In Need of Motivation π
can anyone recommend some good studyspo YouTubers or just any studyspo content, study motivation advice and tips for right now?
I have homework and studying I need to work on but canβt find the motivation to move from my bed to my desk.
I might try a Study to Success video, or an old video from Studyquill.
also, Iβm curious, what keeps you guys going to get some work done when you donβt feel like doing it? What sparks your productivity?

Daily Check-In: May 26, 2025 π
Hello lovelies <3
Today is going to be a very relaxing, restorative day, as I have work tomorrow and had a really rough night last night. Nothing too difficult or too set in stone for me. Just a todo list of things I WANT to do today that'll benefit me the best.
This summer so far, I've been indulging in hobbies, which is what I plan on spending all day today doing!
ToDo Today (May 26) π»
watercolor painting practice
color a full page in one of my coloring books
begin reading a new book (I just finished The Seven Husband's of Evelyn Hugo and omg it was so so good)
list a few more clothing items on depop
wash dishes
job search, just a little bit
budget the money I'm getting later this week
journal about life a little bit
take a nap
Those are the only things I want to make sure I get done today, I don't care what order or how long they take. Today is all about relaxing and having a good, easy, restful day.
I hope all of you have a wonderful day as well <3
π΅ Song of The Day: Casual - Doja Cat

Day 7 - 90 Day Challenge π
So I have been in a bit of a depressive slump yesterday and today so yesterday doesn't really count. But today I did some stuff so I thought I'd at least update today.
So what did I get done today?
πββοΈ Physical Health
waked to and from campus
π§ Mental Health
had an appointment with my therapist
β€οΈ Emotional Health
cried a lot to release some emotions
π Intellectual Health
took notes for 35 minutes
π Adulting
messed with insurance stuff for a bit (but I definitely need to consult a professional)
cooked protein-ish pasta for dinner
π₯° Self Love/Care
AM + PM Skincare
It was not the most productive day, but at least I didn't lay in bed all day like I wanted. Still feeling a bit down and moody. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.

90 Day Challenge - Intro
Hello! I've decided that I'm going to start a semi personalized 90-day challenge to help keep myself on track with my productivity! I will have certain goals I want to achieve, and the whole goal of this in general, like my desired outcome, is to build some more positive, healthy, productive habits! I'm going to set in place some rules for myself for this challenge!
π©· Rules for 90 Day Challenge π©·
Must post an update to my blog every day as a way to keep myself accountable
2 goals per category per day MINIMUM
4 goals per category per day MAXIMUM
Be honest with yourself and on this blog!
Be mindful and compassionate towards yourself in regards to time and energy
Here are the categories:
πββοΈ Physical Health
π§ Mental Health
β€οΈ Emotional Health
π Intellectual Health
π₯³ Social Health
π₯° Self Love/Care
I will post every evening/night with what I accomplished for that day and what I plan to accomplish tomorrow.
*I will lump some things together. such as "complete 3 assignments" instead of listing every assignment. and there will be some overlap, as some days I might take a walk for physical health but other days do that for mental health, etc.
This is a pretty lofty challenge for me, and there will be some repeat goals (like studying japanese, doing homework, skincare, etc) but this will definitely give me som direction in my days so I'm excited!
I'll upload my first post of the challenge soon after this as I want to start today! I'll start with my goals for today and then upload tonight as mentioned earlier.
I'm excited to share this with you all!

