Can You Guess What Is Being Made?

Just got new tablet...no inspiration or motivation to draw...haha

I made Lapis 8D <3 This was super fun to make and I am just happy with it in general. I wish I had a better camera to pick up every detail, best lighting I could get without being too bright or grainy.

Still nothing really ready to post but I’m tired of going months on end with no posting so I’ll probably just post works in progress and once I can get drawing supplies do that again as well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another sculpt of Lapis Lazuli :3 might end up making a lot of her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just want to say now that this in particular was inspired by the Fayth in Final Fantasy X. (I might make more, idk yet though, it was a side thing I was casually doing alongside figures) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I haven’t painted this yet because I was thinking of maybe trying to make copies of this if anyone would be interested in buying. Some others have told me I should try making them into mirrors (I didnt put two and two together, it is the same size as a handle mirror too.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I still need to refine some things before painting or possibly molding, mainly just sanding, lots of sanding. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also does anyone know how to prevent text clumping together on posts on mobile?

I want to eventually sculpt a robot, if I do it will be Gortys from Tales from the Borderlands.

Dear Tumblr,

All those posts you see of young artists charging $3, $6, $10 for a drawing because they need help? That’s fucking exploitation, and fuck you if you think it’s reasonable or a “good deal" to pay nickels and dimes to squeeze a full-color original drawing out of some talented, hardworking kid because things are tight, and they can’t afford their textbooks. Or food. They sure as hell can’t afford to make you art for $6.

Instead, stop. And ask them where you can donate. If you can afford a $6 drawing, then you can afford to spend $6 simply to help someone. You don’t need internal organs as payment.

Don’t allow young artists to be exploited.

What type of art do people want to see? (I guess from me) (Edit: this was not meant to be a rambling vent post but turned into one.) I just dont know how to get out there on any website. I feel like a ghost who talks to everyone but nobody hears or sees me. I want to just give up, give up on everything not just art anymore. Or maybe I have that backwards, I always wanted to give up on everything but art. I see no point, it is my only skill and positive trait yet it isnt good enough. I am literally a starving artist. I cant get work. I cant do anything. This isnt a tumblr thing, there is obviously something wrong with me if I have been trying for over a decade and still havent gotten anywhere. I swear i spend more time and have more time that 97%of people. But i waste it all on art that gets me nowhere, not financially or socially. And no art doesnt help me for me, not anymore,my goal since a child was to become a paid artist. Imagine a kid who spent their whole life, extracurricular activities, anything possible in anyway their whole life trying to become a doctor, cook, athlete...and just it getting ripped from under them. I fake reality you thought would come true but you dont qualify and instead of being on the team or something you end up being an unpaid volunteer as a waterboy or something like that, or expected to cater for free, for "exposure" it feels like shit and it is. I already given up, im just a zombie with no purpose who just goes off of what feels most natural and intuitive.

SO.....I’m homeless now, well our landlord just kicked us out today, we have no way to pack anything, nowhere to go, three cats, no money I’m super sick right now and can’t even walk around the house without wanting to fall over...

I haven’t done this in a few years but I finally have a sort of price list together, I’m just doing bust-shots for now, but If you are looking for anything else, please ask, I don’t mind discussing it. c:

I desperately need money, I can’t afford food (I have celiac disease), barely bills and rent as well as financial abuse from our roommate(my dad), I cannot work, I also cannot get ssi and such so stuck in an awkward place. My husband and I are forced to move in a month and a half but have no money saved and am going to lose most of my things and my cats, my husband is so stressed because of my dad and my lack of work that he is threatening to break the lease because we have no food or money for food, he doesn’t get paid until next thursday, I am unable to leave the house by myself without having severe breakdowns and he always gets off too late to do anything else himself. (I am literally stuck in this situation with no other options I’M capable of doing. But I have always planned on selling my art, I just need to do what I can right now) I’ll make a better price list eventually that is more than jist bustshots, I just want to be able to do as much as I can in a timely matter for both sides while testing the waters after all these years If that makes sense.

Im being lazy but at least I don't need to focus when it comes to sanding c: Also im trying out a new type of paint, I'll be trying it out on a mini bust of Chloe from Life is Strange. (The reason is the colors that were bought are pretty much her color scheme) if they work out i will buy more while still trying out some other brands.
