Anyone else constantly on edge because we are in the final stages of late capitalism and these next couple of decades are gonna be make or break for the western world, and this just happens to coincide with the part of my life where I’m supposed to make something of myself :/

Yume Nikki: you love exploration, figuring out little details that may key in to something bigger. you might be mute. you are absolutely depressed. you probably have a ton of really old video games.

OFF: you wanted an actual rpg. came for the gameplay, stayed for the story. you might have made an elsen oc. you either want to hug zacharie or fuck him. theres no inbetween

Space Funeral:

Ib: you like puzzles. a lot. you probably get angry when people don't understand what the "deeper meaning" of a piece of art is. you, yourself, are at least decent at art. garry is your waifu.

Dreaming Mary: gameplay can go to hell for all you care. you like deep, complex stories. called undertale a piece of art for having more than one ending. you got really upset when penn guindel died.

Ao Oni: you have probably also played hetaoni. you are a master at escaping from bad situations. you either want to light the oni on fire or give him a big smooch.

The Crooked Man: you think jumpscares are real horror. you hate needing to go to certain spots to save. you've either mastered difficult boss battles or you win them thanks to luck. you probably like creepypasta.

.flow: you liked yume nikki and wanted to try out its edgy cousin. broke your computer's locale just to load this fucking game god i wish that were me

you know, if an adult is a nice person that’s not “innocence.” they learned how to actively be a good person. they’re not some eternal child

me: such incredible world building….. impeccable level design…… the cinnamon tography……..

please make sure that wherever you’re at in life, you don’t treat it like a transitory period. don’t waste your college years wishing to already be graduated & have a job. don’t waste your single years wishing for someone to be in love with. if/when those things come, they will come in due time and they will be good. but there is nothing like looking back and feeling empty because you wasted literal years ignoring what you had because you were hoping for something better. while it’s important to better yourself and reach for your goals, don’t neglect the present because that’s where you are now and it’s your now that determines your future.
