I haven’t really seen any fancasts of David Wymack, but when I was reading TFC for the second time I saw he had “tribal tattoos” and my brain just immediately went to Dwayne Johnson. i don’t really know why, but it made for an entertaining read-through. Like picture Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wrangling a five foot tall Andrew Minyard. Picture Dwayne Johnson, The Scorpion King, having an aneurysm every time Neil “Human Disaster” Josten calls out the Moriyamas. Picture him listening to Kevin whine about how much the Foxes suck for hours on end. Dwayne Johnson letting Allison paint his nails on a long, boring bus ride. It’d be like that movie The Pacifier, except like fifty times worse.
They do bad things because they’re scared.
They’re gullible or misinformed. Example: somebody who has been told the heroes are out to hurt them.
They are desperate for interaction, validation, kindness, or attention, and the dark side gives them those things.
They want to change their allegiance, but are pressured by people close to them to stay evil.
They have an otherwise noble goal that they will do literally anything to achieve. Example: somebody who wants to protect their child, even if it means throwing other children into danger.

“we’ve lost enough, don’t you think? it’s time to win.”
sometimes i just go through the shit i highlight to cheer myself up because im so fucking hilarious.
I had this one lucid dream where a lady came up to me and said, “Don’t control the dream,” really softly. I had the same dream again a couple days later but instead of just one lady. I was surrounded by a whole group of people with glowing eyes just saying, “Don’t,” and I got so freaked out that I never tried to lucid dream ever again.
