“How in the hell did you even manage T’GET this far out here ? Hold STILL ! Yer gonna make me mess this up and I’m just gonna laugh at you, y’know ?”

She doesn’t mean it -- MOSTLY -- but slender fingers hold steady as she holds the skin together in order to push the needle through it. The pot of hot water sat cooling from where she sanitized the needle, she’d be using the warmed water later to clean him up. She just feel’s bad that she doesn’t have any painkillers. She’d have to go nick some in the morning, but for now she offers up her bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey. No, Spider-Man most certainly did NOT interrupt her bout of depressive drinking to try and drown the loneliness. She was simply celebrating another day of successfully beating the shit out of her abusive ex, who currently is suffering three broken ribs, a busted lip, TWO black eyes and she tried to dislocate his knee but her bat may have missed. Eh, she could be clumsy sometimes. 

What she didn’t expect was an old work buddy of hers from New York to suddenly pop up on her fire escape, big gash on his back and having to help lift his heavy ass onto her ratty old couch. She has him braced against one arm rest, bangs held back with a red headband and eyes focused on sewing him closed before her cleaned flesh could get any more infected. She finishes up the last touches with a satisfied hum, cutting the thread and proceeding to dress the five inch wound. She’d definitely need to stock up on supplies again, especially for him. The wound was pretty deep; she wonders if she can threaten a doctor for painkiller’s as well as antibiotics ? Couldn’t hurt to try !

“There ! All done, now to clean ya up ! I’d give you a lollipop but I ate the last one. Oh ! No wait, here y’go !”

Did the cherry pop come from between her couch cushions ? Yes, but she doesn’t disclose that.

Hands move to his mouth in an overdramatic drawn out gasp at her words. Killed someone? For him? “That’s the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me!” Wade exclaims, dropping his hands to his side. Underneath his mask, he is smiling, even if she can not see it. “What did you do to them? How’d you kill them? C’mon, I need more details!”

She was hesitant to tell him, afraid he’d SCOLD her and read her the riot act for murdering an asshole. But then ? Then he’s gasping and practically MELTING her heart with his sweet reaction ! Oh, she couldn’t be happier ! A high giggle that edges on manic slips past smeared ruby lips, bloodied hands clasping together behind her back as she skipped a few steps closer to this Deadpool, short pigtails bouncing with her movement and smile wide on her pale face.

“Aw doll you don’t have t’ask twice ! As if I’d just let some random ass guy finish BREAKIN’ into your place ‘n do GOD knows what ! It’s really just common courtesy to sink a knife in ‘im. By the way sorry for the stains on your carpet. I’ll pay for it, mmm someday. Anyway, he told me he was lookin’ for you. That you owed penance, blah, blah, blah. That borin’ shit, so I threatened t’cut out his tongue if he didn’t GET ON WITH IT --”  

During her recount, Harley had circled Deadpool’s taller form with an excitable grin and curious eyes, then making her way over to a beat up couch he owned, plopping down comfortably while flinging a severed TONGUE at his feet, the flesh landing wetly and she gives a short cackle, shimmying in her spot to get more comfortable before she lays down without a second thought.

“-- Long story short, you killed some of his gang, I killed HIM and YOU have a very interestin’ job than I thought mistah Deadpool !”
