How They Handle Spice w/ Bakugo, Kirishima, Tamaki and Izuku

Katsuki Bakugo

Honestly it's just canon at this point that he loves spicy foods

He can't get enough of it, he's always adding chili oil or just straight up chili flakes to his food basically no matter what

His tolerance for it is absolutely insane! Sero and Denki put some ghost pepper in his ramen one time to prank him and he barely noticed. He only noticed because of the flavor smh

Because of this eating anything he specifically made for himself is almost impossible for the normal person, good luck snatching his lunch, your mouth will be on fire for hours after wards

If your eating anything spicy when your near him and you can't handle it without downing water every five seconds you will never hear the end of it

He will tease you relentlessly about it while handing you a glass of milk. He might be a bit rude but his soft spot is big

Now if your eating spicy stuff and taking it like a champ?? Completely different story

He will 100% challenge you to see how high your tolerance is, he can't let you beat him

If you don't beat him he'll tease a bit but not too much. He'll get you a glass of water or milk and make sure your okay though, he can't help his soft spot for you

If you beat him??? Congrats on being a try hard! You're both almost crying at the end but finally he breaks and starts drinking his water/milk, you are more than welcome to tease him about it until the day he drops dead though

Ejiro Kirishima

Kiri thinks being able to handle spicy food is extra manly.

He himself can handle lower levels but nothing too spicy and he wont go out of his way to add any spice.

He's worried the cook might see it as an insult or he might ruin the dish from adding too much

If your able to handle spice super well and have it a bunch? He will not stop calling you manly

Eating spicy ramen? "That's so manly of you!" Eating literally anything with chili oil? "Whoa! Your so manly for eating that! Your insane!"

It's cute but sometimes you just wanna eat some spicy stuff in peace.

If you have no spice tolerance at all then he's very understanding. He doesn't bring it up

He doesn't want to make you feel bad on accident.

If you end up eating something spicy on accident he'll be there in seconds with some water or milk and a napkin in case you wanted to spit it out.

Overall, very manly of him :)

Tamaki Amajiki

Seeing as his quirk is related to food in such an extreme way, he wants to make sure he could eat anything if he needed to.

Can't fight a villain if your mouth is on fire from a spicy dish!

He 100% did it out of pure anxiety, he didn't want to end up messing up an important fight because he wasn't able to eat something due to it being too spicy

Now that doesn't mean he's a god with spice though

He wont actively seek spicy things every meal but he will have at least 5 meals or snacks that are spicy a week so his tolerance doesn't go down.

He definitely knows if your good with spices or not, he can't help but pay attention

If your really good with spice and actively add it to stuff he'll point out what's the spiciest thing in the cafeteria or on the menu

It's simple but it shows you he cares :)

But if your really bad with spice he'll make sure you don't accidentally order something spicy

Of course if you do end up eating something spicy on accident he's there to offer you a glass of milk or water. He doesn't like seeing you in pain :)

Izuku Midoriya

He cannot handle spice. Like at all.

He used to be okay with it, especially because of Bakugo.

But once he hit middle school he stopped eating it and because of that his tolerance is super low.

He isn't really bothered by it but if you say anything about it he's going to try to start building a bit of a tolerance just to impress you.

If you can handle spice then he's going to try and build his a bit

He wants to be able to seem cool to you and keep up!

If you can't handle spice he's pretty relieved, another person who can't handle spice!

If you end up accidentally eating something spicy he'll feel really bad and quickly grab you some water. It's what he drinks when he has something spicy

BNHA Boyfriend/Girlfriend Series!

Welcome to part one of the series! This weeks main event(my personal favorite villain) : Dabi/ Touya Todoroki!!!

NOTE: This is barely related to canon. This is almost completely self indulgent on my behalf.

How you met: You were on your way home when you took the wrong turn, not necessarily bumping into someone but just barely missing them. You apologized immediately, looking up you noticed an extremely handsome guy with odd burn marks on his face and neck. Though you didn't think too much of it and went home.

How you got to talking: He was very much stalking you. You obviously didn't notice but you did end up bumping into him again, he was freaking out thinking you'd realize he's been watching you for a week but instead you laughed and called it fate. He went along and asked for your number, and who were you to say no to "fate"

Your first date: Dabi, not being able to go much of anywhere due to being a villain, asked you out to dinner in a little hole in the wall noodle shop. You had said yes and got dressed up for it and everything.

First kiss: He won't admit it at all but he's a hopeless romantic at heart, but most things went wrong for him in life so he's scared. You on the other hand are openly a hopeless romantic, flowers, chocolates, matching outfits and backgrounds type stuff. He thought it was cute, so he finally gave in and did something special. It was right after your first date, he stopped and picked some flowers off the side of the road and gave them to you. He hadn't realized it but he ended up grabbing your favorite ones. You both walked back to your place and before you went in the building you thanked him for taking you out. You gave him a soft kiss on the cheek, barely above his staples. He smirked and leaned down and gave you a quick peck on the lips, claiming it was his payment. You went upstairs with the biggest smile and heart eyes sketched on your face

When you went official: Dabi had been putting it off for a really long time, you attributed it to either not liking you anymore or having some commitment issues. After all you'd been talking and seeing each other for about three months. You confronted him about it after getting a little too worried and he admitted he doesn't like using labels like that. You agreed silently and dropped it, only for him to officially ask you out two days later on the roof of your apartment building. Nothing too romantic, he had insisted he just liked the stars that night, "Must've been fate" he had said.

