im not doing well in general like depression wise

obviously books send help in general fun fact: that's exactly how all and any books i even attempt to read end up you see i'm very stubborn with my book reading so all my books are either those that i liked and will re read at some point OR i hated them instantly but was too stubborn to drop and ended up raking them with me everywhere i go those pathetic attempts to trick my subconsciousness do not ever work my desires are... unconventional and all that jazz i absolutely love trigun and devil may cry and batman in all media types Terry Pratchett's works are my absolute faves but i still can't bring myself to read all of the witcher series for some godamn reason consequently i can't play games it drives me insane books (affectionate) books (derogatory)

in general other than that it depends on gender somewhat for masc characters it's either sad edgy traumatized bois who need therapy super soft bois cinnamon rolls who deserve the world and for girls/women it's the other way around aka strong badass women who could step on me and i would thank them but preferably bridal-carry me also sometimes tired adults trying their best make the cut enbies can be whatever they want and i'll thank them for existing special mention to the enbies who give me gender envy like envy (fma) or double trouble (she-ra) hand over your gender pals i don't hate characters that often unless they're made to be detestable it's just a bit harder for me to really get into female characters but if there's a cool girl i'll certainly like her
