The beast tamer could not suppress the scoff that emerged from the thought of his "Golden Sovereign" refusing to act, and that she continued to cling to a fallen kingdom. It has been years since the Dark Flour War has passed, and still she fears what can no longer threaten her. The kingdom he has pledged his undying loyalty to, is frozen in a certain period of time, neither evolving or devolving. He, too, is but a mere husk, a cheap imitation of what he once was. 

A figment of her imagination.

And that is the worst insult of all. He, the once great beast tamer of the Golden Cheese Kingdom, reduced to nothing but a mere soul, wandering the ruins of the fallen kingdom. How pathetic. Even the great Gate Guardian is but a soul and nothing more, his strength limited by the coward that insists on continuing this tasteless façade.

She is hopeless. Completely, utterly hopeless. And the mere fact that Mozzarella Cookie and Burnt Cheese Cookie continue to stand by her side and even encourage her delusions is nothing short of infuriating. If only he could get his hands on her soul jam, free everyone of this miserable charade. Yes... He could return this kingdom to its former glory, better it even. The people would be grateful of his deeds, they would all be free of Golden Cheese's delusions, they would no longer have to live as husks, and he would—

“I know that look.”

Curses. Of course someone had to interrupt his line of glorious thoughts. Who would dare to approach him in his private chambers? The Smoked Cheese Cookie? Who—?

“Your greed, Smoked Cheese Cookie, while great, requires its limits. You know what happened the last time you attempted to overthrow Her Radiance.”

Ah... Her. The only one who could, eh, calm him in this state. The only person who could understand his vision even if she disagreed with his ways of going about it. Perhaps that is why he loved and cherished her so, why he would forsake his duties to the kingdom without a second thought for her if she only commanded it. Yes, the love of his life.

"Yes, I remember it quite well, my jewel..." Smoked Cheese Cookie responds, eyeing his beloved from the side.

Ever the gleaming woman. Not even Her Radiance compares to the greatness that is his jewel—his treasure. He could feel himself getting lost in her visage. His eyes that were once filled with a barely contained rage were now calm, the fire in his eyes subdued for only a moment by the only one who could tame him by her mere presence.

“My, you never cease your admiration. Am I truly a sight to behold?” she chuckled into his ear so suddenly.

He had not noticed her move from her spot. Smoked Cheese Cookie was so enthralled by her, so enchanted, that he never once took notice of her walking towards him. She never ceased to amaze him. It is as if he is a beast and she is his tamer. And he is more than willing to comply.

He turned around to face her, feeling his simmering rage die down fully, if only for the time being. “You are more radiant than Golden Cheese Cookie herself, my jewel. You are more radiant than this entire golden kingdom and any jewels or treasures in this cruel world,” he murmured, hand raising to cup her cheek. She smiled at his gesture, her own hand coming up to overlap his before she spoke, her voice soothing the last remnants of his frustration and snuffing out the flames of his fury.

“You tell me that often.”

“For it is true.”

She hummed in response to his words, staring deeply into his eyes, her smile never fading. Pathetic as this façade was, seeing her made it... bearable. She made it bearable. She always did and that is why he would never let her go. He refuses to. Not like how...

No. The war is over. It is no more. All that remained was him and her, alone in his private quarters, her lips closing the distance between his, and then, her taste. His grip on his staff faded, the staff falling to the pristine floor as the hand that held it reached up for her face to pull her closer. She, too, grasped onto him, arms wrapping around his slender but toned waist, pulling him closer.

Her touch was intoxicating, like the finest cheese from the richest cheese fondue. He was losing himself in that richness, his hands roaming her body, and slipping beneath her robes. His hands roamed her body gracefully, his touch filled with need and frustration.

Perhaps this façade isn't so bad after all if it meant having her like this. Perhaps this façade isn't bad at all if it meant having her…

The cookie went outside a d run keeping going until it's stopped going to the deep woods, but different place...

"Where am I?" She say stopped running and getting some air in and out. By the time they're gone, she continue walking. Seeing around the woods and some creatures.