small break from my normal challenge posts to ask a question and get some feedback!
Iβm going to start posting some language learning stuff and hopefully some study type content as well now that finals are coming up and during the following break I want to dive back into my language studies to keep my brain full of knowledge.
Can anyone recommend some resources and advice/tips?
Iβm looking for (Mexican) Spanish learning resources, Japanese learning resources, and advice and tips on motivation to keep going with the language learning, some productivity and discipline tips, and just any advice and motivation you guys have in general? Even if itβs not language related and just school and study related, I would be so happy to hear from all of you guys!
I look forward to posting some more normal everyday content along side the study school and language stuff along with my challenge updates! I feel like I havenβt been keeping up with the normal content I want to post so Iβm really looking forward to doing more of that now!
anywho, thanks in advance for the resources, advice, and tips! I appreciate all of you, lovelies π©·π€
Mini Check In August 19, 2023 π
So I haven't gotten tested because it's the weekend for me, but based on my current symptoms, there's a good chance I have the vid-19. Which is really not fun, but at least I've been dealing with it a bit. I left work early on Friday and am not able to work today thru Monday, which could potentially cost me my job, but fingers crossed.
I am currently looking to apply for a different job on my university campus, and I already know I'll get the job after I apply (my way of manifesting, lol). It'll be nice to do something a little different than my current job, for sure.
I'm going to try to get back to my regularly scheduled posts and routines as soon as I find myself in better health. I feel bad not posting, but I've also been resting a ton to try and heal faster. But yeah, I currently feel like -12/10 in gems of physical health.
Fingers crossed, I'm better by Tuesday! I have my first cooking class on Tuesday evening, so hopefully I am better and can attend because the professor for that class is amazing!
Also, thank you guys for 150+ followers! Just a few weeks ago, when I started taking my blog seriously, I only had 7 followers so having over 150 now is incredible! I appreciate all of you so much <333
That's all for today! Til next time, lovelies!! π©·
I'm back? - An Update
Hey lovelies. It's been a while. Lots has happened in my life, and I don't know how consistent I'll be with posting but I figured it would be a good way to kind of motivate myself to get back to some of my habits and working towards some of my goals. I've been slowly trying to better myself, my life, my academics, all that good stuff, and maybe coming back here and posting will help me stay accountable? Who knows, but it's worth a shot.
π Todo List for Today (March 26, 2025)
take chapter 8 notes for health psychology
take chapter 9 notes for exercise physiology
read 1 chapter of Attached β οΈ (I read 3)
survive my night shift at work (2pm to 9pm)
night time skincare
Not an extensive list, as I've already crossed off some other items on my to-do list that I don't think need to be added because they're already done for the day. I'm feeling incredibly anxious right now, and I have no clue why, but hopefully taking my medication and maybe some meditation will help my anxiety lessen a little bit.
My todo list for tomorrow is TBD.

Day 22-24: 90 Day Challenge π
I have been so busy the last few days. A final and an 8 hour work shift on Wednesday, a 6 hour work shift and a 4 hour serving shift for my class on Thursday and a 10 hour work shift today.
Consider this my update for today and tomorrow I will be back to our regular posts! I apologize. Life got to life-ing! But I made it out the other side of my semester so I'm so happy I final get this break!

