I’m confused about your reply about that essay… I thought they said they liked Otto? They didn’t sound upset about him? What’s the issue….

Edit: Ohh you are talking about that person, sorry my mistake. Well, the thing I’m saying about that person is that they said “they don’t hate Otto” but then proceeded to say all kinds of stuff (stuff not being their arguments pointed out), but what bugs me about them saying they don’t necessarily hate him is them taking out much time to write out all possible arguments to what me and the Otto blog stated. That’s something that makes me think they’re quietly telling me to shut up, even though what I have said about Otto saving Bianca from having to deal with the HoV and putting it instead in Kiana.

People forget that, and plus, I think people hate Otto clearly and mostly because of what he did to Kiana. Personally Idc for her because she’s a clone and I like Bianca better for many reasons- but at least I let people like who they like instead of going around Otto fans and telling them he’s horrible and he should’ve died as he did lmao.

I don’t get why everyone hates Otto after everything he’s done for the people around him. There’s a literal never-ending list- Going on for 500 years to save the love of his life, saving Kiana as a kid (from both the Hershinger (idk how to spell rn bear with me) and the fire), blaming himself for everything even though quite brutally, Kallen was the one who still unleashed Honkai and much, much more. 😭

He even died with peace and people still be hating on him, the audacity of these people 💀

Most of the things people hold against him are either lies, or exaggerated facts that don't take into consideration all the good he did. Because let's not forget, humanity has fared so well against Honkai because of HIM who organized Schicksal in a real anti-Honkai organization. He gave a new chance to Sirin in form of Kiana, and that saved Mei and then Bronya as well. Humanity got Herrscher of Void, Thunder and Flamescion on the side of humanity because of him. The strongest Valkyrie, Durandal, grew up this good because of him. If humanity really will manage to defeat Honkai once and for all, it will be because of him. Kallen has a new chance in life because of him. His sacrifice, and I don't mean just the latest chapter, but all his 500 years life, has granted humanity a new future, something not even the Previous Era with all its Moths and everything had managed to achieve. He is the real hero of HI3, and he doesn't deserve all the hate he gets.

Seeing quite a lot of misinformation floating around with the recently released flashback scene in HSR, so I felt the need to clarify it a bit for the players

This is Otto Apocalypse, the Overseer of one of the most powerful organizations and one of the main Antagonists in the Honkai Impact 3rd universe.

His Honkai: Star Rail counterpart is Luocha

This person is Void Archives, the first Divine Key, who made a deal with Otto 500 years ago and took over his body after he died. Yes, they share a face. No, they are not the same person!

The person in Welt's flashback, that he gets upon seeing Luocha's face, is, in fact, not Otto Apocalypse but Void Archives! (These images shown in the Flashback are taken from the cutscene of their very first meeting)

Void Archives approached Welt and asked him for help in a complex matter and they travel to space together to save earth and, upon having a discussion, agree to save other planets from the same threat (if you want to know more I highly suggest reading the 'Alien Space' manga, as it kind of functions as an introduction to Hobkai: Star Rail as well!)

Void Archives is also heavily implied to be the companion that arrived with Welt and the person that Welt refers to as his 'old friend' that left the Express recently!

Clouds of steam covered every touchy places, but you was still nervous seeing Otto waiting for you in the bath, half-naked. Only steam and towel on his hips protected you from seeing him in full his naked glory. He gave you warm smile, but in this was something... different. It wasn't the same smile, which he bestowed to you usually, but you felt that his message in this smile was a little bit... ambiguous and heralded something a bit different than only a shared bath.

It's not like that you're shy or... something similar. It's not like that... you don't like it...

You marched with perky step to the edge of bath and after a few moments dipped in warm, relaxing water, joining Otto, who chuckled at your suddenly confident behavior. He bring his body closer to you, and surrounding you warm water instead calming you only intensified the baking and pink coating in your cheeks.

This fucking warm water don't help me...

Otto, despite his closing to you, didn't touch your skin even small finger. He only took a glass of his favourites, red wine and started drink this with undisguised pleasure. You tried didn't staring at his delightful lips and you tried didn't think about his unspoken promises. You blushed more, when your imagination jumped out in a bigger works.