She step the stick a d hear some like... Bell.

"Who there! , show yourself?!!? " someone say, ready to the fight, and at the time she step out of the shadow she seen the cookie, but have wings and different. "Oh, I'm sorry" he say, shock and surprise after he knows that not the monster or a beast.

"I thought you one of them as the beasts of there own soul gem or everyone!?, I'm sorry this is too much for you? "

"No no, not at all and sorry to scare you from the woods, I was running away from the witches that trying to eat me, so I just use my spell" she say, telling him her short storie from escape by the witches by the time they clam down.

"I understand that now, so that why your here right? I mean it's make sense of you running here in this woods, and by the way my name is silverbell cookie! What's your name? " he say and ask her name.

"My name is... Rose.. Cookie. My name is Rose cookie! " say her new name for herself now and silverbell cookie was happy to met her now.

Really happy to know that people like my writing and wants to know more, and about the question, at the beginning after posting about gingerbrave team, I was going to write post focusing solo on pure vanilla but because of some personal reasons I was too busy with my life in general to write something and now 7-8 chapters of beast yeast is out and I will have to remake and rethink some aspects of this au (yes now this is a full au) which I can’t promise to you or myself that it will be soon, but this comment had made my brain go if full speed mode so I will make a short summary on ancients(-white lily since she is a big spoiler).

The beast one will be a part of a lore that I still need to work on so they will not be here sorry :(.

Pure vanilla cookie - originally pure vanilla cookie wasn't sure what to think of you, no really witch-like creature about whom nothing is known? Doesn't bring trust at all, but quite an old cookie by nature tries to see better in situations and cookies next to him (he was literally tortured by Shadow milk cookie and he STILL wanted to be his friend) that's why he was the first one (almost, well holly berry cookie met backer after pure vanilla so) to be nice to you among the ancients.

He wanted to understand you. why are you here? why did you start helping cookie kind? why now?Why a group of children?

But he trusts you more than all the other ancients and even considers you his close (almost too close) friend and comrade, he sincerely trusts you and always glad to see you whenever you visit the vanilla kingdom, he likes to tell you stories and interesting things about their world when you do visit.

He doesn't mind that you guide gingerbrave and his friends after all these little children are close to pure vanilla cookie and he is sincerely glad that there is someone in the world who can protect and help them in case of need.

He knows that he can count on you.

HollyBerry cookie - her opinion on you is almost as good as pure vanilla’s if not the same ! Really and how can it not be when your very first meeting was in the battle against the greenish red dragon.

Sure you appreciate might be little bit unsettling since you do look very much like a witch and you silent presence can be uncomfortable but you known to be doing only good things for your kingdom and cookie of it.

What harm in that , that is basically what she and her friends are doing.

She quiet found of your company and frankly it would probably be interesting to stay and spend time together more, but an cookie like her just can’t be on one place for too long she needs adventure she need the trill of free life! And that’s were your paths are going separate.

Tho she is always happy to see you and your little friends whenever you paths do cross again.

Maybe she should come visit your kingdom at least once, she heard a lot of good things about that place and would be happy to see it with her own eyes….

Dark cacao cookie -oh how many problems you had with this one.

From all ancients he was the second hardest cookie to befriend the only reason why he’s not the first one is because white lily cookie still doesn’t trust you.

Firstly he was threatened by you, like for him it’s already hard enough to trust an ordinary cookie, always expecting betrayal.

And the situation with the living void ? Yea let’s say his first impression of you was far from good.

The outlanders themself were a problem and they brought some type of beast with them?!?!? HOW DARE THEY AND YOU TO SHOW UP HERE!! He was full determent to make all of you regret that decision.

And then the battle with living void happened and short after he had lost control and become a monster by himself. It was truly nice to know that he was okay and that same outlanders that he thought were here for trouble were the one who helped his friend in need.

And after that moment his trust in you and the group of children started to build up.

Your not his friend (not yet) but you are his ally and with every single battle you hade supported him in , his view on you became more positive

Golden cheese - her view on you and relationship in general very similar to dark cacao.

