My dear friend, Sally Frisbey, lost her husband of 40 years in December 2024 of Parkinson's Disease. Since his passing, she and her family are struggling with everyday life and trying to meet basic needs, i.e., food insecurity: due to her debt after her husband's passing, she has been unable to bring food into her home for her family. She & her late spouse were both retired and after his passing so went more than half of their finances. She has not been able to receive her widow benefits.
