Follow Your Passion: A Seamless Tumblr Journey
December, please be gentle with me this year
The very thing that I was craving for, that one thing was the chain that was holding me back. Oh world, how cruel of you, you never gave me a hint... I had to go through all the pain to figure it out myself. Oh.... Oh world, the price I paid...
Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean, Tears from the depth of some divine despair Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes, In looking on the happy autumn-fields, And thinking of the days that are no more.

Hey there!
Ughh.... tomorrow is Monday :(
Sometimes I kinda wish the weekend was longer, but it is what it is I guess ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
But anyways, here Iโm going to list some random health/school (kinda) tips which I hope you find useful <3
1. Get enough sleep /this one is obv easier said than done, but itโs very important. Identify how many hours of does your body need, cause everyone is different, AND STICK TO A SCHEDULE/.
2. โDonโt prioritize your schedule, schedule your prioritiesโ /when organizing your week, keep in my things that may not be necessarily related to school/work, but that are related to self care, and plan around them/
3. Start studying a couple weeks in advance at least. /By doing this, you wonโt have to cram for an exam or pull an all-nighter (which goes against tip #1)/
4. Be patient with yourself. /you are not going to be able to work for 12 hours non stop everyday, it doesnโt work like that; and itโs ok. Donโt be too harsh on ursekf if you donโt get a lot done/
5. โNO DEJES PARA MAรANA LO QUE PUEDAS HACER HOYโ my mom always said this when I was younger, and it basically means DONโT PROCRASTINATE. Sometimes itโs gonna be hard, I mean we are humans, and itโs ok; but srsly ; stop scrolling through ur socials AND WORK! thank me later
6. Balance school life w ur personal life. This is something I have to really work on myself. Iโm very consistent with everything school related, but I donโt have a very โsocialโ life as sad or relatable ( I guess it depends ) as it sounds. I donโt rlly enjoy going out w friends, or things like that, but Iโve been trying to be more consistent w going to the gym ( which Iโve been enjoying quite a lot tbh ) You donโt have to go out everyday, but try to find something that keeps you motivated and happy, cause itโs key to finding balance and succeeding :)
Oh and the picture is a lil peak from my desk area, ft. my new cozy blanket. Have a great week!โจ๐
Hi there!
Iโm going to start posting on my Tumblr at least twice a week (Iโm starting off low, to see how I organize) :)
Howโs your week going? I hope that itโs going great, and of things are a little bit upside down; donโt worry. Thereโs absolutely nothing that time canโt heal <3
Here I bring you a little pic of my December favourites (I guess Iโm a little late oops ) /zebra mild liner โขcold colorsโข, tombow brush pen, muji stationery and Notion, an organization app (the rest is just for aesthetic reasons lol)
Well, thatโs it for today. Here Iโm going to leave a quote; to keep you inspired for the week and a little reminder โบ๏ธ
~ old ways wonโt open new doors ~
~ be present, focus on today, be kind, be grateful, make sure that your loved ones know that their loved, and most importantly; make sure that you know you love you โค๏ธ
The thing I find comically ironic is that The Secret History, dark academiaโs so calledย โbibleโ, is, to me, a cautionary tale againstย the whole idea of embodying the aesthetic. If you havenโt read it, hereโs your spoiler alert.
To me, the charactersโ fatal flaw is that theyโre so immersed in manifesting the aesthetic, so totally absorbed in living in this particular way that theyโve romanticised (unhealthy bits and all), they literally,ย albeit accidentally, kill a man. And instead of facing the consequences of their actions (brought about by their obsession with their lifestyle of mystery and studying greek by candle light), they go to extraordinary lengths to save their skin. which isnโt so inexplicable; they killed someone by accident and they really really donโt want to go to jail for it.
For the record, Iโm not hating on this aesthetic, as I know a lot of people genuinely enjoy it and find an important community in it. I just personally donโt think itโs entirely healthy to replace an aesthetic with your personality, and i find it ironic that Donna Tart literally said,ย romanticising life and replacing your rose coloured idea of the world with what itโs really like is dangerousโ, and then the internet did exactly that, with her book as the catalyst for it.