At the beginning she did not like you at all , she had her own virtual kingdom with all her trespassers and no place for outside things.

Then you and outlanders showed up , you fought, firstly against each other then together against smoked cheese cookie.

She find out you from pure vanilla and etc.

Just unlike Dark cacao she dose consider you a friend, gained witch like creature a friend, friend that she quite found of.

My-my, And how can she not ? You are very interesting as a ally as a person as a possible new treasurer of hers.

I mean she already considers her ancient friend, her people, even animals in her kingdom her treasures

Capsaicin Cookie groans as he stretches his muscles, sweat dripping from his forehead. His bare chest was glistening with sweat, a sign that he’d been training for the upcoming Triple Cone Cup event. He was selected as Scovillia’s champion once again, so of course he had to endure the most laborious of training in order to become the strongest! Huffing a sigh, he reaches for a towel to wipe the sweat from his face.

Deciding to take a quick break to regain energy, he collapses onto a nearby bench, the sun painting his sweat covered skin in a bright light. He closes his eyes, allowing himself to bask in the sunlight for a few moments before he returns to his arduous training. After a few moments, he begins to carefully wipe his face, almost ready to get back to training, when he’s suddenly startled by a knock at the door.

“Hun? You alright in there? Can I come in?”

Capsaicin’s ears perk at the sound of your muffled yet gentle voice. A voice that was so indescribably serene and mellifluous. His face brightens as a giddy feeling bubbles inside him. Your appearance at his training session was certainly unexpected, but it was most definitely something welcome.

“Yeah! Come in!” He shouts back at you, perhaps a bit too much excitement creeping into his voice.

The door slowly creaked open, and he watched as you hesitantly peek in for a brief moment. Your eyes meet, and you can see a bright sparkle in his eyes. Pushing the door open, you flash a smile and wave at him, a small bottle of water held in one of your hands.

“How’s your training going?” You ask him as you sit next to him, “I hope you’re not pushing yourself too hard.”

Nodding with a smile at your reply, he takes the water bottle from your hands, thanking you before swiftly chugging its contents. Droplets of water dribble down his chin and onto his chest.

“Haa! Thanks for that, baby!” He tosses the water bottle back to you, wiping his face. He stands, stretching for a brief moment before turning to address you once more, “I’m gonna keep going. Thanks for being here!”

Capsaicin’s bright smile is blinding, and you can’t help but smile back at him. Giggling, you decide to stay and watch him train. What was the harm in it? You couldn’t just come in and immediately leave. Sitting back on the bench, you watch as he continues to train vigorously, the sun hitting him perfectly, almost making him look majestic. Smiling at the thought, your eyes begin to wander a bit.

Your eyes first land on his toned chest for a brief moment, but you immediately reprimand yourself and shift your gaze. Face flushed, your eyes stop at his wrists. An involuntary hum escapes your lips.

“Hey, you took your cuffs off?”

“Huh?”

He stops and turns to you, his face twisted into an expression of confusion.

“Your cuffs.”

You signal at his wrists, which are in fact missing the cuffs that he so often wore. Capsaicin coughs for a moment, averting his eyes as he rubbed his wrist sheepishly.

“Oh, uh, yeah! I- uh, didn’t want them to get in the way. Sorry.”

You narrow your eyes. “What are you apologizing for?”

He flushes slightly. “My scars are a little unsightly-”

“I think your scars look cool.”

Capsaicin pauses. His face remains unmoving, and it’s almost like you can hear the gears turning in his head. “Huh? What?” His embarrassment rises further when he sees you giggle at him.

You stand, walking over to his much taller form. When you stop in front of him, he gulps quietly. He watches as you hold your hand out, and say to him, almost in a whisper, “Can you give me your hand?”

Without words, he hesitantly puts his hand on yours. His heart flutters at the sight of you gently wrapping your much smaller hands in his. You carefully intertwine your fingers with his, suppressing a smile as you watch him stare at your hands in awe.

