the best thing in MCL was that little demo game with Chinomimi, Nath and that elephant sculpture. I played it like. 20000 times a day, I loved it. I was ashamed that a game with such a title got my attention, I didn't dare to sign up at that time, but I went back every day to play that little demo

removing it was worse than removing the three LIs from HSL, change my mind

I... don’t really know what you mean as “prime MCL time”? but I guess HSL, since I know many people enjoyed that season the most

sadly, I wasn’t here around that time. I started playing in 2016 (I think? I don’t remember anymore), then stopped when UL aired (I got mad at losing Kentin, okay???? 😭). I only came back around a year ago and that’s when I really joined the fandom as well

I don’t know if this counts as “favourite memory”, but the expos and goodies (including the mangas) are something I really miss, even if I haven’t personally experienced them, they sound truly amazing! also, not an exact memory as well, but I 100% support the change of the art style (illustrations and sprites); they look much better this way

as much as I quit because of UL, I’m a bit sad that I wasn’t part of the fandom then, since I can still see so many posts from that time. amazing fanarts, fanfictions, the fans interacting with each other... it might be because there are less things from the HSL era on Tumblr, but for me it seems like the golden time of the fandom was during UL

I was still furious with Nathaniel. Our conversation, or rather, our breakfast little war, still fresh and bitter in my mouth.

It hadn't improved at all during the day, not when Cozy Bear had been full of lovebirds who clearly hadn't yelled at each other before stopping for a Mocha or milkshake. If anything, Valentine’s day moods had only aggravated my state of spirit.

So much that when I was going home, I was ready for the second round of our fight. I was actually anticipating have the chance to tell him everything stuck in my throat for weeks!

Angrily I opened the door of our apartment, expecting to find it empty, like always, he was never home by the time I normally came home, but this time, White hasn’t come to welcome me like usual.

Instead, before I could fully open the door, I was welcomed with a delicious smell of tomato sauce, oregano, and pasta, together with another subtle fragrance of something else. Immediately my eyes went for the kitchen’s island, finding it set for dinner with a huge bouquet of white and red roses on the side in a crystal vase with water.

A little gasp escaped from me, when I took it all in at once… what? A meowing brought my attention down to a White with a big red ribbon behind her head.

“What’s happening, White? Did you plan it all by yourself?” I couldn’t keep the grin away from my face when I went pet her head “You didn’t have to.” I told her, big blue eyes looking lovely at me.

“She didn’t, but I did have to.” I raised my head to see my boyfriend casually leading on the door frame of our room, dressed like he normally would on our night-ins.

“Your conscience finally had a good conversation with you?” The joke came out rude and dry, my grin dead on my lips.

“You can call Amber that.” Nathaniel shrugged, having the sense of showing some remorse. “She brought to my attention that’s just so much a woman can take…” He looked me in the eyes, golden liquid and burning eyes, “… in a relationship if she feels underappreciate and how you have been there for me in basically all my worst moments, without ever turning your back… always believing in me, even when I have done nothing to deserve your faith on me.”

Hands extended towards me, Nathaniel tentatively approached, probably testing whether I would grab the coat rack and try to hit him with it. But, I did no move to grab anything, I waited.

“I’m sorry.” When he saw the scorn on my face, he shook his head, “No, I really am sorry. I’m a ‘real pain in the ass’ and everything else you called me this morning.” Big and strong hands reached for mine “Things need to change. I want them to change.”

I sighed. It was exactly what I needed to hear from him. I let him gently pull me closer, our eyes still locked on one another.

“You better,” I told him, my arms going around his neck, my fingers playing with the back of his blonde hair. “Now, can you kiss me?”

Nathaniel gave me a handsome crooked grin, his stare going down and fixed on my mouth.

“When you ask me like that so nicely…”

I slapped him lightly in the shoulder, making that cocky jerk laugh. Our lips met need and longing pouring from both of us, in a passionate and brusque kiss. Hands going mad with pulling, grabbing, and sliding between our bodies, impatient to give a proper ending to yet another fight. I wasn’t expecting no more fights. When you’re in a relationship, fights came in with the package.

However, I wanted to believe in him once more, I wanted to believe in us. Because I knew what was like to be apart, the void, the grief… and before going through it all again, I rather make sure to exhaust all possibilities before I live for the rest of my life being haunted by the ghost of “what could have been if only…”.

That’s why, when he pulled away, his strong arms tight around me, holding me close like I was the most precious treasure in his life, I couldn’t help but smile again “I love you.”

“I love.” Kiss in the nose, “love” between my eyebrows, “love, love, and love” more kisses scattered over in a few points of my face, just stopping when the only place he hasn’t kissed yet were my lips “I love you too.” Nathaniel said back, giving me the softest of the kisses and I believed in him.

So Dragonlance has a place deep in my heart. It was the first High Fantasy I ever read. And I know there are others that enjoy it too. So I decided to host this little event! Get some new content for us all to enjoy, maybe even make some new friends.

There is a blackout in the whole building and now we stumble through our apartment, trying to find some candles.

We all want to save the planet, but maybe starting with recycling is a more reasonable idea than showering with your roommate to save water.

