A still life for the final day of Raffles week! I had a very fun time on all these prompts, and hope I can do it again next year. I still have ideas for some Raffles art, so expect that in the future!
For the Raffles week theme 'Painting', I chose Lady Lilith by Rossetti. Raffles has lots of Pre-Raphaelite artwork in his Albany rooms, Rossetti especially. Of his works, I feel like Lilith's elegant, yet seductive nature complements Raffles as a character.
Raffles Week day 2! Today is 'poetry', so I chose The Gift of the Emperor, as it's the subject of Bunny's poem that starts of this story.
My first piece for Raffles Week 2025, prompt 'Literature'! Bunny is just trying to finish typing up his notes...
happy public domain day to bunny and raffles!
(edit: to clarify, they’ve been public domain for a good while- just taking 2025 public domain day to celebrate the wealth of literature available to us in the public domain!)

Just remembered that Sherlock Holmes was written before rdr2 and Hosea is a fan of crime/mystery novels n therefore he might have read SH n enjoyed it ?? Then this goes for A.J Raffles as well, since Ides of March was published in 1898, if it would've showed up in America...
Hmmh. I just like Hosea Matthews. the man he is.