— Are you okey, my dear? — he asked tearing you off from your fantasies.

Perhaps, it's only my imagimation... Perhaps, he's normal, but I add at this second bottom...

Suddenly, his fingers touched your shoulders. Otto's second hand landed at your waist, he asked, this time closer at your ear, again:

— Are you okey, my dear? Can I help you?

You clenched your legs at his words and tone. Sweet of honey for his voice mixed with a little bit lower tone led your mind to strange condition. His fingers still made circles on your shoulder. Second hand moved to your face a full of blush.

— We can relocate to my room and I can help you here. — his voice wasn't nothing bigger than silent, seductive whisper. Your body trembling under his touch, as always when he promised you help in his room.

— Ehhhh... what this help is supposed to be about? — you wanted to your voice was more confident than this, but those hands.

His hands didn't left your skin and body; those finger already touched every your body parts in this moment, sending shakes of pleasure. You really wanted be quite, but how this can possible, when the most handsome man in your life touched your body with almost surgical precision.

— So... how will it be? — his lips touched your earlobe.

Your mind was empty; you stood up to attention, but your towel...

You tried found towel using your gaze and luckily you quickly found it in water. As fast as you found this towel, you tried cover up.

— Hahhahaha... — his laugh bounded the wall of bath. — Don't worry, I already seen your naked body.

It's true... It's even more than true. He already seen you naked, not the first time, and not the last time...

Your mind was messy, and his move as grabbed your hips, didn't help your condition. Obviously, he got up too and towered over your silhouette.

— So... I guess must ask again... — he started but you break his monologue.

— N-no. You d-don't need r-repeat this. A-and y-y-yes... — you swallowed saliva. — I c-c-can go with you to your r-r-room...

— Excellent. — he smiled with a little bit more dark smile, which you already didn't see, because you both leaved bath and headed towards hangers with bathrobes.

— Yhmmm... — Otto barely swallowed his piece, similiar to you.

Howether those legends about a bad cooking skills of Kaslana's family members weren't hyperbole...

— Sweet cookies for my sweet friends! — Kaslana announced with happy and some kind of proud.

Those cookies weren't sweet. It tasted even worse than previous soup by which... NO! You didn't want remember this. Anyway, you and Otto didn't want to cause distress her by a such trivial thing as cookies. So we gladly nodded for what she clapped with satisfaction.

— It's really delicious, my dear Kallen. — Otto said as if he wanted to confirm his gesture. He grabbed the next cookie and he tried fiding his disgust.

— I'm happy that we finally have time for a friendly meeting, picnic among trees and... OH! — she suddenly a broke her monologue as she remembered something. — I put something in house! Be right back!

Kallen quickly ran, but she didn't stope a far to place of picnic. Her glad gaze attentively stared you and her childhood friend with expectancy what's happening at this moment, when you and Otto were alone.

But much to her surprise, Otto by gestures tried ask you about tissue, which you gave him with compassion in your eyes and face. It looked like he spit her cookies out to tissue and throw it into the the closest garbage. Of course, Kallen weren't happy by this situation.

— Not enough that's disgusting, this is unkind too! — she whispered to herself, but her gaze still was staring to her two friends. Otto sat down closer to you than earlier for what a Kallen's breath stopped with excitement.

— Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! — she chanted in her mind, but her a long awaited dream didn't coming, a least didn't in this moment.

You two didn't talk by a bit too long time for her. Her eyes squinted with disappointment — she didn't initiated and setted this situation for this deadly silence. She wanted seen you and him together or heard any conversation, really, any talking about common interests, which you have, even if she didn't understand it.

— I must do anything... — she whispered with desperation, cower in bushes. She strained her mind to thinking, but this wasn't to work. Suddenly, fortuna or different god smiled to her and her work.

— So... well... heh... — you tried say anything for loosen up the atmosphere. Otto turned around towards you and gave you curious gaze mixed with charming smile, which would bring every person to knees.

— Do you need anything from me? — he asked resisting his head on hand.

