Hey OneShot fandom just me with music rambles.
“In Memory” and “The Author” are the same song, actually. The Author is played on acoustic guitar and In Memory is played on piano.
In fact, all the songs that are related to The Author and his children are all played with a guitar.
The Author, Rue, Aviator, and Vestige all have a guitar as their main instruments.
Just something I found interesting.
Kallamar from Cult of the Lamb got a Vasectomy!!
And now, Vault boy wallpaper that I made for myself
He’s so handsome I love him
"Toriel is so bad Asgore is innocent! Asgore is so bad Toriel is innocent blah blah blah-" SHUT UP THEY BOTH MADE A DECISION BASED ON IMPULSE AND GRIEF AND COPED HORRIBLY WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BOTH EMPATHIZE WITH THEN AND QUESTION THEIR ACTIONS!
THEY ARE FIGHT AND FLEE! (And Asriel is Spare)
Yknow after doing chores and overthinking OneShot again I could easily say that TWM having a breakdown strong enough to almost destroy themselves because of their obsession of keeping Niko safe could be a metaphor for getting obsessed with someone out of idealization to such an unhealthy degree that any sense of conflict with them causes one to break down (of course all of this being the product of some sort of trauma)
It's why I don't like the idea/characterization that TWM is obsessed with Niko after Solstice because it wouldn't make sense. TWM is healing and thus has no need to have an unhealthy attachment
Homestuck has their trollsonas, Madness Combat has Hanksonas, I propose OneShot have WM-sonas.
It’s 2Pm and I’ve only been awake for an hour agaha
My hottest take regarding OS is that TWM was handled pretty poorly and that their arc of realizing they aren't a tool or simple robot was disrespected by the narrative as they're only really used as a tool to further Niko's story and character along and for sad ending scenes, the character that's whole arc about learning they aren't a tool is only treated as a tool by the game's story.
Speak your truth edgy queen.
I post for an imaginary audience and fucking LOVE OneShot and Inscryption.
