Ahhhh I just wanted to try painting and ended up making a fishmen scene but I love it <3
(Progress pics, speed paint, close up under break)
On the twelfth day of Christmas, a monster gave to me! Twelve sirens singing! đ¶
Whoop drew my Triton Druid. Using him for a campaign for my school dnd club and itâs pretty spicy.
His name is Delnis and is the only son to a Triton noble family. He likes to be around corals and plants because of his love for botany. (Heâs an amateur botanist) His family wants him to marry someone from another noble family but fell in love with another Triton from a rival family.Â
Tbh, this is my favorite dnd character.
@madhouseicecream âs characters from their comic âBlack Waterâ. They were posting a lot of cool stuff lately and were really nice and I wanted to make something for them. (I actually have no idea how old is Alex, and I wrote âadditional kidâ because I noticed all that kid stuff in Lewisâs flat. Kinda the reason why I can see him as a âdad friendâ.)
Fishfolk just wanna ball.
Giant anglerfish woman and her tiny anglerfish husband because anglerfish gender dynamics are cool and weird!
I often find that fantasy creature designs don't draw on real-life gender dynamics in animals. Instead, most creature designs draw on more rigid societal gender norms. This is infuriating because it ignores a big opportunity for really creative and unique designs. So I decided to fix that! :3
Edgar Meelow
I've finally drawn my favorite boy! Edgar is my oldest and most beloved OC, and i used to draw him all the time. I've never drawn him from this angle - but I'm super proud of how it turned out! i used alcohol markers, ink pen, and colored pencils.
my first digital drawing of Edgar (from 2020) as a comparison. this piece was made before i had decided much about his story, so all the royal details were undecided and unused since. this was also during my early days of digital art - when i first started looking at programs outside of MS Paint, but i still had a screenless drawing tablet.
