Something that I forget to do often

Okay look: I forget to eat breakfast/lunch half the time okay?

I would casually do something (games, drawing, music, tv) and then not feel hungry until I step into the damn kitchen and see food

It happens often for breakfast and lunch and you’d think I’d become hungry and feel it, I don’t feel hungry nor think about food until it comes to mind and I go: oh, I forget to eat cereal

It’s not too serious for me considering that I have that “I can always snack on something anyways” mindset and I never skip dinner because it’s always with family

I often forget to eat lunch at school (especially in college like there is no set lunch time, I just snack in between classes) so I often bring cup noodles in case because I would forget to eat it and if I don’t end up eating the noodles then I always have the next day as compared to sandwiches (homemade ones).

I don’t have body issues and I don’t not like eating, I just forget to eat yk

Is there a name for this thing where you casually forget to eat a meal and it’s on accident and not on purpose?
