Chapter [1] - RESET

He couldn’t take it anymore. Days blurred together in his dissociated state of mind. It was monotonous.

Objectively, he knew there were other timelines but he could not recall seeing them with his own eyes. Perhaps he had some long time ago.

What even was time in the context of so many RESETs?

If he had, he’d long forgotten it in the face of so many genocides.

He could hear the familiar call of his brother from outside of his bedroom door. He was tired. Stars above, he was so fucking tired.

What was the point in anything if this was what it led to?

He used to believe the anomaly would grow bored of the same thing everytime. How wrong he was.

Now he questioned if the anomaly even had a higher level of conscious, was the anomaly an entity capable of thought? Or was the anomaly an ‘it’, like a parasite, something that needed violence like a fish needed water, a human needed air? Could the anomaly get bored?

Was Frisk, the child, conscious of the actions the anomaly made? Could Frisk fight the control? If Frisk could, did Frisk care to? Did the kid let this happen, give in willingly?

Loud knocking disrupted his chaotic thoughts. He let out a groan of a response so his brother knew he was up and did not need to be dragged out of bed.

He let himself fall into that hazy, dissociative  state of mind once more, going about this day the same way he had for every RESET before.

It took him a bit to notice through his hazy mind.

The kid was late…

Known as Void!Sans or Player!Sans - (I still can't decide)

Has no emotions due to his lack of a soul

Absorbs the emotions of those around him, making them feel neutral or void

When around the [Player], he doesn't absorb emotions so easily by being around people, when around the [Player] he has to be physically touching someone to absorb their emotion

He does not feel the emotions he absorbs

He isolates himself to avoid taking people's happiness and joy

As Sans does not have his soul, he can not use magic, at least, not exactly

Without his soul, Sans began to feel cold so he changed his outfit

Background Lore

[Player] goes through many genocide runs, taking their pain, frustration, and stress out on fictional characters

After yet another genocide run, [Player] true RESETS the game but gets caught up in [irl] problems, unable to return to the game

In 'Frisk's' sudden disappearance, Sans becomes more unstable than he already was (genocide route over and over again)

Sans grows restless waiting, constantly on edge

In a fit of desperation and his spiraling mental health, Sans tears his soul out

-his justification being that 'Frisk' will just RESET when they notice he's not there

...He doesn't die somehow, but feels... content, no worry, no fear, no sadness,... no joy, no... happiness...

...void

[Player] awakes with a horrible, splitting headache in a field of... yellow flowers

[Player] doesn't have a soul of their own as they aren't from the world, as such, their body latches on to the first/only soul with no body, Sans' soul

Frisk wakes up in the flower field once again... they feel... strange

It feels as if something has changed, something has left them...

They feel... free

Okay, so I had an amazing idea that totally won’t flop.

So yall remember the Player comic series? The one set in Undertale where the player transports themselves in the game, talks a bit with sans, repeatedly gets forced out for some reason, helps Frisk gain free will during a genocide run, goes full pacifist but it resets, confronts Gaster, and gets their happy ending (from when I checked last). Yeah, the one with the gray skinned kid with black & red clothing.

Well, we take that idea and apply it to Deltarune (with proper credit to the original creator, of course). I think it’d be fun to see, considering now, Kris has something to argue with & free will, while the player would have to explain how they got into this predicament to Kris without saying the whole “your life’s a game” thing if he’s with others.

I’d actually get to whipping shit up now, buuuttt I can’t draw for shit and I don’t got no money to pay people. Still, good idea!

Yandere Madness Combat x reader, Player au pt 1

”Oh thank you player” I say as the player put a (favorite/color) nail polish on me, "But can I ask what is my roll in the 'game' " I question "or in general" The player smiled as twirled some of their hair " You where the healer, though not good with weapons enemies calmed down and didn't attack as frequently or hard, and allies gained health faster and get there health boxes back if lost" I think about it for a second before nodding "Don't tell the others" They said looking at me "But you were always my favorite" If I had a mouth I think I would be smiling "Really, well that why you always took control over me whenever you could" looking at the time I start to panic "I'm sorry player but I must get going, I have a mission soon" "Its fine, go ahead i'll be waiting" I wave as I rush out the room.

The player was aware most of the boys liked them, but they never liked any of them back, but they were a shipper. In the real world they read lots of madness combat characters x (y/n), hell they read one where they got a yandere harem of the others 'That was there favorite' but how should they go to get the others to fall in love with them.

Have Hank save them on a mission,

Sanford and Deminos get hurt on a mission and they help heal them,

They help 2BDammed fix someone up,

Maybe Tricky takes them and likes there calming effect,

Jeb helps them save a grunt,

They protect the Sheriff from a threat,

They heal the Auditor even though they know he is the enemy,

Or maybe they aren't scared of Phobos he take an interest in them,

Oh the possibilities are endless, when the player was positive no one was coming they went to there closet, inside was many papers some with drawings others with writing, there own fanfictions and fanart. They suddenly had an idea, pulling up the menu screen they did a little coding making it so the others had the feelings they felt towards the player go to (y/n) 'good thing I learned how to code' they thought more so happy they can see there ships sail.

"Little did I know what they felt for me was dangerous, and now they felt that way towards them they would try and never let go, and no matter how hard I tried to make there affection come back to me it never did, It was a one time thing"