“Your scars aren’t ugly, okay? Listen to me.” Your stern but soft tone surprises him, and he stiffens. “Don’t be ashamed of your scars, hun. They aren’t ugly or unsightly. They make you look tough! You’re strong, because of your scars, love. There’s nothing wrong with it. I still love you all the same, hm? I’m never going to think less of you just because you’ve got scars.”

He swallows. The words get caught in his throat, but you don’t mind. Your thumb lightly brushes over his healed scars, and he shudders. Your touch was so gentle, so loving. Capsaicin selfishly wanted more of it.

“Sorry, does that hurt?” You quietly ask.

He gives you no verbal response, only shaking his head quietly.

A smile forms on your lips as you land a small kiss on his knuckles. “Then remember what I said, okay?”

His face heats up, hotter than any of the lava he’d ever created. Tears gather in his eyes, but he refuses to let them fall. He simply mutters to you, “…Thank you.”

“Of course, hun. How about you take another break? I know you just did, but I think you deserve this. We can go out to your favorite restaurant.” You offer, sending him another sweet smile. His stomach flips at the sight.

He doesn’t reply to you. Instead, he stares at you expectantly. “…Can I have another kiss?” He asks, nervously gesturing towards his cheek.

You playfully snort, lightly punching his shoulder. “Not when you’re this sweaty, you dork.”

Finally, he laughs the boisterous laugh you so desperately wanted to hear. He flexes his muscles, mostly in an attempt to show off to you. It works. You giggle at his antics.

“I am pretty tough though, aren’t I?” He tries to sound confident, but there's a slight hint of uncertainty in his voice. He slings his arm over your shoulder, his signature toothy grin present. He looks over at you, eyes bright, but you can see right through him.

“Of course you are.” You assure him, gently kissing his wrist. He tenses, but doesn’t pull away. Instead, he pulls you closer, and you giggle as he plants a kiss on your temple. When he pulls back, his grin is still shining bright.

“Thanks for the offer though, babe! But I've gotta get some more training done! I’ve gotta win this cup!” He releases you, stretching his arm. “You being here is enough to encourage me to keep going! I’ll win this for us, hun! I promise you, I'll bring back the trophy! A-And we can have a nice date afterwards!!”

You let out a hearty laugh, and his heart jumps in joy. “If you insist, tough guy! You better keep your word, though!”

“I will, that's a promise!” He laughs loudly, his face holding a large amount of love and admiration for you. He wasn’t going to let his past hold him back again. For you, and even his friends at the other schools, he’ll keep moving forward. With a newfound determination, the fire in him blazes to life. He takes a stance.

He's not about to back away from a promise now.

i just see myself patching up his wounds, going "didn't i tell you this would happen? you silly goof." as he just mumbles in frustration but is blushing ever so slightly.

• Or you can bribe them with kisses. That also works wonders.

• Speaking of kisses, they love them. They won’t admit it, but they love it when you pepper their face with kisses.

• Hollyberry once caught them being all soft and mushy with you, and she has never let them live it down.

• Seeing the Red Dragon clinging to you like a teddy bear was almost like a punch in the face. She almost thought she wasn’t seeing things correctly.

• Though her shock was quickly overridden by amusement. Her amusement was further amplified as Pitaya sprang up, face burning in embarrassment and humiliation, and hissed at her.

• You were almost sure a fight would have broken out between the two, as you watched Pitaya Dragon pull out their sword. The dragon only reluctantly stood down when you patted their shoulder.

• Hollyberry later asked you about them in private. She was surprised you were able to become so close to the dragon. She even invited the two of you out to drink some berry juice!

• Of course, Pitaya flat out declined her invitation, too embarrassed to face her again.

• They like to have you close to them at all times. Whether it be to protect you from danger, or to just have you close to admire you.

• In addition to this, they will step in front of you when faced with anyone who dares to challenge the dragon, or even worse, someone who dares to take their treasures from them.

• Out of all the treasures they possess, you are the only one they would risk their life and limb for.

• Is very possessive. Holds you close to them when in the presence of the other dragons. Glares at them when they stare for too long.

