I need to really learn and implement all of this!!!
Basic Financial Rules To Live By π°β¨
Create a plan that shows how much money you get and how much you spend. This helps you see where your money goes.
Set aside a part of your money as savings. Try to save at least 10-20% of what you earn.
Be careful with borrowing money, especially if you have to pay back a lot of extra money (interest).
Save some money for unexpected things like medical bills or losing your job. Aim to have enough to cover your living costs for a few months.
Put your saved money into different things that can make it grow, like stocks or real estate. Be patient, as it takes time.
Don't spend more money than you make. Stick to buying what you really need, not just what you want.
Decide what you want to do with your money, both in the short term (like a vacation) and long term (like retirement).
Set up automatic transfers to your savings and bills so you don't forget to save or pay your bills on time.
Make saving money a top priority before spending on other things.
Regularly look at your money situation, adjust your plan as needed, and see how your investments are doing.
Pay your bills on time and use credit wisely (like credit cards) to keep a good credit score, which can help you get better deals on loans.
Save money for when you're older and don't work anymore. Use retirement accounts to help with this.
Think before you buy things. Don't buy something just because you want it; think if it's necessary.
Keep learning about how money works and how to make smart money choices.
Only use your emergency fund for real unexpected problems, not for things you just want to buy.
π Summer Stuff π
I had no idea what to title this, but this is a comprehensive list of my goals, habits, and "dailies" that I am going to accomplish this summer (before I head to Colorado in mid june for 8 weeks of work!)
π©· Overall Goals/Habits
Daily movement - morning workout AND/OR a hot girl walk (5k to 10k steps a day is my goal for daily steps)
Spanish study - 20+ minutes a day, have a couple italki lessons (already have one booked!)
Daily reading - 30+ minutes daily, nonfiction and/or fiction
Consistent morning routine - hydration, movement, journaling, skincare, etc
Wake up at the same time everyday - debating between 5 and 6am right now (I'm a morning person!)
Try some new things - watch new TV shows, maybe self learn some kpop choreo, dabble in creative writing, try new classes, etc
Consistent night routine - unwind, read, shower/skincare, journal, etc
Go to sleep at same time every night: 10pm or 11pm
Incorporate more wellness into my days - stretching, meditation, yoga/pilates, fruit smoothies
Keep up with all necessary appointments - doctors, therapist, etc
Maintain a healthy diet - high nutrient (fruit and veggie), high ish protein, moderate carbs, moderate fats, lots of water, limited caffiene, highly limited added sugar (loosely track food intake to be more mindful of my choices)
Consistent cleaning and reset routines
Daily affirmations and work on Law of Attraction/Law of Vibration to help manifest my dream life and cultivate my new identity to live my healthier, happier, desired life <3
I am so excited. Something about this summer feels different. This summer feels like the one for me, like I'm seriously going to have my "that girl" summer that I've been hoping for. Lots of rest, recovery, and renewal.

Daily Check-in - July 24, 2023 π
Day 2 was a little different than yesterday, mainly because I had to work an 8 hour shift today, and it wore me out π I still managed to do my morning routine and part of my night routine, so I am really happy with how today turned out regardless!
π©· What I Ate Today:
Breakfast - A two good vanilla Greek yogurt bowl with cacao and cashew butter granola, a sliced up banana, chia seeds, and some peanut butter! And of course, a cup of coffee and water
Lunch - Salad, topped with Tuna (mixed withavocado oil mayo), small pieces of sharp cheddar cheese, and shredded carrots, and a bowl of watermelon
Dinner - Low carb quesadilla, three air fried Tyson chicken strips, more watermelon, and another coffee
Other - I tried these new electrolyte tablets that were recommended to me, and while I did not like the taste, I noticed a difference in my energy and how I overall felt going back to work after lunch
Water - currently 72oz, but I have another bottle of water on my desk that I plan on finishing by the time I go to sleep
π©· Workout - Pilates Abs + Nighttime Stretches
This was the first one I *attempted*, and I found it a bit difficult to keep up with mainly because it was my first day back to exercising after a three week break. I did enjoy the format and the exercises were pretty beginner friendly! 8.2/10
This is the next one I did and I really enjoyed it! I loved the movements themselves and while I do wish it had actually been 10 minutes, it was super easy on the body! 9.7/10, I recommend
I had to stop halfway through this one because I am not fit enough to keep up with a chloe ting ab video just yet, although I loved the exercises included and I absolutely love her vibe in all her videos! 8/10
I ended the night with the same stretch video as I like the hip stretching, and it's currently a bit of a challenge since I'm not very flexible right now. 9.3/10
Tomorrow - Lower Body Pilates!
π©· Habits I Accomplished Today
Made my bed this morning
Did morning and night skincare
Guided journal morning and night
Stretch 5+ min before bed
Read 10+ pages of a book
Workout for 30+ min
Still need to work on morning meditation and doing my daily journaling, but I'm proud of what I've kept up with so far!

