The real mysterious island was the friends we made along the way
It was never about the polar bears
It was never about the hatch or the dharma or even the others
These things were great and without them the show wouldn’t have been the same but it’s all fluff
At the end of the day all the show was about was each other
Our relationships and their fallouts
Our meetings, and our passing bys
Our constants, and our variables
Really what lost was about can be summed up in this sequence
sayid throws sawyer a mango
Despite sawyer being... well sawyer
Sayid throws him a mango
Boone fixes Shannon’s sunglasses
Jin watchs over sun
And the tabula rasa is about being better-and how else to do that than with others
And that’s the reason the lost finale, and the whole show is perfect-because sayid, a torturer, throws a mango to the man who called him a terrorist
And then, even in death they are together, they all are
That’s what the shows about-that’s what the island gave us

People who use this as proof that Wayne wasn’t abusive towards her are so funny to me because not only do victims of abuse lie to protect their own dignity (especially when questioned by hostile individuals like the Marshal(l)), but Kate is literally a capital L Liar TM.
You expect me to believe Little Miss “I don’t know how to use a gun” x2, who poisoned Michael and then was like “I can’t believe you think I’d do that!” was telling the truth to Edward, who was not only being really annoying/antagonistic, but also had his own weird psychosexual obsession? No!
I mostly blame the writers for not only never really expanding on Kate’s relationships to Wayne and Edward, but also for not letting Kate be an unabashed liar more.
I feel like an integral part of Kate’s character is missed out on if you believe she was telling the truth when she told the Marshal that Wayne never touched her
The thing about Lost is that all of the men are so physically and aesthetically attractive, but their personalities are the most chemically revolting things shown on TV since Beverly Crusher fucked a ghost on Star Trek.
justice for Michael Dawson because everyone leaves him out of the hot Lost men conversation but I think he should be included
This is so aggressively 2004

what do you mean elon musk did a nazi salute on live tv at the united states presidential inauguration twice and is now erasing the evidence off the internet by replacing the footage with the crowd cheering instead?
would be a shame if people reblogged this, wouldn’t it?
/Unprovoked?/
"If you use em dash in your works, it makes them look AI generated. No real human uses em dash."
Imaging thinking actual human writers are Not Real because they use... professional writing in their works.
Imagine thinking millions of people who have been using em dash way before AI becomes a thing are all robots.
Shannon on the island
Well, yes.
I think Shannon Rutherford and Quinn Fabray would get along.
I'm trying to prove something.
Also, she’s been suffocated before, so the suffering is probably increased by the PTSD.
I hate the drowning scene at the ORTBO I feel so sick thinking of Hellyna going through it. Helly was so confused (first time outside, Irving is drowning her, she had just discovered she's an Eagan) but also Helena's last moments as Helly (the closest thing she's had to freedom) are getting waterboarded by the one person she thought could fill the void of paternal love she craves, because he had already done it with the other half of herself. Nobody comes to help her until she turns into Helly, Milchick hesitates even after she has given him a direct order in between getting drowned and she probably came back to being punished for this the same way Cobel used to punish Mark every time something went wrong in S1. And then she's told she has to go back to MDR.
