I saw alot of people SIMPING over these monsters and I get it, im currently playing a game with a non-human as love interest, too but I didn't go along with the hype cuz they weren't my type
then I saw one of my fav youtuber play it with the vid captioned "Trendy horror game where I have to make stupid convo with monsters to escape" smth like that and I was confused cuz that didn't sound like a otome game AT ALL so I checked it out and from the start of the game you're being spoken gibberish with no given hints so throughout the game you're basically playing detective trying to decipher all the words they're saying
im halfway through the gameplay and im ripping my hair out from stress everytime a new word comes up but pocky's ciphers are hilarious and its a nice distraction
also mr. chopped captured my heart so guess i do have a type
The Ultra-war was a pretty big war between the realities. While the war was happening, different kinds of creatures started appearing as byproducts of the war. They were described as parasitic creatures a.k.a parasites.
Now, what I'm gonna talk about is what I think caused the war to start in the first place.
Do you remember when Fran entered Ithersta and turned into a tree because her human body was destroyed? Yeah, it's pretty hard to forget about that... But at that part of the game, so much more happens than that. Because later on when you get carried to Ziar (the tree king, you have to remember him, otherwise you're not a real fran bow fan) he tells you this: "You can't leave now, it would be too dangerous for us".
But why is it? And why now? After this, Fran gets taken by Palontras (that big fluffy flying axolotl, you HAVE to know him, really) he tells you that: "When you traveled to Ithersta, you opened a door between your reality and ours. And with this door opened, unexpected creatures can also enter our reality! ...And if that happens, the balance will be tainted!"
So basically, what he's telling us is that when Fran fell from the bridge, she entered Ithersta by opening a door between the third reality and Ithersta but after she entered the door remained open and because of that, every kind of monsters can enter Ithersta from the third reality whom will obviously cause troubles. Which we even see through out the game! As Palontras fought them and got seriously injured.
Out of Ithersta. In the 4th chapter's second part, after Fran finally arrived to her aunt's house and got Mr. Midnight to get in the window and open the door for her because her aunt was not home, she gets violently pulled into the car by Dr. Deern (Welp, that was a pretty dick move Marcel. Don't you know how to treat a little lady?!) forced to leave her kitty inside the house. After they drive away, even if only for a mere second, but you can see a bunch of Kamalas and Valokas standing next to each other way too close for comfort. That is the beginning of the war, which we had no idea that it was happening until Little Misfortune came out.
Also there was a snail character in Ithersta (who's name I do not know) who were very strongly hinting to the war.
And that's it! I hope I helped you understand a little bit more about Fran Bow. I'll do more theories about Fran Bow/Little Misfortune very soon :)
After playing Wordle for three months and becoming a mod on /r/wordle, I’ve analyzed every possible starting word for greens, useful yellows, narrowing the solutions, and trap avoidance. Now, here’s the culmination of my. Research: a fighting game character tier list! Every character here is playable and ranked by their effectiveness in Hard Mode. Go run the bracket on those puzzles!

30-Day Video Game Music Challenge (Super Hard Mode) Day 11: Puzzle game music From Tetris Effect (PS4, 2018)
Multiplayer modes are coming, but will they use the VR environments and keysounded music that made this the best classic Tetris?

30-Day Video Game Music Challenge (Super Hard Mode) Day 1: Title screen music From Mighty Milky Way (DSi, 2011)
For the next month, I’ve planned an epic journey around the gaming universe. Hard Mode is too easy, so I added my own rule: No repeat consoles! Let’s go!

A clean matrix is a happy matrix. In multiplayer Tetris, if you can perfectly clear all the blocks from your screen, it sends your opponent half a screen of garbage. Tetris art guru Shuey shows us that it’s possible to perfect clear with your first ten tetriminos every time. With clever usage of twists, the hold piece, and strategy, you can do it too!

Puyo Puyo Tetris‘s Swap mode is really good! It’s 25 seconds of Tetris, then 25 seconds of Puyo Puyo, back and forth until someone loses one of the games. It’s like chessboxing. At PAX South 2017, I put my Tetris stacking up against Puyo master heavenchai in this intense final match. Watch for the twists!
Edit: Here’s another upload that used the replays I saved during the second and third games. I forgot to save the first game’s replay; sorry!

Tetris the Grand Master 3 has the subtitle “Terror-Instinct”. KevinDDR has become the sixth player in the world and the first outside Japan to tame this beast and earn the rank of Grand Master in Classic Master mode. Only the best players who can get to and and beat the invisible credits roll consistently earn the right be tested for Grand Master rank, and Kevin pulled it off under pressure. Congratulations!
I really should have posted this one last night. Kevin's a friend, and I should have realized that his run was on YouTube and could have been blogged about. Sorry about that. Click for the full-size image.

GRAND MASTER!! “DEMONIC GAMESOFT
It’s Comics for the recent amazing feat. It looks like a foreigner has obtained "Grand Master,” huh… we’ll discuss “Gosh, that’s difficult”. What’s more difficult, in gamesoft? Shiranai~
It’s a news piece on such a subject. It’s IIDX. Dolce vs “Mei.” It’s “Dodonpachi Crazy Run”.
It’s the Last Dragon and “The Master.”
It’s “Patreon Fan/Fun Club For The Support Of Kawaiis”.
From my pile of forgotten Game Boy carts comes QBillion. You have a top-down view of stacks of boxes. The goal is to reduce these boxes to a single flat layer. Once you wrap your head around that, it’s intuitive, but the puzzles get downright fiendish. 15 years later, the developer is gone, the copyright has lapsed, and a young developer has made a free HTML5 remake.
Yup, this is the HD version. Everything is about double the resolution of the Game Boy game. Click here to play.

I’ve updated the Bakamo Studios site with a new post about three locally developed games that could use some hype right now. While you’re waiting for Evo 2014 Championship Series to start, why not watch these trailers?

Most Tetris games made since 2001 let you twist blocks into gaps that seem impossible. Some of these setups can be used to help correct mistakes, and others are just for fun. Even if you only learn the T-Spins, you’ll be able to send garbage faster than just back-to-back Tetrises all day. If you want to play around with twists, try King of Stackers, a turn-based Tetris battle sim where you can use every trick in the book to make the most of your seven pieces per turn.
