I have no idea whatsoever if Vulcans would be able to actually smell pheromones, I just like the idea that some human crew members decide to see if those pheromone perfume things really work and so they put some on and obviously can’t smell anything so it’s a disappointment, but they still decide to leave it on for the day. Flash cut to the Vulcan crew members on board freaking the fuck out thinking they’re going into an early and unexpected Pon Farr because they want to absolutely devour every human that passes by them.
Day 40: I just watched some more star trek content and I have 4 things to say (mostly about Spock) .
1. Where is Spocks eyeshadow in the Kelvin Timeline and in SNW?
2. AOS's Uhura x Spock Was already bad but really, Nurse Chalpel??? SNW, you can do better.
Those two never had any chemistry and constantly setting Spock up with people even though he is VULCAN (making him go against his entire prerogative/ way of living) is not good.
It's my personal opinion but Spock never really showed interest in any person unless under the influence of drugs and I like him that way, don't use romance foe "plot" it just ruins the characters.
3. Damn the Le-matya look insanely cool, even if they are somewhat evil.
4. That one scene in TOS where Amanda casually reveals the fact that Spock had a living, breathing teddy bear as a pet when he was a child will never not be funny to me
The snw body swap episode definitely had a little bit of that ridiculousness I’ve been missing from most new star trek, I hope they do more of it
him fumbling T'pring and being so flippant about it was all the proof I needed to know he was gay
No offense to Spock but if my WIFE was T'pring I wouldn't have fumbled her that badly, I would be fucking LOCKED in dude. We would've gotten married right after she proposed, we're having a shotgun wedding, I'm quiting starfleet to follow my beautiful wife T'pring back to Vulcan, I'll be her perfect husband. I'll cook, I'll clean, I'll even tolerate her shit ass mother, I'll never show any emotions. C'mon T'pring marry me instead, fuck that loser Spock.

Yes, the “We can’t just not look, can we?” scene in Those Old Scientists is hilarious but imagine the Department of Temporal Investigations began to refer to that as the “Boimler Maneuver” or alternatively the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”.
Because that’s very much what it is. It’s an entire room full of people standing in a corner of the room, trying not to look, while you do your business. It just so happens that that business is utilizing methods and technology from the future
It would be very on brand for Boimler that when he finally gets a maneuver named after him it’s also called the “Shy Pisser Maneuver”, forever branding him a shy pee’er regardless of whether he is one or not.

Another more serious note on this week's SNW episode. I KNEW this shit was going to happen when La'an saw Jim. They are going to keep hurting her until she leaves the Enterprise. I mean Jim is going to be captain. I couldn't be there either. As for Blondie and the Adulterer, shame on them both. Spock got his just desserts for cheating on T'Pring and Christine's inevitable pining for him is also her comeuppance. Like HOW are you going to steal another woman's man and then say IF I HAVE TO LEAVE YOU SO BE IT. Like bitch, wtf is wrong with you? You really go through all that just to not take the relationship seriously? TALK to him about this, be like "yeah I'm leaving but I will contact you the whole three months I am there, I will be back soon. I love you" SOMETHING! They are both the most emotionally immature assholes I have ever seen in my life. When they were playing chess and she was deflecting, I FUCKING KNEEEEWW that she was not going to be serious in committing and that this whole "relationship" was going to come crashing down because both are so annoyingly afraid of their own feelings. I just-ARGH!

OMFG, the way I blushed when I heard Spock start singing omg, I thought after him cheating on T'Pring my crush was pretty much over. My heart doing flipflops and the butterflies in my stomach say differently though. Everyone sang so beautifully, and the songs had amazing tunes!
Yooooo Amanda is a milf in this episode, respectfully 🤤 I am so glad Spock is now aware of everything she had to go through for him and for Sarek.
That being said, T'Pring continues to be awesome and wants to be with Spock despite her parents. Her mom is a whole bitch and her dad is a spineless man. If someone talked to MY mother like T'Pril does about Amanda, I would flip my whole shit. Pike's face when T'Pril began roasting Spock had me laughing for 5 minutes straight XD He deserves it though, I have never been more disappointed in him. He really out here cheating on T'Pring with Chapel. Damn. T'Pril is right, he does not deserve T'Pring.
I'm going to get some push back on this, but this episode was very blah. Nobody had any chance to shine, and it felt very rushed. I also thought this was an Ortegas centered episode. She was barely in it, only towards the end. Also, I wish they would stop bringing Batel into episodes, I don't know if it's the writing or the actress, but this character gets on my last nerve when she is on screen. She's so boring and adds nothing. The overall message was ok, but I am not too happy with this one.
Watching La'an and Jim argue for an hour like an old married couple had me guffawing. Paul has most definitely grown as Jim. He's funny, charming, and a little arrogant. That smooch though 😘 Also, the fact that they made little Khan ACTUALLY INDIAN, makes my poc heart pitter patter. Poor La'an :( Can't wait til the next episode, hoping it focuses on Erica this time.
reminiscing about SNW hijinks, it's amazing that in real life I am demisexual AF, but when it comes to this crew I would be a massive whore. Would literally bust ass at Starfleet Academy to get onto the Enterprise for d*ck.

My literal first thought when Spock said he was Number One. I don't like this already. Jim Kirk is here, don't care though. Hopefully he doesn't become a central character next season. I still want this to be a Pike show. Onto what is really important, I can't believe Una was convicted :( That's some bigoted bullshit, I wonder who ratted her out (Side note, I know it's your job but Batel you bitch) That one Romulan captain is the GOAT. Goes to show there is always one good one in any species. We hope to see more of you in the future. Scotty!! I heard a Scottish accent. Wait... SPOOOOCCK no, please no I am literally having a panic attack. Ok he's better. That father and son ending between Spock and Pike is adorable. Glad to see Chris come to terms with his future, hopefully. aaaandd of course they fuck it up right at the end. Una baby we got your back. This Pike WILL NOT leave you on that penal colony, or I will have a conniption fit. This episode jerked my emotions all over the place, I cried, screamed, laughed for like half a second and then back to tears. This is Star Trek ladies and gentlemen. Hats off to a perfect first season. Until season 2, LLAP Enterprise crew🖖
