17 March (last day of classes)
This quarter has collectively brought out the best and and worst in me. From dealing with heart issues, to dealing with mental issues it hasn’t been a fun time.
I had hopes of getting straight A’s, but ultimately I find myself once again looking just to get through it without failing (read: anything less than a B+). The burnout has been real and very hard to with but, I persevered.
It’s ok just to get through the quarter...
I love y’all ✌🏿
15 March (linear algebra study session)
Today was rough, I was constantly fighting tooth and nail to study, and ultimately didn’t get much done. As much as I love being neurodivergent, it definitely has its drawbacks. However I am going to be headed back to the doctor soon to try and help with my focus.
Just because someone looks alright doesn’t mean that they are conversely, don’t assume that people who don’t look the best are struggling.
I love all of you beautiful creatures

8 March (Calc 3: Test Day)
You know, taking notes by asking questions really has improved my memory retention. I find myself getting the problems correct because I actually understand the process of what is happening not just the system that gets me to where I need to be.
If you haven’t feed yourself or hydrated please do that, every bit helps
Stay up ✌🏿

Question for the masses.
What is your note taking method, and how effective do you find it to be?
I’m honestly kind of digging the silver tone.
Today I studied:
Calc 3
Linear Algebra
And Physics 🙃 (sometimes I can’t stand this field, but I shall persevere)
Also, does anyone have any tips on HOW to study? It’s new to me 😔

Exam season is officially over for me!
I started studying during the year, trying to stay afloat (towards the end it was a bit too much too soon for me), and when exam season started i tried to be kind to myself.
I never gave up reading fantasy books, watching sports, going out with friends; if i got home late at night, tired after a day of studying out, i just went to bed, even though i could've forced some more studying.
It felt like i could've pushed more, spent more time going over the courses, but it was enough - i prioritized myself, avoided burnout, made studying more enjoyable and it all paid off.
This is me temporarily signing off
- a student who passed all of her exams with flying colors
You can do this too.
And at the end of the day... What matters most is if you felt alive
What is the point of high grades if you went days in a row without feeling the sun on your skin, without hearing the birds and without smelling a flower?
Studying is important. Being prepared for your future is important.
But living is even more so.
Don't forget to cherish the small joys of life
1/6 exams to go
We're all just humans
And to be human means to make mistakes.
And that's perfectly ok.
Learning to embrace making mistakes means learning to love yourself a little bit more (and at the end of the day, that's what really matters)
2/6 exams to go
Taking breaks is essential to a productive study session
Take a break. You'll waste more time trying to process information with a tired brain than you'd "waste" taking a brain to clear you mind and help the information settle.
After an exam, I've always found it hard to get right back into studying, even if it's for another course (maybe even worse when doing a big switch between unrelated courses).
I have a golden rule of not studying during exam days - not before the exam (it only makes me more anxious and less focused) and not after the exam (brain is mush at that point).
3/6 exams to go
I highly recommend it.
To conquer the world you still have to go step by step about it
This past year i found that no matter how great the challenge, it helps me immensely to stay calm (ignore my panic) and just start working towards my goals systematically.
Starting is the hardest part.
4/6 exams to go
Exam season is all about balance.
Study too much, you burn out
Study too little, you won't enjoy the results
So, here's my recent attempt at balance.
6/6 exams to go
When the going gets tough… study, study harder📚✨.
Today’s studyblr is brought to you by DNA. I’m working on my forensic science class today and it’s fascinating. I really do love this class.
Kinda been into podcast lately. Keeping it together.

Iced coffee latte and current read. I kinda misplaced my retro coloured midliner highlighter somewhere at home.
Salted toffee latte (with oatmilk) and new book.
Semester break had ended, and it's the start of my final semester for Masters in Management! Always starting the day with coffee. The weather is hot and humid, hence the iced latte.
Finals had ended! I've visited an art exhibition in the uni, love the vibes. Also, being random I applied for International workshop and got shortlisted for online video interview (hopefully it went well but I didn't have any high hopes for it).
Life is still good despite the busy schedule, chasing dreams and finals.
morning coffee and study session with friends.
