haha durarara get it shizaya shizuo heiwajima i made a thing shizayaweek2021 tonight on deliberately misinterpreting the prompts woah where did all these people for the last post come from though i'm glad people liked it hdgsdgh sorry this next thing is nothing special it's practically almost a line by line redraw from the anime but reframed i guess i just glanced over the prompt list again and thought what can i feasibly draw within the next day i just wanted to take the obvious not so obvious bait but i do like the idea of the scar actually having some sort of significance to him it should have been easy enough but it still took me a good while i actually have my original gay panic idea and something else with these prompts that i might want to finish eventually but they'll probably be done way later if ever so don't expect anything i'm making it sound like they're something big they aren't i just operate at a snail pace spoiler alert it's fic art if you haven't noticed yet i have fic on the brain 24/7 there isn't an original thought bouncing around in here but i'm having fun so i don't really mind anyways for once this idea wasn't particularly inspired by any fic but then ''he still has the scar izaya’s knife left that day below his collarbone closer to his heart and deeper than even the most vicious of the other’s later cuts'' ''what he misses instead are those moments right before the blade would slice his skin when he’d think just for a second that maybe it would feel like touch'' read the gift of hands by onewhodiedyoung

reblog drrr shizaya he looks good izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima soultiio shizayaweek2021 i like iiiit i think the composition is pretty cool you did good on the tension in shizuo's pose he looks very tired but also wound tight at least i think so i don't know anatomy what is colour theory i only know that the bright reds and yellows and oranges have a very aggressive look to them which is super fitting i like how you tend to colour shizuo's hair also that izaya smile they're both so obsessed with each other but like not in a positive way ouch

durarara comic shizaya izaya orihara shizuo heiwajima i made a thing shizayaweek2021 izaya speaks in copypasta but where is the gay you say? hsdgshd ok so originally i wanted to do something slightly more serious but i wasn't really vibing with how it was turning out my artistic ability is limited so i gave up on it for now and decided to draw something silly based on a fic i've been reading and of course i think my art looks better when i'm not trying if it wasn't obvious the fic was the mistakes we made by tastewithoutalent but i don't think this is a very accurate representation of it so uh i wouldn't quite consider it fic art but it's pretty much drawn with the fic in mind this was very poorly planned i just sort of came up with everything on the fly so it reads super jank but i think shizuo and izaya look cute at least the third shizuo looks kind of stock pose to me but ahh i already drew it i need to just let go if i want to get better even if the movement is a little awkward i hope it still makes sense? shizuo is supposed to be confused but i don't think that's very clear an ''i thought you were having an episode or something'' moment then he actually has an episode haha whoops this is my contribution to shizaya week i'm sorry i'm a lot better at writing tags that's for sure aha i'll get around to that for other people's shizaya week stuff soon hopefully i don't think i'll be able to finish anything else for it but uh we'll see will i resist the urge to make slight edits with fresh eyes in the morning? update: i did not
