gladly!!! though they dont have any correlation with stardew valley whatsoever, they still hold such a special place in my heart❤️ i think i made them 2-3 years ago…

LILOU OLIVA

(she’s the oldest character ive made so far! i remember when i first made her, she had bright pink hair LOL)

here are some fun facts about her:

she’s filipino; her skin’s on the tanner side and she has really thick wavy hair

lilou lives by the seaside in a little apartment above a convenience store.

she likes to cook and bake; even make jams and pickles (this is kinda sdv related 😭)

lilou’s 5’5 but has the guts of a much taller person…

she has an arm tattoo of stars that was made by her younger brother!

lastly, she used to have a scholarship at this prestigious school but was dropped 🤷‍♀️

INIGO OLIVA

(this is lilou’s younger brother)

fun facts about inigo:

he’s 3 years younger than his older sister but is way taller (5’9 ft)

inigo is very artsy, he likes mediums where he can keep his hands busy (pottery, sculpting)

he doesn’t technically have a permanent home—he likes travelling and backpacking a lot (but if he had to name a place home, it would be his sister’s house)

he likes experimenting with different art mediums a lot—he’s tried piercing, hair dying, tattooing and all sorts of things

inigo is a sweetheart, a little cutiepatootie… he has my whole heart!

i actually have 3 more but they’re more… intense than inigo and lilou so im a bit apprehensive to share 😭 but! they are part of a story i’ve been developing for quite some time and i love them a whole lot

I'm glad you asked! Let's see…

(Disclaimer: These are rough ideas and subject to change. I love these characters so I tend to go on and on and on and on. I will put it under a cut so people are not bombarded by great walls of text lol.)

I toy with the idea of Crystal and Clem being camp counselors at Whispering Rock once they get all their problems sorted out. I'm entertained by the idea of Clem taking over Basic Braining (PUNCH PUNCHY PUNCH YAAAY RAZ!!) The adult Clem I have in my mind looks like a sports coach, and I think his version of Basic Braining would take place in a stadium with various sporting events. Basic Braining but instead of Coach Oleander yelling at you to move your ass, it's Clem being overwhelmingly supportive, "YEAH YOU CAN DO IT! NEVER GIVE UP!"

Now it's time for my girl, Crystal. She sometimes pops in Clem's Basic Braining, but she has her own levitation class (maybe overdone? lol) like Milla's Dance Party. Except instead of 70s disco, it's 80s electro-synth-whatever-the-proper-name-is pop. As for specifics on how it would look or be like, I am still thinking about it. I based my older Crystal's outfit on 80s fitness instructors. She's still very bubbly and optimistic, even more so since now dark emotions don't cloud her mind and weigh her heart. I just want the best for them (her and Clem), so I want them to get better.

I'm still thinking about HOW they get to the recovery point. I cannot explain currently due to my ideas being too vague. I don't want it to sound like the therapy fairy waves her wand and fixes 'em better because it takes effort and a willingness to WANT to get better (for Clem especially because he's so jaded and devoid of hope.) I have faith in Clem for him to change and realize he hasn't always had Crystal's best interests in mind. He does care about her, but he's so entangled in his own negativity. It causes a rough strain on their friendship, but they do reconcile as young adults.

They are not dating as adults, but I do entertain the idea of them trying dating for a very short (and I mean SHORT, like less than a week) time. It's weird and awkward for them, so they prefer just being best friends. They get a ton of people always asking "ARE YOU TWO DATING??" No, they're just besties. I don't really do shipping so I don't ship them with anyone, even as hypothetical adults. I don't know about friends they'd have aside from each other (because I have only thought about hypothetical older versions for a small handful of campers.) Clem basically cuts all contact from his parents (good for him) and Crystal does her best to distance herself from her mother.