• It’s not like the dragons want to steal you away. They’re mostly looking at Pitaya for their odd behavior.

• When they get injured by some brave warrior, they will hesitantly limp to you and have you patch them up.

• They have to sit through your gentle lecture while you patch up their bloody wounds. Of course, they’re rewarded with kisses afterwards.

• Purrs like a cat, but their tail wags like a dog. Get ready to see a lot of that when giving them physical affection.

• All in all, they love you very very much. They love when you kiss and hug and cuddle them, but they would never let anyone else see that side of them except for you.

• You are their most precious treasure, and they will continue to treat you as such.

- how could he not ? he thinks of you as a divine god that simply roams around dragon city, and for him to successfully pull you ? He feels so complete !

- adding along to this, this cookie greatly enjoys classic, romantic gestures. He will not be embarrassed to remove his coat, covering the very obvious puddle, and assisting you to walk over it, all the while looking at you with such love, one that you could only ever see in romance movies, and could only ever be described in poetic novels

- before becoming his partner though, you need to be approved by buttercream first ! He feels that it is dictation that it's not only him who has trust and love for you. If you want to be his, make sure to give as much love to his beloved dragon ( wyvern ) as you do for him ( he won't admit the fact he gets quite jealous of her sometimes .. )

- he most definitely enjoys a partner that can beat him up if they wanted to, but also a cookie that's sweet, who's willing to embrace his affections ! If you travel with him on the way to dragon's valley, buttercream can sense the sickeningly lovestruck heart eyes he gives your way as you fight, supporting you from above.

- although, he does not mind a partner that relies on him aswell ! in fact, it gives him a very massive ego boost. Of course he wouldn't mind in becoming your knight in shining armor ! Saving his significant other from any form of danger ! ( even if, in most cases, they aren't really harmful )

- " do not worry darling ! THE dragon rider has arrived to rescue you ! " and it's simply trivial things such as taking you away in unpleasant conversations, carrying you bridal style. He will be quite amused to see your embarassed face

- on a more serious side, whether you can fend for yourself or not, he is willing to sacrifice limb and body just for you to be alive, breathing, safe, who is still there with him. You had promised him you would stay until his very last crumb, he isn't willing to give up on that so easily.

- and as his partner, soaring through the sky or even going on lovely walks with buttercream is an everyday date ! ( he is a firm believer that a day is incomplete without a small date with you ! ), most of the time visiting the bar for a drink or two afterwards ( typically more than just two anyways .. ). Be sure to prepare yourself to bring him home, as he's too busy being a flirt with you than to think about resting up !

- alongside this, it's typically difficult to achieve privacy when he has a swarm of fans behind his tail, he tries his very best to make it up to you at the end of the day ~

- everyone can see how hopelessly in love royal margarine cookie is with you. The second longer glances he gives your way and the oh-so enchanting eyes of his that stares at you with such love and affection ! All his fans simply dream of being you !

- behind all of this though, he definitely has a softer side indoors ! He is reduced to nothing but a smitten man, clingy for his lover. Please give him hugs and kisses ! He feels himself falling harder for you every time you praise him

- the cookie feels as if you're too out of his league, and dreads the thought of you finding out his true identity, the actual weak and cowardice royal margarine cookie. Would you leave him if you had found out ? He would leave himself too

- now with royal margarine, he's insistent of you opening up to him, whether that be negative or positive. He thinks that it is a strengthening bond to open up and learn more about eachother !

- but because of his inner thoughts, he isn't as willing to open up about his feelings, maybe never opening up at all. The only way he'll ever open up to you is when he's drunk (which makes him feel lower most of the time), he feels like a weak cookie if he ever tries opening up while sober. He dislikes being a weak and simple cookie than his persona tells him to be

- nonetheless, coward or confident, you continued to love and adore the cookie you chose to be with, and royal margarine cookie feels happier than succeeding his goal in becoming a true dragon rider. The cookie did not care if he could never pursue his goal, you and buttercream can never replace, nor can it ever compare the happiness that you both give him !
