Ok smthn I rly hate is when people say you can’t or it’s weird to like a piece of media just because it has a “weird” or “unconventional” aspect to it. It really pisses me off cause people should be allowed to like what they like, regardless of those aspects.

Yes you can like a book even if it has sex scenes in it.

Yes you can like a series even if it has heavy gore or horror.

Yes you can like a movie even if it has a cringey or cheesy plot line or character tropes.

And anything in between. Media has so many aspects to it, we shouldn’t judge what someone like based off just one. As long as it isn’t something genuinely harmful to people (racism, paraphilia, etc) you should be able to like what you like regardless of the icky-er aspects, or heck sometimes even for those aspects, go wild. Again, as long as it isn’t harmful, do what you want bros, have fun <33