π©· Current Read: Atomic Habits by James Clear
Overall, Day 2 is considered a success! I can't wait for tomorrow, I genuinely look forward to the things I get to do each day, especially now that I'm on this journey and documenting it. I look forward to being able to look back one day and be proud of how far I've come!
Til tomorrow!!
April 1st, 2025 π
April already? Time is flying, I feel like we barely entered 2025 and now it's April? Feels unreal almost.
I have no work today, so I'm going to spend as much time as I can on stuff that I really need and really want to do! I've done pretty good at getting stuff done lately, especially with school stuff, so I really want to keep that sort of momentum going to try and be more successful as the school semester comes to an end.
Todo Today (April 1st) β¨οΈ
wash dishes π«§
put away clean laundry π
wash bedding π§Ό
clean room π§Ή
clean cat litter box π±
take out trashes π
complete assignment 6 for one of my online classes π»
complete chapter 10 notes for exercise physiology βοΈ
complete chapter 9 notes for health psychology βοΈ
complete assignment 10.2 for exercise physiology π»
make study quizlet for health psychology
make study quizlet for exercise physiology
make a grocery list to order π
daily journaling π
read 1 chapter of Attached π
night time shower + skincare πΏ
stretch and/or light plates workout πͺ
Seems like a lot at first glance, but I have all day to do this stuff, so I definitely have the means to get it all done.
What I Did Yesterday (March 31st) π
completed chapter 9 quiz for exercise physiology
worked on chapter 10 notes for exercise physiology
completed assignment 10.1 for exercise physiology
washed a load of laundry
dropped off two packages at the post office
finished paying off my rent
worked from 230pm to 945pm
I feel like that's a good amount of stuff to have gotten done yesterday, given I really wasn't feeling like doing much. Work had been so tiring lately, I'm almost glad the semester is ending because of the toll that work is taking on me physically now. On the bright side, I should be getting promoted in April, so hopefully, things ease up once that happens.
I want to start studying languages again, and of course I'm stuck between my favorite three: Spanish, Korean, or Japanese. I have lots of Japanese study resources, I live in a high population of Spanish speakers, and I listen to lots of music and media in Korean. Which one(s) do I start with to ease back into it? Pick one? All three? Help a girl out!!

Thanks for the tag! I usually don't respond to tags because I'm always busy, but I'm actually doing nothing for once!! (also, I chose pink hair because my actual hair has three colors in it right now and pink is one of them!)
A fact about me that is relevant to this week? Hmmmm.... I guess i have a couple? I've recently continued watching season 3 of Bungou Stray Dogs which is in my top 3 favorite anime, I've hit a 14 day streak on duolingo and a 7 day streak on Busuu (studying Japanese for the 3rd time in my life), and my two go to foods this week have been noodles (pasta, Ramen, macaroni) and boiled frozen chicken potstickers! (it's been a rough week to say the least π )
I have no idea who to tag so anyone who sees this is welcome to join in and add on to it!
staring a tag game!! use this picrew and post a fact about yourself that has been relevant in the past week.
i really like playing volleyball! and started playing on the club team again :) yes Haikyuu is a solid series. this is unrelated.

especially any financial content creators that share tips on budgeting, saving, investing, and healthy spending habits.
but I'll accept any content creators from any platform that post about any of the mentioned topics, I'd really appreciate it!!
I want to make 2024 a better year for myself then 2023 was, so am looking to consume positive, healthy, leveling up content!
YouTube, Tumblr, Reddit, Insta, TikTok, any content creators/subreddits on these platforms would be highly highly appreciated!

