⚠WARNING⚠: pregnancy and birth

Discovery and Early Reactions:

Confusion and Pride:

When Zim first realizes you're is pregnant, he might initially be baffled, even skeptical, as Irkens don’t usually reproduce in the same way. However, once he accepts it, he would be immensely proud, convinced his offspring will be the most superior smeet to ever exist.

Over-the-Top Protection:

Zim takes “protective” to a new level. He creates a series of bizarre gadgets designed to monitor the reader’s health 24/7, though they’re often uncomfortable or impractical. He insists on monitoring every little change, always declaring, “Your body must be in peak condition to produce the ultimate smeet!”

Clumsy Affection:

Despite his usual intensity, Zim tries to show small moments of gentleness, which are new for him. He’ll bring you strange Irken "snacks" he thinks are nutritious and will hover, awkwardly patting their head or shoulder to show he cares.

Preparing for the Birth:

Bizarre Nursery Set-Up:

Zim insists on building the perfect environment for their smeet, filling it with strange Irken technology and gadgets designed for optimal “growth and supremacy.” He even tries to make a “conqueror's crib,” filled with oddly shaped toys that resemble weapons, thinking it’ll prepare the smeet for a powerful future.

Irken "Rituals":

Zim talks about mysterious Irken rituals (which may or may not be real🤨) that are supposed to bring strength and resilience to smeets. He tries to adapt these rituals for you, such as making her chant Irken phrases or wear specific colors he claims have “cosmic significance.”

Obsession with Training:

Even before the smeet arrives, Zim speaks to your belly about their child’s future in conquest and Irken greatness, trying to give the smeet a “head start” in Irken knowledge, which might actually involve him ranting about the basics of invasion and tactics.

During the Pregnancy:

Constant Check-Ins and Worry:

Zim insists on checking in constantly, often in the most inconvenient ways. He’ll zap in out of nowhere, demanding updates on how the “human incubation process” is going, occasionally fussing over things he doesn’t understand but insists on controlling anyway.

Mood Swings and Patience Tests:

Zim is unused to human emotions and struggles to understand your mood swings. He tries to help but occasionally slips up, saying things like, “Stop your nonsensical crying, human! You’re growing an unstoppable warrior!” He ultimately tries to be patient, though his methods are often clumsy.

The Birth:

Over-the-Top Birth Plan:

Zim creates an entire “operation plan” for your labor, involving dramatic entrances, lasers, and Irken technology he insists will “ensure victory in birthing!” However, most of it is impractical, and when the moment arrives, he has to abandon his plans and just be there.

Unexpected Softness:

As their smeet arrives, Zim might find himself unexpectedly overwhelmed with emotions he’s never felt. He stares at his tiny offspring with wide eyes, not fully understanding his reaction but feeling an instinct to protect this little being.

Adjusting to Fatherhood:

Zim tries to teach their smeet the ways of Irken glory from day one, but he’s occasionally gentle in his own way. He awkwardly holds his smeet close, talking to them about “conquering inferior worlds” and bonding with his offspring in his own intense, proud way.
