(And if it IS a screenshot of the next ep I wonder if they’re going to show a preview of the animation at Lvl Up Expo or how long until the ep comes out…last time Goose posted screenshots for upcoming eps it was still a month or more apart from the release date but I’m guessing we won’t be waiting too much longer, I’m still anticipating June)

So we've all been theorizing about Nevermore recently, but I think a big theme, especially in the backstories, is insanity, mental illness, and just generally being seen as unstable.

For example:

Lenore- Literally a mad woman, this one is obvious

Annabel- Panic attacks, hallucinations, and her biggest fear going mad

Prospero- "I'm not neurotic, I'm actually quite sane" and germophobia

Will- He was gay, which I'm pretty sure was seen as a mental illness in his time period (I'm also 99% certain Johnny killed him but that's a different rant)

Montresor- "You've had the devil in you since the day you were born"

Duke- ‼️FAST PASS SPOILERS‼️(this may be a stretch, but I mean Duke had someone who was untrained chuck knives at him, that's gotta make people think you're a BIT off) ‼️FAST PASS SPOILERS‼️

Eulalie- She's a paranormal girlie in a time where possession was still a common term, come on now

Pluto- probably had PTSD or some sort of something from his dad. He felt RELIEF when he died, there's no way he's entirely alright

We don't really know enough about Ada, Berenice, and Morella's backstories to say anything about them 🤷