I have a bit of a dilemma and I need some outside opinions.
I have the chance to take the next five weeks off of work (somewhat, theyβd need help with some things maybe six days I know for sure in the next five weeks). During this time, Iβll receive a paycheck near the end of May, and I can file for unemployment benefits until I go to Colorado in mid June. I wanted to take this time initially to continue studying Spanish, work on my health, and build some good lifestyle habits.
however, Iβve been contacted by a different branch of my company on the university campus to help with dorm cleaning for the summer until I leave. All I know for now is that Iβd work ten hours on Monday, from 7am to 5pm, and then Iβd find out the schedule going forward. I donβt drive or have a car so Iβm a little worried about traveling around campus for cleaning, especially since my friends arenβt going to be working with the dorm cleaning either.
part of me says take the break from work, enjoy life a little bit until you go to Colorado, and file for unemployment. (Iβd work 40 hours a week for 8 weeks in Colorado). The other part of me says that I should keep working and make the money because itβll be decently more then unemployment would give me. Mentally and emotionally, I am a bit burnt out from my semester of work and really do want some time off. But the financial aspect of it is what is keeping me torn.
what should I do?
π Overcoming Gym Anxiety π
I got asked about this through my inbox by @sxfiaaa so I figured I'd make a post about it and hopefully help a lot of people with something I too used to struggle with!
π©· Wear Comfortable Clothing
We've all seen the beautifully dressed people on Tiktok, Pinterest, etc in their matching sets and cutr gym clothes. If that is what you're comfortable wearing to the gym, do it! Wear it, and be confident in it! If you're more of a loose clothes/sweatpants/baggy shirts or hoodie type of person, do that! Wear whatever you feel comfortable (and cute) in, because the better you feel going into a workout, the more you'll be able to focus on your workout!
π©· Know What You're Doing When You're There
This just means go in with a plan! You don't need to know how to use every single machine or do every single exercise known to mankind. Scroll tiktok or pinterest for some workout videos for inspo (please make sure the video you get inspo from shows proper form!!! Proper form is so important for being safe!!)
If you know you can go certain days of the week, make a workout split to follow that! EX 3 day split: Monday - Leg Day, Wednesday - Upper Body, Friday - Full Body
OR, if you just want to go do cardio, then plan for that! I didn't know how to use a treadmill, but I went to the gym at my university and stood on the treadmill til I figured it out!
π©· Remember This
No one is going to look at you and judge you or think mean things about you. Everyone is at the gym for the purpose of bettering themselves and their health. If you find people giving you occasional glances, maybe it's because they don't recognize you from the gym (or they do recognize you from somewhere else), maybe their admiring your outfit/physique, maybe their avid gym goers who are watching your form and technique, or maybe their just zoned out and you happen to be in the line of sight.
When I'm at the gym, I look around between sets and take note on other people's form to see if maybe I should tweak the way I do a certain exercise, or I'm admiring another girls outfit or physique because there are a lot of beautiful women at the gym. Sometimes, I'm thinking "dang, they're lifting so heavy, how cool!" or "wow, their form is amazing, they really know what they're doing." I've never thought bad abut someone at the gym because why would I?
π©· Don't Be Scared To Ask For Help
if there an exercise you really want to do but don't know how and videos aren't helping, ask someone around you who isn't in the middle of an exercise and looks like they may know. The guy at the gym doing upper body who has good biceps may be the right guy to ask about upper body exercises. The girl doing impeccable Bulgarian Split Squats might be the right person to ask for help with those types of movements. Just make sure they aren't in the middle of an exercise, because that can cause some unwanted issues, especially if they're mid-rep, that can turn into a safety issue.
People love to help people, especially at the gym. If you politely ask for help from someone, they may take it as a compliment that you think they look like a person who is knowledgeable on working out. I'd definitely be so flattered if someone asked me for help or advice at the gym!
π©· Random Advice:
remember your why! no matter how anxious you are, remember why you're going! what are your goals, what do you hope to achieve, how proud will you feel after?
start small if you have to! if it's really anxiety inducing to start working out, make it your first goal to at least step into the gym. then 2nd goal, walk around the gym to get a feel for it. 3rd goal, maybe 5-10 minutes on a treadmill, and then keep building momentum each day.
be careful with the hours you go! there is such a thing as peak gym hours. It varies by place, but a lot of gyms are busy between 2pm and 6pm I've seen. I personally love going to the gym super early morning, it's a little less busy and I'm a morning person so it works out for me! If you can only go during peak hours, bring a friend or keep your headphones on and do your thing!
Bring a friend! If you're really anxious about going alone, bring a friend with similar goals! Sometimes it can be a lot nicer to learn something new with a friend then try and learn it on your own! Plus, it's like extra motivation and accountability!
Have a motivating pre workout routine. Play some music while getting ready, prep your bags, prep your playlist, get your workout itself figured out, and just keep yourself excited to go! I love blasting high-energy music that makes me feel like a baddie on my way to the gym.
I hope this was helpful!! My thoughts were everywhere but I tried to convey them as best as possible! I'm happy to answer any questions or offer more tips and advice, don't feel scared to ask! <3

November Language Goals π
I did not stick to my October goals at all as I began picking up more hours at work, Iβm going to the gym again, and Iβm swamped with homework. but I began my language tracker/language bullet journal and Iβm feeling more hopeful about my ability to stick with it while juggling other responsibilities. Some of them are the same as Octobers but thatβs due to not having met those goals. Hereβs to a better month!
Complete Genki I Lesson 1 + Lesson 2
Maintain a 30 day Busuu streak
Maintain a 30 day Duolingo streak
Complete up to OR more than Lesson 10 in Level 1 on Kanji App
Use Renshuu for Kana review once a week
Review Ankidroid flashcards twice a week
Complete a weekly reflection and a weekly vocab list in bullet journal
Use LingQ once a week, writing all unknown words in vocabulary notebook
Use Kana writing practice books at least once a week
Complete Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4
I want this to be fun and not a chore. I want to enjoy the learning process. I want to be successful. I set a lot of goals and if I can even only achieve half, thatβs still a lot that Iβve done! I believe in myself. Iβve got this!
Ps. I will start updating more frequently, probably a couple times a week with some life updates or fun things I want to share! Updating daily was way too difficult so maybe Iβll do an every two or three day update, that might be more manageable.
