Peter / Dana.

A couple of slightly different vibes here as I find their relationship dynamic to be very interesting, a little turbulent, but otherwise very sound - it's cute

"Chick Habit" -> April March (fairly self-explanatory, being into someone who's a womaniser like Peter is presumably a little tough)

& "Angel" -> Black Pumas (this one is more traditionally romantic and enamoured, because under all his peacocking, there is a very deep affection for Dana on Peter's end)

Egon / Peter.

Interesting dynamic for certain, I've seen floating around a couple of times, and I like the playful, snarky component - as they're both very dry men.

"Spooky" -> Dusty Springfield (this is because they're Ghostbusters, and I like the vibe I'm afraid, but also Peter being a flirt rears it head again)

Winston / Ray.

I loveeee these two, especially if you're taking the modern films into account, which seem to suggest that their connection extends for decades and both appear to canonically lack partners (unlike Peter) - so hey, who's to say they stuck it out long term. But honestly, they have such a good dynamic. Winston is a fairly logical, steady person, and Ray is... very whimsical. But collectively, they work together so well - love their scenes in GBII.

"Why Do You Let Me Stay Here?" -> She & Him. (A soppy one with a lot of endearment, couldn't help myself)

Took me long enough but I got the Winston Pop! Turns out he never got shipped to the Hot topic where I live. Quite sad, but he’s here, thanks to my grandma. As soon as I said I was missing him from the collection, I could not argue and she went on a hunt for me. I love her sm.

More Real Ghostbusters headcanons! Coffee edition

EGON - Drinks a ton of it oh my god - WAY too much cream and sugar though ew - Only one who's ever been able to figure out how to make his coffee is Peter (who hates it)

PETER - Also a caffeine addict - Drinks it strong, with maybe half and half but never anything super sweet - No one makes his coffee for him he is finnicky

WINSTON - Only normal coffee drinker - Drinks a normal amount - Normal amounts of creamer - Doesn't have to worry about anyone making his coffee because he's usually the first up

RAY - Drinks coffee only in the mornings - Straight black coffee - Doesn't have to worry about anyone making his because all they have to do is pour into a mug

JANINE - Pretty much the same as Winston - Iced coffee drinker for sure - Loves flavored creamers (Especially caramel)

Originally I only ordered Ray and Peter online at Boxlunch, and when I went to pick them up, I saw they had Egon at hot topic! For some reason Winston’s not there yet- either sold out or shipping issues, but when I know he’s in I’ll be buying him to complete the set!!

(Also, bonus info, the proton streams are removable!! You can switch them out between the guys if you so please :])

wowwww that’s a lot of chaos already- I remember in my first playthrough, before I had to reset due to the grilled cheese incident, Ray and Winston became best friends quite quickly. I checked Ray’s wants while doing my stuff, and his wants pretty much said: “Flirt with Winston- what’s the worst that could happen?” And that’s when the house burnt down.

Ooh, seasonal headcanons my beloved. I’d imagine them loving the guys to bits! I have a lot of personal headcanons with Ray’s family (which unfortunately get a little depressing, I’ll probably elaborate more soon if you guys want to hear them), but I’d imagine most of them love the guys and welcome them with open arms to any family event. For the gifts the OG four guys (and janine) get one another, it would probably not be big things, but rather smaller, more personal and meaningful stuff. Things relating to their group inside jokes, books they’ve been eying, snacks they enjoy. The little things that feel more meaningful. And of course they’d spend time with each other, sharing their own family holiday traditions and recipes. Overall, the guys are like family to one another and it shows, making for sweet, wholesome holidays.

As for my one word personal headcanon prompts, there are now three! “Curse,” “Family,” and “Parallels” ! They all associate with Peter and Ray specifically. If you guys want to know, speak up- be warned they’re kinda angsty

when i think of peter, i think of classic teddy bear. he’s not really a stuffed animal guy, but either the guys convinced him to go, or it was a gift from dana. either way, it sits on his bedside table :)

she’s cute, she’s classy, she’s a girlboss and we love it. also her fur is very soft and that would come in very handy for our favorite secretary, who is probably stressed from all the phone calls.

Ray

Cadet, Kid, Noobie, Rook, Scooter, Buddy, Sport, Hoss, Slugger, Tiger, Sunshine, Chief, Champ, Youngblood, Killer, Junior, Tenderfoot, Recruit, Ace.

