers Abdulsalam (26), Mohammed (14), and Omar (21) and Abdulsalam’s wife and their one year old daughter Iman. Imagine it was your sibling, your friend, your son, who should be in school or with his friends, who instead has to hide from bombs and ask for help online to save his family. His family have suffered through one year of genocide. All of you are their hope to get to safety.
Abdulsalams daughter Iman is only one year old and has lived most her life in a war zone. She is suffering from malnutrition. It’s every fathers worst nightmare to see their child starve and not be able to feed her. Please help him feed his daughter and get her to safety. No child should grow up hearing the sound of bombs. Every child has the right to food and safety. You can help give Iman the childhood she should have, where she can sleep in a safe bed at night with a full stomach.
Their father Ahmed has cancer and needs surgery and medication. It is not possible to get the treatment he needs in Gaza. every day his illness is left untreated, the cancer will continue to spread through his body, so he very urgently needs money for treatment and travel. If you help them get to their goal, you are saving their fathers life. Don’t let this family who have already lost so much lose their father, husband, and grandfather
Nader has showed me pictures of this explosion close to them, thankfully they were able to get away. Every day they stay in Gaza their lives are at risk from israeli bombs. Every day and hour counts. I know there are compassionate and kind people who are willing to help. every euro helps, YOUR donation will bring them one moment closer to safety. With love and hope I’m asking you to give what you can, I believe in the kind people of the world and I beg you to not let them die. If you can’t donate, please share so it may reach people who can.

MINHO APPRECIATION WEEK - day 2 - favourite relationship
❝ it hit thomas that minho had known newt for two years longer than he had. so much more time to g r o w close. ❞
"Hazel is so underrated" "Jason is so underrated" Y'know who actually is underrated? FRANK. ZHANG. He was one of the main pov's in THREE of the HoO books (SoN, MoA, HoH) and yet I never see anyone talk about him (Even in the series he's so underrated, like I think the only people that acknowledged that he's powerful asf is Jason and Percy)
I am Fatuma Ali,I had been diagnosed with Latent Autoimmune Diabetes at a tender age, a condition that demanded a delicate balance of insulin, a commodity scarce in Khan Yunis, Gaza.
As conflict raged around me, have struggled to find the insulin I desperately needed to survive. With medical supplies scarce and hospitals overwhelmed, obtaining medication became a daily battle fraught with danger.
One day, as the bombs fell closer to Gaza tents,my insulin supply ran out completely. With no pharmacies open and no aid reaching my area, I faced a life-threatening dilemma. Without insulin, my blood sugar levels soared, threatening to send me into a coma.I I'm here begging for your support to help me get insulin.Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact in my life. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and am grateful for any support you can extend during this challenging time.
I have managed to receive $197/$365. Kindly help me reach my goal please 🖤
I hate the way that you walk, the way that you talk I hate the way that you dress

had to be done 🤷
Minho's ears turn red when he's embarrassed or flustered. Or just when too many people look at him.
He likes to flaunt this boyish, carefree, cocky personality, but his ears never lie.
Everyone collectively agreed not to tell him. Minho could never understand why sometimes, during an argument or a Meeting, the Gladers would smirk and giggle.
It was the longest kept secret throughout the Glade, only getting out when Alby told him to "shut up and stop acting like you're so confident when your ears are redder than the roses Zart grows" during a Keeper Meeting
For a brief time, Minho actually grew his hair out just to cover his ears. But it kept getting in his eyes when he ran, so he eventually cut it and went back to his usual style.
Newt calls his ears his tail - same way a dog tail wags when it's excited, his ears go bright red when more than 3 people look at him
It went on like that until one day, during a meeting, Newt (Alby was busy chasing down a cow with Winston and Newt was his stand-in) told Minho to, "Shut up, you shuck puppy."
They got in a bit of a fistfight, and Minho landed a solid punch to Newt's shoulder, but by that point it was too late.
Puppy became the only thing Gladers would call Minho for about two weeks (until Minho punched someone square in the face for it). It's still the only thing you can say to Minho where he won't have anything smart or snarky to quip back with. His ears just go red and he looks away.
(Newt teaches it to Thomas once they get to Safe Haven)
So, get a little ahead on "What in hell is bad?" and from all the avalanche of information, The only thing I paid attention to is that Minhyeok is in a way the 'mom friend'
"I'm a Jason apologist"
WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO APOLOGISE FOR????? WHEN HAS HE EVER DONE WRONG????
Are we ever going to address the fact Ojiro Mashirao defended himself alone at the USJ? Are we ever going to address the fact Ojiro, a mutant with a mutant quirk that contains fur, was displaced in the fire rescue area and probably overheated? Are we ever going to address the fact Ojiro fought in a place constantly burning with falling debris in only a martial arts gi while he had to dodge attacks in a smokey fog? Are we ever going to address the fact Ojiro survived that situation only to learn his other displaced classmates got at least one other person to fight through it with (even though Todoroki did not realize it, Hagakure was there with him)? Are we ever going to address the fact Ojiro would, realistically, have to some degree pyrophobia?