— N-no! I'm not, I only wanted talking with you, it's everything, what's I need from you! — you quickly explained your intention with a bit panic in voice, fearing as he understanding it.

— Oh... talking? Good, but about what? — he chuckled on your scared behaviour. It was really interesting and cute, when usually strong and fearless individual was becoming in shy.

— Are he flirting? — Kallen's breath stopped again on this think. Her guesswork about Otto's interest in you is true. She even had evidence for support this!

Meanwhile you still blushing, no knowledge, how you should interpreted his words. His gaze suddenly tuned around path which Kallen went off.

— Kallen already don't back a long time... — he whispered with worry. You looked where his eyes was, and you had admit right to him.

— Yeah, but don't worry, she's strong and can handle any threat! — you tried calm him from worries about his long-time friend, while Kallen was proud that you've think a such high about her, and Otto smiled for this.

— It's true... — he said with a little smile and thought for a brief moments. — ...she's really strong.

You approached to his and rested your head on his arm. His smell was really nice – not water cologne, but what's... you didn't specified this. But this smell made you feel relaxed and safe next to him. As in safe home, where you could return, when you need...

— Hmmmm... — you heard his silent, warm chuckled, and after a few seconds you quickly step aside with blushed face. You wanted apologise him for the discomfort, but his reaction didn't show discomfort, on the contrary.

Meanwhile, in bushes, Kallen almost jumped from happiness, which a full her person. Finally, what's happening and you both had brave. She waited a long time for this moment, but... this wasn't enough.

— I guess must leave their alone in Otto's room with bottle of wine... hihihihihihihi! — she chuckled and beamed with pride for her genius and perfect plan.

Is he can love anyone?

This question sometimes bothered him and prompted him to serious thinks. Sometimes he felt as if he didn't deserve to any happiness in his life, even temporary. He even sometimes wondered, why you chose him and you want hang out with him...

— Honey... — Otto whispered silently and gently to your ear. He chuckled, when you tried cover yourself with a duvet, ignoring light sunlight which illuminated your room.

He opened the curtains without any warning. You complained in your bed, that you wanted sleep, but he only looked with pity on you and you knew that you don't had chance to win this battle with him.

— I have plan spend time with you today, but if you don't want... — he started say with pretending sad, but everyone, who knew him, would have noticed that is only his method to getting you out of bed. But, unfortunately for you, this was very effective method.

Apart from that, who would have refused those pretty emerald green eyes?

You quickly waked up and started eat his scrambled eggs, which he cooked for you. Of course, it was very delicious, but what to expect from his cooking skills? And you didn't allow forget him about this fact, what's caused a smile on his face.

— It's good that you like it. — he answered to your compliments. — Better, eat this now, my dear. I planned something special in this day.

— What have you planned? — you asked him with curiosity.

— It's suprise, my dear. Suprise. — for underline your words he put a finger on his lips, which you like kiss without end. Your cheeks blushed for those thinks, what's he quickly noticed with a little mischevious smile.

Every dark thinks about him leaved his mind, when you spended time with him. He really liked time which he spended with you. Only Theresa and Kallen evoked in him a such many positive emotions and feelings.

Kallen...

He wanted see your meeting with her; he had almost complete certainty, you would like her. But... when he thinks about this, he came more gloomy.

It's reminded him that this idyll will end.

— Hey! Earth to Otto! — you summon his from distant planet his plans and thinks. — We'll go or not?

— Of course, my dear. — on his face bloomed brilliant smile again, which you loved. He offered you his arm, what you accepted with blush.

— You're fool, if you really still love me... — he whispered pointing the gun at your forehead. Every screams of your companions missed his ears. He only looked at your eyes, to see any signs of disgust or, though, signs of fear in your gaze. But he didn't see any from this things.

You're not only fool – you're insane too. Even more than him...

After this your words, everyone could hear sound of shot. Your dead body slumped against his body.

He did, what he want. He showed you, as he could be cruel. That your love for him was absolutely foolish. He should felt good after this...

But... he have one question now...

Why? Why it hurt him so much?
