Do they think think that "strong female characters"="good people"?
- Rhaenys is an oracle of wisdom that only wishes for peace. Heleana doesn't have a taste for dragon riding or anything really, she's just there to have visions. Alicent is left behind and ignored... so she goes and talks with the enemy? And apparently Rhaenyra's ending in s1 and luke's murder meant nothing for her outside of 2 episodes? Are they scared of showing a woman acting out based on her emotions? I feel like anyone would be overwhelmed if a family member (not even a child necessarily) ended up being killed by the opposing side.
I feel like these people would instantaneously combust if you presented them with characters like Cersei or Catelyn, even Sansa.
Like, i know it's cool that he found a reason to keep going, but sort of meh that this whole ordeal it's kinda the same like part one but with a different packaging.
Part two has a lot to appreciate, like some of the characters, moments and the designs, but i'm also conscious that i wouldn't waste my time or spare any thoughts about it if it was any other author

God I love the Hansry kiss scene so much, but what I really admire is Hansā expressions. Especially this one:
You can just tell exactly what heās thinking. That he has fucked everything up, that this could be the last time he sees Henry and heās ruined it. Probably questioning why he even did that, how foolish he is to put his feelings out in the open. You can just see how he mentally kicks himself. Only to then be taken off guard a few moments later by Henry reciprocating those feelings, and the relief that clearly washes over him. Itās just so perfect in every way, I love it.

Bonus:
Look all i'm saying is that if paul had taken a hint and railed john, things would have been different.
Different for the better? Worse? Who knows...
