Thanks to my buddies @wordsbymarcy and @cinip for tagging me! I haven't done many of these before, but I'll try my best.

1. Name: Raku! It's not like I'm trying to hide my real name too hard, but I'd prefer it if I could just be called by my username here.

2. Nickname: Raku

3. Zodiac: Cancer

4. Height: 5.2 feet

5. Last thing I googled: the last thing I googled was "Rotom forms". I just got the pokemon shield dlc, so was excited to get into pokemon again!

6. Song stuck in my head: I am listening to stuff on a randomized playlist, and a song called "Kudokushi" just popped up. Surprisingly catchy.

7. Number of followers: I just started out on tumblr, so my follower count is

8. Amount of sleep: I'd say 7-9 hours of sleep a night

9. Lucky number: 42. It was my sports number, so whenever I played sports, I always tried to get the Jersey that had the number 42.

10. Dream job: making graphic novels or comics seems like a nice dream job.

11. Wearing: a plain red t-shirt and grey leggings

12. Fave song: gosh, this changes almost daily. Uh, "Miracle" by Tobu and Jim Yosef is pretty good!

13. Fave instrument: to play, the drums. To listen to, piano. I know the basics on how to play on a drumset, but other than that, I can't play on any other instrument. (Well, I did have to learn how to play recorder for a month-long mandatory music class, but ifyiegsi that doesn't count)

14. Aesthetic: I love cute things and pastels!

15. Fave author: I don't have a favorite author, but I like quite a few of Rainbow Rowell's books.

16. Fave animal noise: ok, so there's this asmr channel on youtube that has this turtle eating watermelon, and it's the cutest thing?? I don't usually ever listen to asmr, but this ad came up with this turtle MoNcHing, and I fell in love.

17. Random: my favorite desert is icecream! 🍦

edit: i wasn't expecting this to get many notes... there are some things i definitely would've done differently or expanded upon, maybe i will some time when i feel like it (yea, people can have hair on the areola... i've just never seen it for some reason .wtf)

but, most importantly, just have fun with drawing body hair :) it comes in so many different styles for so many people, just get silly with it! use refs!

Edit: 1/11/24 It was brought to my attention that some of the language in this tutorial read as fatphobic. This tutorial was originally written and published on DeviantArt in 2011 and I was generally unaware of these issues at the time. I have adjusted the language in the tutorial to hopefully address these concerns, though old versions may continue to circulate. Thanks for taking the time to point these things out to me.
