Some concepts for Chili (also a cool rant) >:)

Because Shamura has multiple eyes, I’d like to think that Chili would sprout multiple eyes as well to reflect that

I inspired Chili’s second design from fireflies! unlike the OG Lamb’s form being much more closer to being angelic with their wings, I wanted to go for a more bug-like design for Chili. I wanted to hone in the symbolism that from his experiences up to the point where he becomes that form, Chili has become a beacon of hope for himself and those that followed him.

I also chose the firefly as a symbol for Chili because of a not so fun fact I found online. Did you know that some spiders would capture fireflies in their web and force them to shine their light to lure other fireflies? I didn’t either, but that sounds like CRAZY symbolism for Shamura and Chili’s relationship 😈

13. Is your lamb petite? Curvy? Fucking jacked?

Chili’s a smaller lamb compared to others. In the past, he was a little more on the cubby side but as more time passed and he became more active. As a result, Chili has a more slim figure.

18. On a scale of one to ten how floppy are their ears?

Eight :D

15. “How does your lamb prefer to keep their wool? Short and shorn neat? Wild and untrimmed? Be honest are there branches in that bitch?”

Chili has a tendency to outgrow his wool both because he holds sentimental value to his wool and because he’s low-key kinda lazy to cut it off .

That’s why he wears the bandana on his head! It’s easier for him to see through all of that fluff.

25. “Do they wear something other than the canon cloak?”

Chili wears a robe underneath his cloak that he usually wears when he’s not actively attending to the cult or out on a crusade.

The clothes he typically wears are made out of the finest silk, fit for the vessel of a spider!

49. “Does your lamb use substances? Are substances banned from cult grounds?”

Short answer: Not that often, most substances are allowed in small doses.

Long answer: There is a bar in Chili’s cult that his followers often go to after a long day of work. Sometimes, Chili would go over there himself!

But it’s a different story when it comes to mushrooms. Chili understands that mushrooms have some medicinal properties, it can be pretty handy when someone is sick! However, he has had some pretty disturbing experiences using mushrooms on his fellow cult members. Even more so with his temporary mushroom provider…

So let’s just say after a horrific ritual (and an untimely funeral), Chili’s the only one in the cult allowed to use menticide mushrooms.

These three followers are some of the most important fellas in Chili’s cult! They’re all based off of real followers I had during my cotl gameplay >:)

In Salvation of Bloodshed, Shamura passed down their knowledge of combat to Chili and his cult. So instead of having to change his followers into demons, Chili can just bring their followers with him to crusades!

I inspired these three’s weapons / abilities off of their actual demons in game, where Vixie uses bombs (lots of them), Notre uses a bow and collects fervour for Chili, and Gusion has a staff and specializes in healing

what if i told you guys that chili’s personality is heavily inspired off of the EPIC musical (specifically the Troy Saga)

Anndd a little fun fact: Shamura is able to communicate with Chili telepathically through the power to the Purple Crown. You know what they say, think no evil!

Before his time as a vessel, Chili would often recount stories he’s heard from travelers. Legends of old gods that once ruled the land, heroes that slayed hideous beasts, wars that lasted for centuries.

Chili would often wonder if his life could be like the stories he heard. Where he does something so great, word about “The Almighty Lamb” would reach even the outskirts of the Old Faith.

Back then, his greatest wish was to have an audience to tell those tales.

Okay okay so a little bit about Salvation of Bloodshed + a reference for Chili >:)

Salvation of Bloodshed (or SoB for short) is an AU where Shamura is imprisoned instead of Narinder. Before Shamura was locked up by the other Bishops, they warned the other gods of a prophecy: that a lamb would set them free and start a reign of terror across the lands…

And that’s where Chili comes in!

Despite being a vessel for the God of War, Chili dislikes the idea of mercilessly killing others. He would rather tend to his cult Salvi-Cultiv than to be the one to follow through the prophecy.

However, Shamura has other plans for him…
