Fun post canon idea
Shadow survives and runs off to Canada and sort of just does what he can to survive. In the meantime, the team try tracking him down due to the spike in chaos energy. So it’s a bit of a goose chase with Shadow not even realizing they are trying to find him. He teleports all around the world but is primarily drawn to Canada for reasons he doesn’t understand (Canada and Montana literally border each other, they’re all dumb) he also still has three chaos emeralds while Sonic has the other four.
a beastars commission i did for a friend! this was one of my favourite arcs in the manga, so i was very glad to recreate that iconic pose in it