π Overcoming Gym Anxiety π
I got asked about this through my inbox by @sxfiaaa so I figured I'd make a post about it and hopefully help a lot of people with something I too used to struggle with!
π©· Wear Comfortable Clothing
We've all seen the beautifully dressed people on Tiktok, Pinterest, etc in their matching sets and cutr gym clothes. If that is what you're comfortable wearing to the gym, do it! Wear it, and be confident in it! If you're more of a loose clothes/sweatpants/baggy shirts or hoodie type of person, do that! Wear whatever you feel comfortable (and cute) in, because the better you feel going into a workout, the more you'll be able to focus on your workout!
π©· Know What You're Doing When You're There
This just means go in with a plan! You don't need to know how to use every single machine or do every single exercise known to mankind. Scroll tiktok or pinterest for some workout videos for inspo (please make sure the video you get inspo from shows proper form!!! Proper form is so important for being safe!!)
If you know you can go certain days of the week, make a workout split to follow that! EX 3 day split: Monday - Leg Day, Wednesday - Upper Body, Friday - Full Body
OR, if you just want to go do cardio, then plan for that! I didn't know how to use a treadmill, but I went to the gym at my university and stood on the treadmill til I figured it out!
π©· Remember This
No one is going to look at you and judge you or think mean things about you. Everyone is at the gym for the purpose of bettering themselves and their health. If you find people giving you occasional glances, maybe it's because they don't recognize you from the gym (or they do recognize you from somewhere else), maybe their admiring your outfit/physique, maybe their avid gym goers who are watching your form and technique, or maybe their just zoned out and you happen to be in the line of sight.
When I'm at the gym, I look around between sets and take note on other people's form to see if maybe I should tweak the way I do a certain exercise, or I'm admiring another girls outfit or physique because there are a lot of beautiful women at the gym. Sometimes, I'm thinking "dang, they're lifting so heavy, how cool!" or "wow, their form is amazing, they really know what they're doing." I've never thought bad abut someone at the gym because why would I?
π©· Don't Be Scared To Ask For Help
if there an exercise you really want to do but don't know how and videos aren't helping, ask someone around you who isn't in the middle of an exercise and looks like they may know. The guy at the gym doing upper body who has good biceps may be the right guy to ask about upper body exercises. The girl doing impeccable Bulgarian Split Squats might be the right person to ask for help with those types of movements. Just make sure they aren't in the middle of an exercise, because that can cause some unwanted issues, especially if they're mid-rep, that can turn into a safety issue.
People love to help people, especially at the gym. If you politely ask for help from someone, they may take it as a compliment that you think they look like a person who is knowledgeable on working out. I'd definitely be so flattered if someone asked me for help or advice at the gym!
π©· Random Advice:
remember your why! no matter how anxious you are, remember why you're going! what are your goals, what do you hope to achieve, how proud will you feel after?
start small if you have to! if it's really anxiety inducing to start working out, make it your first goal to at least step into the gym. then 2nd goal, walk around the gym to get a feel for it. 3rd goal, maybe 5-10 minutes on a treadmill, and then keep building momentum each day.
be careful with the hours you go! there is such a thing as peak gym hours. It varies by place, but a lot of gyms are busy between 2pm and 6pm I've seen. I personally love going to the gym super early morning, it's a little less busy and I'm a morning person so it works out for me! If you can only go during peak hours, bring a friend or keep your headphones on and do your thing!
Bring a friend! If you're really anxious about going alone, bring a friend with similar goals! Sometimes it can be a lot nicer to learn something new with a friend then try and learn it on your own! Plus, it's like extra motivation and accountability!
Have a motivating pre workout routine. Play some music while getting ready, prep your bags, prep your playlist, get your workout itself figured out, and just keep yourself excited to go! I love blasting high-energy music that makes me feel like a baddie on my way to the gym.
I hope this was helpful!! My thoughts were everywhere but I tried to convey them as best as possible! I'm happy to answer any questions or offer more tips and advice, don't feel scared to ask! <3

Daily Check-in: October 6th, 2024 π
Today's the day I get to fly out to see my man and I'm equally parts anxious and excited! I've hardly ever flown alone, hence the anxiety. I know it'll be a breeze though. I got a lot done yesterday, and this morning I was up at 3am working on an assignment due today at 9am.
π©· Academic Achievment Oct 5th -
completed and submitted field trip report for culinary class
submitted weekly meal writing for culinary
completed and submitted component one for my psychology class
took and (barely) passed my Anatomy lab exam
kept up duolingo + busuu streak
π©· Personal Achievements Oct 5th -
washed towels and leftover laundry
took out bedroom and bathroom trash
checked in on flight app and got boarding pass
did my therapy
met with my RD mentor
morning journaling
morning Skincare
mostly finished packing
Did a lot yesterday/this morning! Just have a couple of things to finish up before I leave for the airport later, including my psychology lab. Just need to shower, officially finish packing, and make sure my fan and everything are turned off before I go.
I may or may not update this weekend, depending on what I do.