Finding out he's a villain: It had been about two week after you went official when he finally realized you had no idea what he does. You didn't mind much, its his job not yours after all. But he knew his work was dangerous for those he loved and himself included, not coming home from a mission was a definite possibility and it was something he only now started worrying about. Before you he hadn't minded if he came home or not. He of course still had things he wanted to accomplish but he knew if it was his time nothing was going to stop the universe from taking him. Then he met you and he fell in love. He was horrified of your reaction. He was very familiar with the idea of "Nothing stays forever" but he knew he had to tell you. And so he did. It took a few days for you to truly wrap your head around it but it wasn't too bad. You had always had some suspicions. You never went to his house, you knew he had a fire quirk and the news kept talking about a villain with one, he didn't like going anywhere popular or in the day time. You weren't stupid but you hadn't expected him to be an important member of the League of Villains. He explained more about it and why he was with them and how it was a deeper reason than "I like killing people" you didn't agree with the methods they used but you felt sympathetic to their message. You would never leave him over it but he also knew you didn't want much to do with it. That was until Toga came into the picture

Your first "I love you": You both put it off for an unusually long time. You were afraid to say it incase you scared him away, you knew about his commitment issues and you didn't want to push anything on him. He was afraid because he expected you to say it long before he was ready to, but you didn't. He figured it was because you didn't love him so he put it off. It came out pretty naturally for both of you. He had just gotten to your apartment and climbed into bed with you. Silently wrapping his arms around your sleeping body. You woke up in a slight haze. He told you to go back to bed, pulling you closer. You snuggled into him and mumbled lightly, "what was that, babe?" "I love you" "I love you too babe."

BNHA Boyfriend/Girlfriend Series!

How you met: It was when you were on your way back to work from lunch. You had been a little in your head and then suddenly you hear a scream, "Watch out!" you turned your head only to see headlights coming straight at you. You went to dash out of the way only to be carried out of the way by a bright red feathers. One rubbing against your face softly, seemingly trying to calm you down. Your heart was pounding in your chest from the moment and you looked around to see who saved you. That's when you made eye contact with the number two hero, Hawks.

How you started talking: After your close call with death, the winged hero came up to you to check that you were okay. You were shaken up but overall okay. With your adrenaline still pumping you looked up at him and asked him if he wanted to get lunch sometime soon. His face immediately showed how he felt, pure shock. After a few beats of silence he laughed out loud and agreed. "You just nearly died and your asking me out?" "Oh, yeah I guess I am huh." Needless to say he said yes, asking for your number to arrange something soon.

First date: About a week after you two first met you met up him on the weekend. It was a simple lunch outing at a smaller food shop. You got a private room in the back of the shop and laughed the whole time. It was the best date you'd ever been on, so far.

First kiss: It was a bit after your third outing/date together you had both gone back to your place. Hawks was a bit little too tipsy to go back home so you let him spend the night at your apartment in the spare room. You were both sitting on the couch, not tired enough to go to sleep but not awake enough to do anything other than relax. Your head resting on his shoulder he planted a light kiss on your forehead and started whispering about how much he enjoyed your company. "I never realized how lonely hero work was until we went out. You've given me so many good memories in such a short amount of time. Thank you dove." You lifted your head from his should and stared at him with a hard to read expression. "Shit, I'm sorry dove, that was a lot of me to dump on you suddenly, I can leave if yo-" you planted a soft but meaningful kiss on his lips, pulling away "Don't leave, I want you here. You make me feel safe."

He tells you his real name: It was a few days after your first kiss. He was going to tell you a bit earlier, out of pure respect for you and your relationship but he hadn't yet and he felt bad. You knew it wasn't his real name but you weren't pushing him, he was allowed to have secrets and you definitely didn't like him for his name. He ended up spending the night again on a pure whim. You made dinner for you two and had sat and watched a movie. That's when he told you. "I know you know Hawks isn't my real name. And you mean a lot to me so I think you should know it. Hi, I'm Keigo Takami. It's nice to meet you." He smiled at you as you started giggling at his silly introduction despite the weight of his words. "Hi Keigo Takami, Im y/n y/l/n. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

When you went official: Hawks was both ready to do it the day after your first kiss together and yet he found himself not doing it. He was worried about his image in the public. He didn't want any fangirls to start attacking you if they found out you were together and he didn't want anyone to really know about you incase you were targeted by a villain. You, on the other hand, weren't really a fan of not knowing what you were. You both had feelings for each other but you didn't know much other than that. You didn't know if you were able to tell your friends you were dating someone or if you had to just tell them you were talking to someone. It wasn't too bad but it still left you uneasy so you had decided to say something. He told you the truth about his unease in the situation and you shared his concern but you knew you could fight back and that he would save you, he was your hero after all. You talked it through and he officially asked you out. You were his and he was yours.

First "I love you": It wasn't too long after you had started dating, maybe a week or so. He was both afraid to say it incase he scared you off and yet he wasn't. He decided that if he scared you away with his feelings it wasn't meant to be. He ended up making a big deal out of, making a whole plan to make sure everything went right. Unfortunately for him, it didn't. You ruined his whole plan in a matter of three words about 15 before his plan could be officially set into action. He had asked you out on a date, not giving much information other than to dress nicely. So you threw on a fancier outfit compared to usual and walked out into the living room, where a certain winged hero was waiting patiently in a suit. As soon as he saw you he showered you in compliments, blown away by how good you had looked. That prompted you to let it out. "Thank you, you look quite handsome yourself. It reminds me of why I love you." He smirked before what you said finally sank in and his smirk dropped. Suddenly you felt extremely anxious, did he not love you? Did he think it was too soon? Your mind rushed with possibilities before he let out a low laugh, your head snapping to look him in the eyes as he spoke, "Of course you beat me to it, that's all you ever seem to do." "W-what?" "This whole date was so I could tell you I love you at the perfect time, but you beat me to it." He pouted, clearly upset you ruined his plan on accident. "But, I love you too. You mean a lot to me even though we haven't been together for too long. You make me genuinely happy and I want you to know it."
