I used this spell right before my interview.
Green candle
Olive oil
Rosemary
Lavender
Cinnamon
Bay leaves
Cloves
Pen and paper with edges ripped off
Plate or bowl
Best on a Thursday or waxing Moon.
Dress the candle in olive oil and melt the wax underneath to stick it to your plate or bowl.
Write on the paper your name and birthday three times, and turn it to your right. Write over your name short details(I will be hired at (company name) in the position of ____, the management will see I am perfect for this job, I have all the skills and more to bring to this position, (company name) will be a positive environment, I will revive a high pay of ____, etc.).
Anoint the paper five times in the four corners and the middle. Fold your paper towards you, turning clockwise as your fold each side.
Add each herb around the candle clockwise, telling each herb what you want it to bring to the spell. (I charge this cinnamon to bring speed into my spell, to bring the new job/interview/job offer to me as soon as possible). Do this for each herb.
Ask your spirits or deities for assistance if you wish as you light your candle.
To carry with you during the interview.
A coin
Tigers eye
Citrine
Rosemary
Ask Mercury for his assistance in communication during the interview. Be sure to leave him an offering afterwards.
And there you have it! I hope this helps you guys get the job! Best of luck!

Here are a few of the spells/rituals I use for cleansing, household harmony, etc! :)
Cleansing Simmer Pot/Floor Wash:
- Rosemary, to clear out and ward off negative or stale energy.
- Garden sage (if you need a particularly strong cleansing. Sage does clear all energies, not just negative, so be aware)
- Mint, to purify and rejuvenate the space.
- Rainwater to wash away old energy.
- Some butterfly pea blossoms if you’re wanting to really transform the energy of the house, since transformation is a strong property of butterfly pea.
- I sometimes add a bit of vanilla to add peace and calm to the house as it is cleansed.
Put all of the above ingredients either into a tea strainer/coffee filter, or just straight into a pot of water, depending on how you intend to use it. If you just intent to make a simmer pot, you can just put the herbs in as they are, but if you intend to add them to water to mop, or intend to use it to wipe down surfaces, I recommend putting them in something to strain them so loose herbs don’t end up on your surfaces.
Cleansing Powder to Absorb Negative Energy:
- Salt, to clear and absorb negative energy
- Black pepper, also to cleanse/banish negativity.
- garden sage, if you want to add extra punch
- Baking soda, to absorb negativity. (I don’t have any real source for baking soda being used for that besides it’s physical properties of being useful for absorbing spills and cat puke, so I figure magickally it could work similarly).
Mix these ingredients in a bowl, and sprinkle over an area you intend to sweep or vacuum with the intention that it will absorb any of the negativity lingering in the space. Then sweep or vacuum the space, and throw out the powder and with it, the negativity.
Household Harmony Simmer Pot/Floor Wash:
- Vanilla, for peace and happiness.
- Cinnamon, for communication and harmony.
- Apple peel, for prosperity in the home.
- Coffee, to remove obstacles to family harmony, and for communication.
- Rosemary, to protect the home from negativity.
- Lavender, for peace and harmony.
- Blackberry, for improved communication
Same as with the cleansing spell, this can be made into a simmer pot or sometime to wash surfaces with. If you use it to wash surfaces, I recommend you water it down quite a bit with some water and vinegar, or remove the blackberries so that the fruit doesn’t make the floor sticky or attract bugs.

Best performed on a New Moon or Full Moon, or any time you are checking in with yourself and your practice. All answers are designed to be relevent within the span of one moon cycle. 1. Full Moon- What Gives You Power? What fills your cup, gives you energy, and keeps you moving forward? What do we want to make sure we keep around and nurture? Where can we draw strength from during this time?
2. Waning Moon- What Needs Letting Go? What are we carrying that no longer serves us? What can we release to make room for new things? What are we transitioning out of?
3. New Moon- What Is Ready To Begin? Every moment is a new beginning for something. What is waiting to break the surface? What needs a fresh start? What have you been putting off that you are now ready for? What new energy is coming into your life?
4. Waxing Moon- What Can You Develop? What can you best manifest during this time? What needs your attention in order to grow? What things are headed your way, but need a little help reaching their full potential?

This is my favorite recipe for recovering from cold and flu. I made a batch of it this morning for some of my officemates who haven't been feeling well and I thought I would share in case anyone needs a pick-me-up.
You will need:
Black tea (I usually use Earl Grey for this recipe)
Honey (local is best if you can get it)
Ginger paste
A fresh orange
Cinnamon stick (if desired)
Brew the tea on the strong side and fill your favorite mug about 2/3 of the way. Add a pea-sized amount of ginger paste plus honey to taste and stir well. Slice the orange into wedges. Select a piece and prick the rind with a fork before adding it to the cup of tea. Macerate the orange a little to release the juice and pulp. If you want, you can also add a cinnamon stick for flavor.
Breathe in the steam while the tea is hot, then sip slowly once it's cooled to a drinkable temperature. It's best to drink it while it's hot. I find this really helps with cough and sore throat, plus it's tasty and comforting. Nothing like a good cuppa to put oneself right again.
Pro-Tip: If you want to make a decongestant version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Your nose will run like a faucet, but it helps.
