I wonder how different the AU world would be if Steve never became Cap and Bucky somehow didn't go to war? Could Stucky x reader have a nice normal life with decent jobs, a house, some kids? Romanogers will always be my # 1 ship, but I have such a soft spot for Stucky and everything they went through.

What if

Whispered arguments where passes back and forth from above you, the golden light of the early New York sun seeping in through the thin curtains.

“ come on you two mummy needs her sleep she does a lot for you guys”

“ but daddy, me and Howard just wanna play please”

“ Sarah’s right mummy promised to play with us today, and look she’s already awake! Good morning mummy” your young son Howard said escaping Buckys grasp as he jumped on the bed snuggling into you. Sarah was quick to follow her brother a disappointed but loving look came from bucky as your two children cuddled into your barley awake form.

Your heavy eyelids fully opened by this point, smiling gently at your two beautiful children. Sarah your 6 year old, was the spitting image of Steve golden hair and strong jawline, however she had your glowing eyes. You gently placed a loving kiss on her head as she snuggled into the large bed with you her show stopper smile shines sleepily up at you.

Your 4 year old Howard, strongly took after bucky. Sharing his piercing blue eyes, strong jawline and mischievous smirk. But he had your hair. A kiss was placed on his cheek too as he cuddled closer, chubby fists balling in your night shirt.

“Moring doll face sorry about this I wanted you to have a sleep In, you deserve it after last night.” The last part was whispered as he leaned down to press a kiss to your temple. A soft whack was deliver to his chest by you for the comment, as he gently chuckled smoothing back his short hair.

“Well I know how you can make it up to me” you said smiling with faux innocence

“Come on handsome noting is better than a morning cuddle puddle” your children’s eyes glistened with the idea of all cuddling together. Both encouraging there father to join then.

“Now how could I resist that hm” the lazy smile that grazed his face made you so happy as he lifted the sheets and managed To encircle the three of you in his large arms. This of course elicited a wave of giggles from your children as they attempted to escape the tickling arms of There father.

As the four of you settle a soft kiss is shared between you and buck, the world seeming almost at peace but you all know that there is still a piece missing. Steve, he was always the one to wake up early and either drawn or make coffee and breakfast. Almost being able to read your mind bucky called out to him.

“ COME ON PUNK GET YOU SKINNY BUTT IN HERE!” Bucky screeched, sending Sarah and Howard into another fit of giggles. While you rolled your eyes at your husband, getting a kiss on the nose from him.

“WHAT DO YOU WANT BUC- well Well well what’s all this” Steve’s small form entered the room smiling fondly at the scene in front of him.

“ cuddle puddle papa you gotta come join quick” Sarah yelled her small hands making grabby hands at Steve.

“ common darlin we need you to finish off our set” your big bambi eyes coming out with your statement.

“ now who could resist that hm” he smiled slowly slipping into the opposite side to Bucky.

All three of thou smiled knowing no one in the world was as lucky as you all were in that moment