Egon

Cadet, Recruit, Rook.

Peter

After rewatching Over the Garden Wall, I finally have some more ideas for the characters in Over the Ghost Wall/Over the Busted Wall

Dana would be Miss Langtree, the schoolteacher. Peter would be Jimmy Brown

Janine would be The Tavern Keeper maybe?

Samhain (from the show and Spirits unleashes if I remember right) would be Enoch because pumpkin heads

Ray could be Ms Daniel (the woman Greg steals the rock facts rock from)

Adelaide might be Eleanor Twitty (The Librarian)

I don’t know about who Winston, Peck and Louis would be yet… if you guys have any ideas let me know :)

Update! Thanks to @sweetieboo I found roles for Louis and Peck!

Louis is Quincy Endicott, and that one apartment neighbor from the first movie (She’s blonde, dunno if she has a name) will be Marguerite Grey

Peck’s the Highway man. He stares at you until you do something about the environment.

Also this is kinda inspired by @justarandombirb ‘s “Ghostfalls” AU! They’re pretty cool and it inspired me to make this one! :]

Over The Ghost Wall/Over the Busted Wall

Phoebe and Trevor take the role of Greg and Wirt, with Phoebe as Greg and Trevor as Wirt. The two climbed over a broken wall in the graveyard, leading them to the Unknown. A space forgotten by time, but well remembered by anyone who visits. Instead of just the woods, it’s trapped in an eternal winter from the Beast, AKA Garrakka, who freezes children into lifeless blobs of ice, and relies on the souls to keep himself alive with the lantern the Woodsman (or in this case, an Icebreaker? Idk what do you call people who break apart ice for a living.) Melody is Beatrice, cursed to be a Ghostly bird until she finds a way to move on and save her family. I had two ideas for the Woodsman. Either it’s Egon, tricked into believing that the soul he was keeping alive in the lantern was Callie’s, and he wants to bring her back-

Or it’s Peter, Winston or Ray, thinking that the soul in the lantern is Egon’s, wanting to bring him back after him being gone for years and years..

and Slimer’s the frog.

Heya folks How would you guys feel if I made a Ghostbusters over the Garden Wall AU?

I might have some ideas…

Omg I never noticed just how much range there was!! Whenever I played the game I was too busy hunting for achievements and secrets (and kinda getting lectured for going really slow, cause sometimes they’ll ask if you’re okay or say that it’s fine to move into the next room and not stand around)

I also feel like you get some of the least solo time with Egon, other than the second Sedgewick hotel level (Which I adored, the spider witch freaked me the hell out but I love moments with Egon in game) and some other random moments. He always seems to get separated from them. (The staircase breaking and flooding before he can join, separation in the ghost realm) He and Winston don’t get many solo moments with the Rookie, I’ve noticed, which makes me sad. (Unless I forgot something here and there are more moments than I said, it’s been a couple months and I need to replay the game.)

God bless the video games for giving us so many more examples of his voice and personality that the films' limited runtimes couldn't really provide. It feels like some people tend to forget how three-dimensional of a character he really is. These clips show his range so well.

Ship him with Janine? Cute, classic, I like it. Ship him with Ray? Adorable, keep it up please. Peter? Cute pair, has a lot of potential for angst. Winston? Louis? Rarepairs but I see you. Poly ghostbusters? Ocs? You have my heart, people. Please keep going I adore it. The list goes on and I love it. As long as the ships aren’t illegal and you aren’t hurting anyone ofc. I personally juggle Egon around like a bouncy ball when it comes to shipping. Who will he be shipped with next? Who knows! Have fun! Creativity is your gift. Use it to your advantage.

Here is our amazing, cool, Ghostbusters that we ship together sometimes (⁠ ͡⁠°⁠ ͜⁠ʖ⁠ ͡⁠°⁠) But anywho I have drawn our favorite Ghostbusters, and fun fact I kind of mixed the comic Ghostbusters, cartoon Ghostbusters, and movie Ghostbusters together. just because I thought it'd be a cool design/idea :3 This took a while since I really wanted to try my best, at least took like 3 days.

Oh and also.. I decided to draw Janine(mi amor) and Trevor, Phoebe, podcast, and lucky. They deserve some love too :)
