Sure, sometimes she felt unhappy with the way some of her makeup looked. Or she thought there was something off with her outfit, but she’d never felt anything worse than mild discontent.

She had felt like a disappointment, like a waste of space.

She had felt useless and weak.

Things Enid got her First Addams Christmas (of many):

Gomez is wearing a pink sweater, and no one comments, until Enid opens a matching one, he says "I thought we could hashtag twinning?"

Morticia gets her shears so she can help behead roses, next summer, which Enid doesn't understand at first. Because the idea a mother wants her around? What?

Pugsley gets her a mug that says "big sister." No she's not crying.

Maybe she is crying, when Wednesday says to follow her. And they walk up the two flights of stairs until they are in the wing that has Wednesday's room. She opens a door a bit farther than Wednesday's. Inside everything is painted pastel peach and pink. There's all new furniture in mint green and light blue. A speaker system. Wednesday hands Enid a simple box. She pulls out a small name plate "Enid's Room." "Mother says even if she is okay with us sharing, you deserve your own space, everyone does. Especially you." Later Enid learns a Wednesday hadn't been practicing cello when she disappeared in the afternoons, no, she had painted the room. Assembled the furniture. Built the stereos (which wow). And when Enid had switched the lights off after unpacking a bit that evening (she still preferred snuggling up to her gf at night—with the door open of course they were only 15) she saw a perfect night sky—complete with a full moon—glowing softly in her room.