Game night is a very important event in our apartment and we just keep finding new ways to compete with each other.

We decided to deep-clean and declutter our entire apartment, can’t be too embarrassing what we find, right?

The landlord still hasn’t repaired the heater in our apartment and we’re already wearing several layers of clothes, we need to find other ways to keep warm.

Accidently ending a phone call with your roommate with a casual ‘I love you’ seems like a very good reason to move out.

I have work in the morning and I can’t sleep while you’re making music next door, composing love songs for your secret crush.

With a bunch of roommates, the mornings can really turn into HBO’s hit show Game of Toilets.

My alarm is loud enough so you can hear it through the wall, so when I don’t want to get up, you come over to turn it off and drag me out of bed.

The snow storm makes it impossible to go outside, so let’s build a blanket fort and spend the day in there.

New Year’s Eve Prompts 🎆

Their friends dare them to kiss a stranger at midnight and they are just tipsy enough to actually do it.

The party was great but now it’s time to find their way home, in the middle of the night in the freezing cold in high heels and a party dress.

Learning other people’s weird New Year’s Eve tradition is always fascinating but not always fun. 

At first they thought it was the firework but then the knocks on the door became louder.

She never thought watching billions of Euros going up in colorful flames and loud noises could be this romantic.

They were so distracted, they even missed the clock striking midnight.

It’s the morning after a wild New Year’s Eve party and there are quite a few regrets.

Spending the New Year’s Eve on a boat and watching the fireworks go off on the shore is a once in a lifetime experience.

With the pandemic, New Year’s Eve parties have to be a little different this year.

It’s a couple minutes after midnight and there were already a couple resolutions broken.

When the new neighbor tests their firework a few days early, she wants to protest. But they are kinda cute.

I breathed in deeply, then let out a long sigh, my breath appearing in the cold air as clouds. I had been thinking on what to give Candy, what could possibly show her how much I love and appreciate her. I had the answer in my mind of course, but I also didn't want to do something so... cliché.

How many Christmas movies start with proposing?

But ever since we talked about having kids one day, I had been fantasizing about our family. Some years later, now, we will run in the snow with our child, or maybe children. I just know that she will be a perfect mother, and I hope to be the perfect father and husband.

If she says yes, of course.

A cup of coffee still in my hands, I anxiously waited for Candy to join me on the balcony. I didn't even know why I went there; maybe I just craved a bit of fresh air after all of those delicious scents in our flat. The coffee was starting to cool down, but I had only brought it with me to occupy my hands anyway. When I was about to turn and go in, I found myself face to face with her.

It was obvious that she felt more comfortable inside than outside, shivering a little in her shorts and cardigan that she bought specifically for Christmas. The chilly air must had taken its toll on her, as her cheeks were pink.

I realised I was lost in her looks, so I missed her question.

"Ah sorry, I... I wasn't listening." My cheeks reddened as well, but more because I felt embarrassed. She arched her eyebrows in a critical way, but then let out a light laugh.

"Don't worry, I just said that you can come in, I'm finished."

Entering the room was definitely pleasant, the welcoming warmth made me ease a little. I was about to propose to her, yes, but it's not like I don't perform before many people every day. It's just a simple engagement, nothing to worry about, right?

Candy stopped next to the table, picking up some sheets of paper I hadn't even noticed before.

"So umm.... I'll start, if you don't mind. I can't really wait with gifting others, sorry." She let out a nervous laugh, cleared her throat then started speaking. "I know that, given recent events, you don't really want to live or work here anymore. Which is fine! I just thought... well, I went looking for flats in the cities nearby the other day. I don't know if you like any of these and you don't even have to choose one today, just please take a look at these, okay? I respect your choice if you want to move away, but know that I will go with you no matter what."

Here she became quiet, giving me time to think. I didn't need to think more though, the fact that she planned our future together made me sure in my decision regarding the two of us.

I set the papers she gave to me on the table, kissed her slowly then lowered to one knee. At first she didn't understand what I was doing, but then her eyes went wide and she brought a hand to her mouth to hide her surprise.

"My dear Candy" I started slowly. I was convinced that I was on the right path, but I still didn't want to mess things up. "Would you do the honour of becoming my wife and making me the happiest man alive?"

I don't actually know how many people care about my writings (MCL, specifically), that's why I haven't made any kind of "Farewell Post" like I have seen many people do, but I still wanted to clear things in case someone does care

I won't leave the fandom and I definitely won't leave Tumblr / AO3 / Discord. I don't know yet if I will play / write for the new game - as promising as it sounds, I have always preferred fantasy / sci-fi over slice of life stuff - but I won't stop writing for MCL either. I'm at HSL in my main account, and episode 7 of LL in my secondary (without playing HSL or UL), so I still have plenty of gaming left. I have multiple one-shot and headcanon ideas at the moment, not to mention my two fanfictions; I'm nowhere close to leaving this game and fandom behind

I was actually tempted to stop writing for MCL and concentrate on ED and SE, I don't even know if anyone will read what I write (my audience has never been big, and I'm sure it will just be smaller now), but as long as there's even a little demand for MCL related writings, I'll be here
