furred mask of a bengal cat resting on a white desk. It is coloured brown with a gradient, darker brown in the middle and lighter toward the edges of the mask. The typical "tabby M" is distorted into vaguely diamond shaped pale lines running toward the back of the head. there are also pronounced white markings around the eye holes of the mask. the nose is a bit large on top and very shiny black.
Same as previous image, but at a 3/4 angle showcasing the cheek markings. They are gradiented from brown to almost yellow at the edges in thick wavy horizontal stripes. Closest to the muzzle is three spots parallel to the previous stripe. the whisker marks are a bit scattered. The angle also shows the deep set of the eyes and high nose bridge.
a child in a purple dress wearing the mask, which has blue mesh eyes with slitted pupils.

Brown mink rosetted charcoal bengal mask (feat. my tiniest cousin modelling it)

Tried making the nose entirely out of hot glue and it still sucks a bit. Also used alcohol markers for the first time, I love them so much they’re so much more precise than finger painting with dye lmao

Person wearing a furred cheetah mask. The nose is a bit sloppy and the cheek spots are slightly blurred. The eyeholes are covered in a very fine mesh that looks solid and painted to look like a cheetah's eyes.
Same as before, but at a 3/4 angle instead of head on. The eyes appear to still be looking at the camera.
Same as before but looking to the left of the camera, head tilted further upwards to make the face look less long. Whisker spots are visible on the muzzle.

Cheetah mask! I had to try glueing the nose on three times and it’s just not hitting the spot 😔

Really proud of the eyes, though!

Deaf dog training log: part 4

Sandor is improving heaps on “Stay”

She used to move as soon as she lost sight of me, but now she can wait a bit for me to pop up again. Gonna keep practicing distance and losing sight

Deaf dog training log: part 3.5

Another clip from yesterday I forgot to post: Sandor is actively looking at me when doing “stay”, exactly what I want her to do

Deaf dog training log: part 3

Yesterday’s training on “Stay” at dinnertime because she’s old so she’ll usually just not move anyway. the beagle in her wants to fossick around for food so now I can test if she’s actually listening instead of being old.

She’s very hard to get the attention of when she’s fossicking! I’ll need to practice “Look at me” with distractions

Deaf dog training log: part 2

Sandor is getting the hang of sign commands very quickly, although I think it’s because she’s already trained and just learning new prompts for the same tricks. The only new thing I’ve taught her is “Look at me” by tapping my nose a few times in a row and waiting for her to make eye contact.

Here’s a video of her doing “Come here” (me patting my hip/thigh) and “Sit” (pointing index finger up (you can’t really see the first time) with each correct action getting some “Shine on shine on” and scritches

Deaf dog training log: part 1

I’m petsitting/housesitting for my aunt and her dog has gone entirely deaf in her old age so I’m gonna try teach her sign commands

First I am establishing a reward signal, and I have picked “shine on shine on” from watching Ms Frazzled videos on Facebook (I wiggle my fingers). She is not a dog trainer btw she does satire videos about gentle-parenting entitled adults. Anyway every time I give Sandor scritches I smile and do Shine at her to establish the hand signal as a reward because she can’t hear clicker noises. Once she catches on I will teach her commands.

Also here’s your dog tax
